Who knew hiding from a pandemic would be easier than hiding from the man you despise?
A forced emergency landing in the middle of nowhere forces Kate Bourke and Josh Thompson into quarantine for the next two weeks.
Stuck in a tiny hotel room, there’s nowhere to hide from Josh, the man that stole her job and gives her hate glares each time she walks into a room, who makes her blood heat … hate glares each time she walks into a room, who makes her blood heat and her heart slam in her chest.
Locked together in close proximity, his distant façade begins to crack, and what spills out threatens to consume them both.
Fractured lives are not easily repaired, but sometimes breaking, leaves you more whole than ever.
Fractured is a Standalone isolation lockdown romance and an Enemies to Lovers Romance full of emotional angst.

This was better than I anticipated. I loved the chemistry between Kate and Josh.
I recommend this book if you wanted to read something light, sassy and steamy.
Another GREAT ONE BY J.A.!!! I am hooked again to another amazing story, Now why couldn’t my quarantine have been that Steamy?!?! Without all of the other stuff I Loved the animosity. Between Josh and Kate, the heart break, The drama, the hate to Love effect J.A. Loves to Add in her lines in this book makes you feel. Like you are actually in the book with her characters, then again she does that IN ALL OF HER BOOKS Let’s not forget the Sexual Tension and steamy scenes!!! This book had me from the start. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND JOSH AND KATES STORY!!!
This book was seriously hot! I had a hard time at the beginning. I liked Kate and Josh. I liked the setting in a hotel room where neither was familiar. I like anti-heroes that are hard to crack and Josh was all that. I really dont like short books. The story ends too fast and I don’t feel fulfilled. I didn’t like reading a book where I have to read a book in the plot.
Fractured was not what I had anticipated it to be. I honestly thought great Wynters is going to lock two people in a room together and its just going be all S.E.X but that wasn’t the case. Okay, there are plenty of steamy scenes, I me plenty. But Wynter’s created a plot and twist I hadn’t expected.
What ultimately drew me into wanting to read was the hope of the enemies to love trope. I mean that is pretty much a given with the synopsis stating “His distant facade begins to crack, and what spills out threatens to consume them both.” wait, I guess the story could have went down the crime route as well. Needless to say it does not.
I enjoyed the back and forth relationship, the boss & employee, enemies to lover aspects. The day to day mundane activities such as coffee, TV and sleep also gave you more of sense that this is not just meant to be a heat fest erotica. And even the romp fest was removed I still think there would be a pretty solid book there.
The four stars was because I still didn’t quite understand Josh. I felt much of the story was given from Kate POV and I would have loved to had it a little more balanced.
So, initially, I wasn’t sure I wanted to read about quarantine with all the real world crud going on. But, that only sets the stage for a steamy hate-fest! Lol. Forced to finally talk to each other, Kate and Josh vacillate between hating each other and seeing the actual person on the other side of their hate! Their chemistry and sexual tension is undeniable and truths unfold! This was a quick and easy read with a different perspective on real world issues! I really enjoyed the book and their story. Would definitely recommend!
