The Talon Pack continues with a dark secret that could shatter the future of the Packs, or save them all. Parker Jamenson is the son of three Packs, the sole mediator between every Pack in the United States and Europe, and…he’s dying. He knows he doesn’t have much left in him and is in desperate need of a mate. But with the new and unyielding changes thanks to the Moon Goddess, he might not have … Goddess, he might not have as much time as he thinks.
Brandon Brentwood is the Omega of the Talon Pack and the youngest of his family. He’s not only one of the famed triplets; he’s also the most secretive. There’s a good reason for that, however, and when a shocking revelation meshes the past and present in a very unexpected way, he’ll look to not only Parker but also a disgraced human to save them all.
Avery Montag knows she’s the daughter of a traitor and doesn’t have much to give the wolves in the way of atonement. But she’ll do everything she can to pay for her father’s sins and find a way to end the war between the humans and the wolves.
When the three turn to each other in a time of unrest and for vastly different reasons, temptation burns and seduction beckons. Only, the past, present, and future are never as solid as they seem, and the path the trio thought to travel may just vanish before they’re ready.

I was expecting high emotions, books with Omega’s always have the extra umph because of who they are and what they do. This triad brought extra on top of that, because of all that was happening to them, had happened to them, and what they expected from the future. Of course I ended the book in tears, but also hope for the future. Pretty much the same as our triad, as they completed this moment in their lives, and prepared for whatever is going to happen to them next!
This is quite the exciting story! I wondered how Avery would be with the packs because of you know….her dad. She sure showed strength walking up to their barriers. There is drama, jealousy and another force of evil comes to the front in this story. Of course there is a beautiful triad born among all the chaos.
I love how the mating bond has changed because of what has happened in the pack previously. That shows nice growth and change throughout the story.
I listened to this on audio. Gregory Salinas does a wonderful job narrating this series for Carrie Ann Ryan.
Audible.
This is my first book by Carrie Ann Ryan and first time listening to Gregory Salinas. I was little nervous coming into the middle of a series, but I jumped at the chance to enter a giveaway for a new MMF book and was super excited to win. This will NOT be my last Ryan book and I’ll definitely look out for Salinas as a narrator in the future.
This book stood on it’s own fine, but I think I definitely would have enjoyed it more if I’d listened to the rest of the series. There were a LOT of people to keep straight, but Ryan provided enough info that I wasn’t lost but still intrigued enough to go back and listen to their stories. Which I will be starting soon because the intro novella is in Audible Escape & the first 3 books can be purchased in a box set for a single credit!
FYI ~ This *is* MMF. So there are scenes between individual pairs as well as all 3 together. I liked that there were several sex scenes but it wasn’t the only element in the relationship/bond between Parker, Brandon, & Avery nor did it overshadow the story as a whole.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review.
All of the Redwood/Talon Pack books have been fabulous, and Fractured Silence just takes it to the next level. All of the angst and fight from previous books come to a head and the wolves are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Avery is such a wonderful character and accepts everything with such grace! Brandon and Parker and Avery are an amazing supportive family and I can’t wait to see more of them. The glimpses we see of previous characters, both Redwood and Talon, make me want to do a re read of all the stories, right from the beginning! All in all, a great read, building on an amazing supernatural world. Just one more reason Carrie Ann Ryan is one of my favorite authors!
I love this series!
