I’ve never needed anyone, but I need him.
I love her. I’ll always love her.

This series is so many things. It’s a stray from the usual laugh-out-loud humor that Max Monroe stimulates us with. This story is mystery, intrigue, shock, heartbreak, and tickles your obsession about morbid curiosity. Stone, Cold, Fox was ultimately the opposite of what I was expecting, that it intensified the reading experience. I became a part of this story. I became so invested in these characters that it is so hard to let them go. Since this is about murder, mystery, loss, and love, I don’t want to give anything away. However, if you enjoy getting into an intriguing novel that embraces the intensity of its characters, read this immediately.
It is so different from their normal writing style.
I love their writing style for this trilogy.
It was great to see how these characters were developing over these three books.
Levi, became such a protector. He could totally relate to Ivy and helped her through such a traumatic time.
Ivy, also helped Levi grow as he had to come to grips with the demons in his past.
As they navigate through their past they find themselves in each other.
Bravo well done!
NO SPOILERS!
Fox was a BRILLIANT conclusion to the Stone Cold Fox trilogy, and I absolutely loved it with all of my heart! This trilogy took me on an epic roller coaster ride of emotions, and Max Monroe completely blew me away and healed my heart with Fox. It was a magnificent way to end Levi and Ivy’s story, and I couldn’t have loved it more. The Stone Cold Fox trilogy has been one of my favorite works from Max Monroe so far, and I will never, ever forget it!
The storyline was phenomenal and everything I hoped it would be and more. Even though Max Monroe broke my heart and put me and my emotions through the wringer on multiple occasions throughout this trilogy, they pieced it back together in some of the best ways possible. Fox wasn’t as edgy and exciting as the previous two books, but it was just as entertaining and enjoyable. The conclusion to Levi and Ivy’s story, though not easy by any means, was extraordinary and made me and my heart so freaking happy it could’ve burst with joy.
The characters completely stole my heart. Levi and Ivy were exceptional, and I couldn’t have loved them more. Levi was an amazing hero. He was a total swoon-fest in this book, and I loved how much he cared for and loved Ivy. He was a good man to the core and I couldn’t help but adore him. Ivy was an excellent heroine. She was strong and independent, and my heart broke over what she had gone through. She toughed it out, though, and Levi was right by her side through all of the ups and downs they both endured. Levi and Ivy have been some of my favorite characters from Max Monroe so far, and I absolutely loved going on their journey with them in the Stone Cold Fox trilogy. Although it was difficult and hurt my heart at times, all of it was completely worth it in the end.
Fox was a sexy, emotional, and heartbreaking yet beautiful conclusion to Levi and Ivy’s story, and I would HIGHLY recommend it and the entire Stone Cold Fox trilogy! Max Monroe blew me away with this romantic suspense series, and I was beyond happy with the outcome to Levi and Ivy’s story. It was a memorable and unforgettable experience, and I loved it so much!
4 1/2 out of 5 stars
This is the conclusion of Ivy & Levi’s story and it was exactly what I think I needed to make their story feel whole. Without giving away much, just know that they have both been through hell and stand by each other at the worst of times.
There were a couple of twists that I guess I should have seen coming, but didn’t. HOWEVER, I loved every second of their story and fell further in love with Levi as I read. How can you not when he has some of the best one-liners in fiction:
“A house is just a ****ing house, baby. You’re my home.”
“It’s your world, baby. I’m just thankful you let me live in it.”
Max Monroe is known for their rom-coms, but they can do some drama well, too. This story captured me from book one and I’m so thankful that I got to read all of them. I think Levi & Ivy will cross my mind with a great deal of frequency as I leave their book behind.
*** I voluntarily read a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ***
This book was the best ending to a series so many feels! This series left you crying laughing on the edge of your seat hoping for more and Max Monroe didn’t disappoint!
This picks up right where Cold ended and you know it was a must to read this because that ending left me so sad.
Don’t miss this epic ending and see where the feels take you!
OMFG what a beautiful beautiful ending to this unforgettable Triology. Ladies, Max Monroe has given us such captivating, Thrilling, Beautifully Written story.
Characters that go through such heartache and and anger and hatred. Only to end up with a once in a lifetime love story.
If you haven’t read this Triolgy yet please do now. You in for such a treat. It’s a rollercoaster ride in every book.
This book had me tears and heartbreak. Then all you feel is love and happiness.
Levi is a Swoonfest from the start of this book. You fall so inlove with him, his strength and his unconditional love of Ivy.
Grab this Triolgy it’s one that will turn it world upside down…
Enjoy!!!!
What a great ending to this trilogy! We were left off with one heck of a cliffy in the last book so I couldn’t wait to dive in to this one. Man oh man, Ivy and Levy have gone through a ton of drama and pain to last them a lifetime. It’s great to see them get through all of it, heal, and just start living their lives and just being together. The last half is just so sweet. These two are just so dang cute together. What a great trilogy, I enjoyed the hell out of it!
5 Their Love Lets Them Survive Everything Stars!!!
Everything comes full circle for Ivy and Levi in this last book of this amazing trilogy! I remember thinking to myself after that cliffie at the end of book two can they actually survive what they’ve just been through and come out on the other side in one piece and as much in love as they were?
The answer is a resounding YES!! This book completes this crazy journey that Max and Monroe took us on with this series. It’s darker than what we’re used to buy by god they pulled it off. The suspense had me biting my nails, the surprises that we learn had me gasping and the romance between our H/h had me swooning, laughing and yes, even crying at times.
In this book, there are even more surprises but in only the best ways. Watching Ivy lean on Levi at some of her most desperate moments just made me love him that much more. There’s so much love in this book and while we get the answers we were looking for, it definitely is a book that brings everything full circle.
The fact that Max and Monroe stepped out of their comfort zone….or did they really since we don’t know who’s behind this duo, has been such an amazing experience as a reader because I fell in love with their writing all over again. If you haven’t experienced this trilogy, do so now and settle in for a romantic suspense trilogy that’s underlying emotion is love!
Phew . . . I just finished Fox, the fantastic third and final book in the Stone Cold Fox Trilogy and O.M.G. Fox picked up right where Cold left me hang— . . . err . . . left off. And took off running!
I was really impressed with how Levi and Ivy reconnected . . . that Levi wasn’t going to let Ivy go . . . that he was going to prove that he would always be there for her regardless of the circumstances. And god, Ivy. Man . . . she broke my heart and Levi helped put both Ivy and me back together.
The road to their “happily ever after” was not straight, it was windy and sometimes completely blocked. But, man, it was so worth it in the end. I loved my time with Levi and Ivy and Fox was just the perfect ending to their story.
Fox, the final book in the Stone Cold Fox trilogy, gave me so much more than I could have hoped for, in the conclusion to Ivy and Levi’s story. After that heartbreaking cliffhanger Max and Monroe left us with at the end of Cold, I can honestly say I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, only that I knew I needed Ivy and Levi to somehow make it through all the heartache in one piece. And well, I hoped I was going to make it through in one piece as well!
What a wild ride of emotions this book took me on. Definitely a lot more ups than downs, but my goodness! There were happy tears and there were sad tears. It really was the perfect conclusion to what has been such a truly captivating series. As Ivy dealt with the loss of her sister, Levi was her rock. Even when life threw an unexpected curveball his way, he stood strong for Ivy, giving her his strength, showing her that no matter what came at them they would weather through it together. And together, they did. From enemies to lovers, to becoming a strong and loving couple, Levi and Ivy endured so much to get to a happy place. While nothing will ever be the same for either of them, I loved seeing them lean on each other and share the burdens of grief. And as life moved on and they learned to deal with their new normal, I couldn’t have been more happy.
Levi Fox has firmly cemented himself as book boyfriend material. He made a good play for it in Stone and Cold, but after finishing the heart-wrenching and life-affirming Fox, I can safely say there’s no doubt about it, he is true bbf material.
Man! This book!! Book 3 of the trilogy. Had me laughing and crying. Great series!

Mary Jo –
Levi Fox has had to live through many tragedies in his life and this one is even more devastating than the last. Levi not only witnessed the blow that lead to the death of Ivy’s sister, but also fired the shot that killed the person who dealt it. With their blood on his hands, he’s tried to console Ivy, to be her rock, to be her everything.
Ivy is lost. Nothing makes sense. The death of her sister because of her. Because a madman stalked her. Because a madman that Cam was her. The guilt is overwhelming Ivy and if it weren’t for Levi she knows she would crumble and fall.
As Ivy learns to live with the grief and let the guilt go, Ivy and Levi’s relationship grows stronger.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can’t wait to see what else Max and Monroe will deliver.

This is the final book in the trilogy and there is NO doubt that you have to read them all in order! In fact, if you have not read them yet, then you are in a way lucky to not have to wait for them all to be available, as the tension is high.
Do make sure you have a hanky to hand, as this starts with the outcome of the previous book’s nightmare being revealed. I never believe that totally bad things can happen in romance novels, but maybe I shall have to be more cautious of thinking that in future. The devastation caused by Ivy’s stalker is far reaching. Thankfully Levi and Ivy are solid. His experience with Grace’s death and his general good nature, and adoration of Ivy give us hope that the end of this book will finally be good.
Even amongst the sadness, and the crazy, there are some moments of lovely humour and glimmers of hope. There is also plenty of passion and caring, along with some beautiful surprises.
Thank you, Max Munroe. I shall be reading the trilogy again all in one go sometime soon, possibly when I can afford to buy some more tissues – for reasons happy and sad!

After the ending of book two, I seriously had no idea what Max Monroe had in store for Levi and Ivy in the final book of the series. I was hesitant to begin because I already knew that Ivy’s world was going to be rocked just as painfully as Levi’s was all those years ago when he lost someone who meant everything to him, and I just didn’t see Ivy being able to come back from that kind of loss, especially given the reflection that stares back at her every time she looks in the mirror.
Max Monroe illustrates Ivy’s emotional instability in a way that resonates from the pages. Ivy lives and breathes grief and guilt on a daily basis, not knowing how to heal her wounds or how to stop the pain and heartbreak from eating her alive, and even though Levi is ‘well-versed’ in trauma and loss and stands by her side regardless of the hits he keeps taking, Ivy’s still not coping well, even if she has no choice but to survive.
I love how steadfast Levi is throughout FOX. In the first two books, he seemed to be more of a wildcard than Ivy, which makes sense given the nature of why Ivy came to Cold, Montana, in the first place, but in book three, Levi’s strength never waivers…his love for Ivy stands strong. He refuses to let Ivy push him away; in his mind, it’s him and her against everyone and everything else, and it’s his protective nature…his strong shoulders…his knowledge of what it takes to endure that helps Ivy to cope…to heal…to live.
Ivy and Fox have both been through more trauma than most, so the fact that Max Monroe doesn’t create even more devastating circumstances in book three allows the couple’s focus to turn more towards coping and living instead of simply existing, and as long as they keep fighting together, keep moving forward instead of backwards, keep standing as a united front and healing wounds with love and comfort, they’ll get through it all and be the person who holds the other one together regardless of what comes their way.
Max Monroe’s Stone Cold Fox Trilogy is different than what their readers are used to, but the fact that they created such a complex, intriguing, suspenseful, and dramatic series – one that captures readers’ attention and never lets go, speaks to the kind of diversified writer Max Monroe is and proves that their skills are not limited to only sexy and comedic storylines.
4.5 Poison Apples
Who else screamed and cried within the first few pages of this book?
I know after COLD’s cliffhanger it’ll be difficult to process the events. The starting of this book is even more hurtful but man it is so bloody worth it.
I was so sure Levi’s development couldn’t get any better but trust Max Monroe to make it 10 times better. I swooned so damn hard throughout the book because seriously Levi is MCM everyday of the year. This man deserves to be on international advertisements for ideal boyfriend. Y’all aren’t even ready for how perfect Levi turned out. *ugly crying*
I feel like I’ve aged 10 years trying to read this trilogy cuz this is the motherload of angst. if anyone asks me about what I think angst and delicious conflict is, I will be directing them towards this series because this is where it’s all at. This series is the shit and I kid you not, Max Monroe are my forever favourite. I’ll read whatever the hell they’ll write and I won’t even care if it’s just their grocery list.
just do yourself a favour and read this bloody trilogy. I am so freaking in awe of everything STONE COLD FOX and I’ll be thinking about this gem for years and years.
Fox is the last book in the Stone Cold Fox Trilogy by Max Monroe. Ivy and Levy are back, and they take turns being the glue that holds each other together. This book will give you so many feels … from sadness to laughter to so much joy! You will love how Max Monroe wrapped up this Series!!! Seriously, you will!
I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book but I still bought the book. It was that good!
FOX – Max Monroe – 5 STARS
The 3rd book is finally here.
And it starts right where we left them in book #2.
That idiot movie producer killed the cop sent to watch over Ivy and Camilla and then he wanted to kill Ivy. Which he didn’t, but he got to Camilla.
And now Ivy and Levi have to deal with … life. With everything ‘after’.
And Ivy is not doing so great.
Eeeep – book #3
Finally!!!! It feels like years since we’ve read book #2 – even though it was just 4 weeks or so
But now we’re finally back with Levi and Ivy. For the final time!!!
And book #3 was just as amazing as the first ones.
It was not so much a real story – it was more of an epilogue kind of thing in my opinion.
We get to see how Ivy deals after what happened and how she doesn’t do so well with everything.
And how Levi doesn’t give up. He’s with her every single second. Keeping watch. He’s just there. Patient, Loving. Taking every insult and angry word she throws at him. He’s just amazing. I would almost say he’s too perfect in this third book. But what else is he going to do? Leave? He loves Ivy more than life and he just hopes that she’ll get better with time.
And of course she does and then the next ‘thing’ or rather .. THINGSSSS happen!
And Levi is even more supportive. He’s just so perfect!
Amazing finale for this great series.
I think those three books could’ve been turned into only 2 with a few bits cut out here and there – BUT I really enjoyed reading it – it was an amazing trilogy.
Exciting. Mysterious. Hollywoody. Funny. Sexy. Moving. Sad. Sweet. Adorable.
Just amazing!
I really need Netflix to come and make a thing out of Levi & Ivy!!!!
FOX was an amazingly beautiful finale for this exciting & adorable & sexy & funny & moving & snowy Hollywood-Montana romance trilogy! Hurry to your nearest amazon asap – LEVI FOX will be sold out in no time!!!
What a beautiful finale for the Stone Cold Fox Trilogy!!! After reading the first two books I was not sure where Max Monroe would take us. Both Levi and Ivy have been struck with unimaginable tragedy. Fox takes us on Ivy’s journey as she picks up the pieces of her broken heart. Levi was so supportive and sweet as he helped the woman he loves grieve the loss of a loved one. To see this side of him (especially with how he treated Ivy when he first met her) was amazing. He was such a jerk, but you could see underneath the anger and sadness was a great guy. I loved how he took every angry word Ivy threw at him and absorbed it, but yet pushed her when she needed that push. I loved how he loved her through it all until she was finally able to find her happiness again. After years of pushing everyone away, Levi finally met his match in Ivy. Once he let himself love again, it was beautiful. He and Ivy prove they can weather any storm when they navigate the storm together!
L-O-V-E-D!!!!! This was a fabulous end to an awesome series. Levi and Ivy definitely brought it all home in this one. Be prepared for some tears and a book hangover.
Fox is the third and final installment in this trilogy. Books #1 and #2 left us on major cliffhangers so to finally get our hands on the last book was awesome. For those of you who haven’t started this trilogy, you have the benefit of reading them all at once without having to wait for the next one to come out. This is not a standalone. You HAVE to read all three, and in order.
If you’re a fan of Max Monroe’s other books, I’ll warn you that this is a major departure from their usual genre. This trilogy has ALL the feels. It’s not a romantic comedy. It’s a drama. It has angst, anger, love, suspense, danger, sadness, devastation, healing and again, LOVE. This will suck you in, shatter you and put you back together. This is so well written and you will love these characters. You won’t want their story to end.
I won’t be more specific about this book or the trilogy because I don’t want to give anything away. Just know that this is one of those really well written stories with well developed characters that will leave you with a massive book hangover. I will say this: This is the best non-comedic story I’ve read all year. It is a 5 star read that I truly cannot recommend enough.
*4 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
Fox is the final book in the Stone Cold Fox trilogy by Max Monroe, and the one we have all been waiting for, after that cliff hanger of ending in Cold.
We pick up with Ivy and Levy after those horrible events, and we watch as the story unfolds and everyone deals with the fallout of such tragedy.
I enjoyed this book, but it didn’t pack the same punch for me as the first two did. I think because this one is more about moving on moving forward, rather than the intense connection between Levy and Ivy. For me, this was a much lighter read.
Don’t get me wrong, its emotional in parts, but it lacked the same intensity as the first two books. I think it was written really well and in such a way that we could all deal with the characters and what had previously transpired.
Levy was fantastic in this book, if at times a little too easy compared to what we’re used to from him. But he’s exactly what Ivy needs, and one of the few people around her who can totally understand what she’s going through.
There are a few little surprises along the way, one of the bigger ones was dealt with fairly swiftly, and possibly could have developed a bit more, but I understood the reasoning behind it being a cut and dry aspect of the book. The main surprise in this book, brings everything together really nicely, and is the perfect ending for these two characters and the perfect way to help them heal.
All in all I think this was a good way to end this trilogy and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I loved this change of pace in stories for Max Monroe and I hope that they write more books like this in the future.
