Every book in this series is a must read.
This is the first book from this series that I have read. Missing background information about the characters and some of the previous adventures that were mentioned did not keep me from enjoying the book. Once I passed chapter 4, I was able to understand some of the things I was missing. This was a good read and the characters were very enjoyable. I think that Agnes is a hoot.

Fowl Campaign was an amazing book. Once again we find Flo and Agnes at another crime scene. You’ll have to read for yourself how Agnes blunders the scene. It was hilarious! I loved the mystery surrounding the murder. Thankfully, TC is back and adds another great dynamic. There are a host of suspects and every turn seems to make each seem guilty. Danger threatens Flo around every corner but with the help of her friends they all make it, all be it a little beat up, and solve the case. Sam has written another amazing book that I couldn’t put down once I started! Great job once again!!

You just want to read this funny story to see Flo and her friends investigate the murder of the campaign candidates to see who dun it – and see what hijinks they get into why solving the crime. It’s a fun time to be had.
Sam Cheever’s done it again, another hilarious, action packed mystery. Ms. Cheever’s vivid descriptions of people and places has you feeling like you are right alongside our heroes. Her stories will keep you entertained, laughing, on the edge of your seat and returning for more of her books.
Fowl Campaign is the first Silver Hills series that I’ve read and even though it is the eighth installment in the series it reads well as a stand alone novel. The characters are thoroughly entertaining. This is definitely a laugh out loud page turner.
Flo and Agnes are senior citizen sleuths solving mystery and mayhem in their their senior and singles community, and maybe causing some along the way. The residents and staff include some zany, caring and even a few demented individuals.
Flo and Agnes are the perfect friends because they complement each other so well and are so completely loyal to each other – unfortunately they just can’t seem to keep each other out of trouble. When they find one of the candidates for Mayor horribly murdered, they are off and running. Poor Agnes, the more she tries to be careful, the more she stumbles — over, in and through the crime scene.
While interviewing and following clues, Flo and Agnes manage to keep up with their social obligations. I hope you don’t have any injured ribs when you read about the bowling tournament.
This five-star story warms up then hits the door running. Get ready for for some fast paced action with story twists and turns and laughs until the last page.

This is the eighth book in the Silver Hills Cozy Mysteries series, but if you haven’t any of the first seven, this one will still make sense. Silver Hills is a two-sided condo community: retirees on one side and younger people on the other, and everyone mixes freely in the common areas. Flo, Agnes, TC and Celia are retirees with a knack for solving murder and other problems. Flo hears through the grapevine that Dave Potts, a mayoral candidate, needs her help. She and her crew go to his house to talk to him, only to find him dead.
I will definitely read more in the series. The characters are quirky and people I would love to know. In fact, Silver Hills sounds like a place I’d like to live. There are some laugh-out-loud moments, especially the descriptions of poor Agnes debauching crime scenes, which she is wont to do. The plot was believable, the dialog strong and the story interesting. I really liked it.

A race to become Mayor of Silver Hills get is Flo and Co. latest case. You really must read this book! It is written so painfully funny! I have read other books by this author but not this series. I have to re-think my TBR list to add this series in it! Can Flo and Co. find the killer or will he or she fly south for the winter, to never be seen again? I would like to thank Booksprout for a free copy of this book. I gladly voluntarily reviewed it.
A giant chicken, a man murdered like a chicken and Agnus….poor clumsy Agnus! Good thing Flo and TC are so patient. This is another great read and I highly recommend getting it!

Murder on the Chicken Farm
In this cozy mystery, the vampire is running for mayor, the animal rights activists are causing trouble at the chicken farms and there is a grisly murder to solve. This series is so cute and funny! The paranormal vibe works surprisingly well in small town Indiana. This is the eighth book in the series and it stands alone pretty well. I think it would be better to have read the whole series. I received the ARC of this book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
