A good story line turned dull. Boring dialog, dull writing, … need I go on?
A society built on slavery leads to interesting plots for resistance. Author shows readers what the cost of freedom can become. Good book one in the series to see if freedom can come again to humans of the future.
Very intriguing and exciting story.
When I resd a book I try to adhere to the laws of nature of the story. I. E. In the movie Suoerman Returns. There is no way Superman ‘s son would not have bern raised by Lois Lane. He would had killed her? So my point is 10,000 years and no major changes to technology? In the scope of what is oresented seems bit unrealistic. Amd a space station surviving that long seems the dsme esy. Other than that the story is really GREAT
Yes, some of the protagonists died, but it all felt too easy, to clean. Revolution is dirty & agonizing on personal, community, and cultural scales. There was no agony, and certainly no deals with the devil that turn real revolutions into juggernauts their instigators wouldn’t recognize.
Throughout the book, I kept feeling that the other d sore would drop any minute: that’s what kept me reading and has me curious about the second volume.
might have been a good read but the author kept pounding slag slag slag over and ever again. we get it. but made the thought of reading further too onerous
