She’s looking for someone with a rich character, not bank account… life.
He’s searching for something, but isn’t sure what…
Brody may come across as a fast-talking rich boy with a sweet car. He’s secured a position in the hottest frat on campus and has the attitude of a guy who’s never known what it’s like to go without. So, yeah, it’s a pretty accurate description. But there’s more to the youngest Temple brother than meets the eye.
When Brody keeps showing up in Emma’s world, her initial assumption is that he’s still playing games. As his confessions come to light, Emma starts to see beneath the surface. Will it be enough to change her perception of him? And will she be able to teach Brody that love is worth more than all his money can buy?

I recently listened to Brody by Bethany Lopez and truly enjoyed it. Narrated by Zachery Johnson and Krys, they truly brought Emma and Brody’s story to life in the third book of the Frat House Confessions series. Emma is kind, caring and very likable. Brody is the cocky rich boy, but he is also so much more and we get to see that as the story moves forward. Emma’s life has not been an easy one, where Brody has lived the exact opposite. And yet, they share chemistry and a connection. Their journey was a bit of a slow burn, light and captivating.
Happy listening!
Frat House Confessions: Brody by Bethany Lopez is a college romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Zachary Johnson and Krys Janae.
This is the third book in the Frat House Confessions and can be read as a standalone. However, I would highly recommend reading them in order since the stories are interconnected.
This is the third book of Bethany’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Brody and Emma. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the story. It really brought the story to life.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series Frat House Confessions: Crush.
Zachary and Krys did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like college romances, sweet romances, romantic comedies, or contemporary romance.
Frat House Confessions: Brody
By: Bethany Lopez
Narrated by: Zachary Johnson, Krys Janae
Series: Frat House Confessions, Book 3
Ridge, Wes and Brody. How can I choose which one I love the most? These brothers all possess those qualities about men that I love. There is something special about Brody though that gave him that edge over the other two. Enemies, Brody and Emma always have an attitude with each other. Never a kind word between them. But things change, and as Brody makes the effort and Emma gets to know him, we see an entirely new side to their budding relationship. It’s so easy to fall for this family, and while I love the couple, I love the family dynamics. The brothers and sisters add a dimension to the story that gives us that feeling of being a member of their family. And I love Emma with her brother too, as he fights his demons. It’s a fun, easy listen and is a great series.
Zachary Johnson and Krys Janae give a fabulous narration. I enjoyed both of their performances. They fit the characters and made each voice their own. I look forward to more from them both.

Brody (Frat House Confessions #3) was a good read by Bethany Lopez. Emma hasn’t had an easy life. She has used her disadvantages to fuel her passion for helping other people. She works hard, loves her brother, and has no extra time in her busy life. Brody is a rich boy with a fast car. Brody keeps finding ways to show up in Emma’s world. I enjoyed reading Brody and Emma’s story and cant wait to read more by the author.
Cute couple, love this family. I seriously love when the sisters get pulled into the story. Love the banter between each couple and the brothers.
I always enjoy this author’s books. The characters are well developed and engaging with the couple having undeniable chemistry making the storyline flow smoothly from beginning to the end.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I haven’t read previous books in this series and was able to follow along this one just fine.
This was a sweet, light, easy to read story. I liked main characters and all secondary characters were also great addition. I enjoyed family dynamics between Brody, Wes and Ridge.
Brody and Emma had good chemistry but I can’t help but feel like the storyline was rushed. There was also no angst or drama so I missed that in the end. Otherwise, quick and cute story. I’ll probably check out Ridge’s and Wes’s stories also.
I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
There is more than meets the eye in this story. Brody may come across as the cocky man who has it all but Emma soon discovers there’s more under his exterior. They’re sweet together and as they get to know each other, you can’t help but root for them. I reading watching them grow and learn to trust in their feelings for each other.

I’ve loved Ridge, and Wes and I’m so happy to finally get a HEA for Brody!
Emma is one tough cookie and she’s got a lot of trouble with most of the males in her life. Brody’s tactic for teasing her into liking him is adorable and effective, and together they are a perfect, steamy match.
Getting to see the whole crew again was very fun. I love this world and all the characters in it! I was sad to not get more resolution on the boys’ dad, Crush and the whole situation with Emma’s ex, but I have a feeling we’ll get there one day!
The story of the Temple brothers comes to a satisfying end with this third installment in the Frat House Confessions series as youngest brother Brody tries to win the heart of a young woman who has every reason to distrust him. These two opposites though, trying to find their place in the world, soon find themselves giving into an attraction that ends up being just what they need. From the first page to the last readers will quickly find themselves rooting these two on as fate throws them a few surprises along the way before giving them an ending that put a smile on my face.
Brody’s the charming and playful young brother who wears his wealth as easily as a coat, the brother who wants for nothing but love and acceptance after a lifetime of being ignored by parents who only reach out to him when his brothers don’t answer. On the surface Brody appears happy and carefree, but inside he’s feeling lost and unsatisfied. He’s looking for something that’s just his, something separate from his brothers, which is how he ends up becoming a Big Brother to a charming little boy. He also ends up closer to Emma, the young woman he can’t get off his mind in a journey that sees them going from reluctant (on her part) friends to lovers. Through it all I fell even more fully for Brody as his kind heart always shown bright as he was quick to lend help before even being asked. His interactions with Emma endeared him to me with each turn of the page as sweet and flirty friendship led to more sizzling exchanges. For Brody, all he wanted was the love and attention of Emma and set out to get just that in this gem of a romance!
Emma’s the kind of heroine you can’t help but admire. She’s hard working with a big heart that she gives freely to others….others except Brody Temple as she thinks he’s nothing more than an uncaring rich boy. Her feelings are a bit understandable though considering he and his brothers had a hand in kicking her brother out of their fraternity for his increasingly nasty behavior. The fraternity’s actions were justified but love for her brother Crush has her defending him repeatedly. In this story Crush has returned from rehab and is living with Emma and it’s yet another hardship she has to deal with. Money’s always been tight for her and Crush and him moping around at home and not working means things are even more of a struggle. She finds out she’s not alone though as Brody barrels his way into her life, supporting her when she needs it most, in a connection that slowly grew deeper over time. She might’ve thought Brody was her opposite early on but seeing them together makes it clear how good they are together and how alike they are when it comes to their giving natures. If anyone’s deserving of a HEA it’s these two and as I turned each page I became even more invested in them and was rooting for them every step of the way.
On a whole this was a sweet and sensual romance with only a bit of angst added to keep me captivated. The friends to lovers theme was a deliciously charming slow burn too that endeared both Emma and Brody to me. Along with crackling encounters between these two there were numerous exchanges that made me smile too in a romance that was thoroughly engaging. Along with this delightful main couple were reappearances by the other Temple brothers and their significant others. I loved seeing them, getting an update of their HEAs, and really loved the familial vibe between all of them. Despite their issues with Crush they wholeheartedly embraced Emma as one of them and it made me want to be part of their group too. Though this book stands strongly on its own I recommend reading the whole series in order so you can see where each brother came from emotionally and see the groundwork laid for what I hope becomes a spin-off series featuring Crush and Papi. Both men are a bit broken, definitely bruised, and both have left me wanting to see more of them. Here’s hoping that Ms. Lopez doesn’t leave me hanging for too long as I’ll be counting down the days until we revisit these characters.
This book put me out of my book funk! I loved it, it was so different and refreshing, I read it in one sitting because it was simply amazing, I need more from this Frat house!
I received a free ARC of this book and am writing my honest opinion.
Ah, Brody. The youngest Temple brother (and my most favorite). I was so glad to get his book!
Brody is a sweetheart under his rich-boy exterior. He wants to do good and help others and finds a kindred spirit in Emma. Brody works hard to change Emma’s perception of him. Will she give him a chance to do that?
Bethany Lopez never disappoints with her story lines or characters. She always delivers fully developed characters who the reader connects with. Her books stay with you long after you have read the last page.
Really great series! The characters are funny, sweet, loving and charismatic. I really enjoy the banter between the characters. Definitely a great story.
I absolutely loved this book! Brody won me over for sure! Although resistive in the beginning, Emma was won over in the end. It was great to catch up with old characters and witness the slow, sweet seduction to a happy ever after!!
The youngest Temple finally gets his own story!!
I have loved Brody since meeting him in A Splash of Vanilla, his sister Drew’s book. He’s funny but he’s also so caring and an all-around good guy. Emma is driven and doesn’t just drop at Brody’s feet. I loved how these two challenged each other. Their chemistry is explosive.
I’m so excited for more Frat House Confessions. I can’t wait to come back to Delta!!
The next installment in Frat House Confessions, Brody, is another fantastic romance. Brody & Emma are sooooo good together. The chemistry is smokin’ hot & you’ll be rooting for them every step of the way. Brody’s heart of gold behind the playboy façade will have you swooning.
Brody Temple…..How I love u.
I don’t know what it is about the youngest brother he truly captured my heart. He and Emma truly compliment each other. AND I loved how easily Emma fit right with Trixie and Karrie.
I have really enjoyed this series. Brody is the youngest brother of Wes and Ridge who are all now at the same university and in the same fraternity. I loved Brody. I think he is the kindest and most giving of the three brothers. Even though he is filthy rich, Brody has a heart for giving and understanding people’s feelings. I think a lot of that has to do with how he was ignored by his mother and father growing up. I did not like his parents through the other two books and this book just reinforced my feelings. Brody and Emma are so good together. They both have a heart for giving. I admire Emma for wanting to be a social worker and donating so much of her time to the community. I was so glad to see that Crush (who’s is Emma’s brother) is doing so much better. I admire all the three brothers for being there for each other. This book made me feel good. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
This was a pretty quick moving book. Brody and Emma’s relationship quickly developed from hate to love. (Well hate on Emma’s part). Once she realize she has Brody pegged wrong and they are actually more similar than not she decides to give him a chance. It’s a cute book with no drama and Brody is a a really good guy. I love the relationship he has with his brothers and sisters and despite not having the best childhood they are determined to be close and take care of one another. This is the third book in the series and while it is a stand alone I do suggest reading the other books just to get to know all the backstory and the other characters better.
* I did receive a free advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review *
I love this series from Bethany! And Brody will not disappoint you! 5 frat stars for this one!
In this story we have Emma, sister of ex frat member Crush, and Brody, the baby of the Temple boys. You will fall in love with them, as Brody tries to get Emma to be his! Read along and enjoy their story, I sure did!
Bethany is rocking the Frat House series, and I’m looking forward to more with them from her! Make sure you grab this one as soon as you can! Enjoy!
