Exiled society princess Francine Hayward Duvall has learned to stand on her own two feet in the Alpha colony hiding in plain sight in Alienn, Arkansas. It helps that the residents don’t give a hoot about who she used to be, only who she is. She’s a hard-working supermarket clerk who takes pride in earning her way. There’s really only one thing missing from her new life. Ichor-Delta bounty hunter … bounty hunter Luther Raphael Boudreaux left his family and all the royal trappings behind long ago and is fully aware that there’s no place for a woman in the nomadic lifestyle of his chosen career. He never expected his heart to be captured by a certain sweet redhead with nothing more than a look.
When Raphael offers to help Francine attend her sister’s wedding on Ichor-Delta, by posing as her fiancé, she jumps at the chance. In return, she’ll give the charming bounty hunter the cover he needs to help a friend in trouble. And if she can indulge in a little romance—or more—so much the better.
Francine might think he’s doing her a favor, but as far as Raphael is concerned, she is the one for him. He’ll go to any lengths to convince her that their adventure doesn’t have to end.
It’s only the beginning.

I had a great time with these characters they are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed so good that it had me turning the pages. The alien marries the human…..

Fun, fun book!! Every part of this book was fun. From the first cute/meet of Francine and Raphael (his first name is really Luther) to the madcap adventures they have on the way to an HFN! Just a really good snarky, action-packed, and fun to read aliens-on-earth romantic comedy!!

I loved this story! I have been a fan of this series since the beginning. I was thrilled to read Francine’s story finally. I have been hoping that she would get a chance at a happy ending since she was disowned by her parents. She loves her life in Alienn. She has been intrigued by Luther Raphael, the bounty hunter for a while. They meet up again and had a chance to explore their connection. Raphael as she calls him needs her help and she needs his help. He needs to see why a friend is in trouble and she wants to go see her sister’s wedding even though her parents want nothing to do with her. They agree on a fake engagement for their trip. Raphael is hoping to make this fake engagement into a real one. Will they have their chance to find true love and happiness?

And we’reback in Alienn, Arkansas for Francine’s and Luther’s story. This sci-fi/ paranormal series certainly holds the candle with each book. Funny, well-written, with action, suspense, mystery, difficult families, and love.

I really enjoy this series and it was wonderful to read this new story! Refusing an arranged marriage, Francine Hayward Duvall had been disowned by her family and made Alienn, Arkansas, her new home where she could start over. Maybe a supermarket clerk job isn’t glamorous, but she’s doing it all on her own and feels good about it.
Luther Raphael Boudreaux is an Ichor-Delta bounty hunter who has also left his family behind long ago. He’s successful and does not see a woman fitting into his solitary lifestyle. But he comes to Francine’s aid when she wants to go to her sister’s wedding on Ichor-Delta and expects trouble from her parents. Luther offers to pretend to be her fiancé and in return her presence there with him gives him a proper cover so he can help his friend. Although Francine is grateful for the favor he is doing for her, he has something else in mind! He needs to convince her that they don’t have to pretend. She is the one he wants in his life and he would love to make it a permanent arrangement!
The story line is wonderful and the characters are really sweet and likable. But who is giving them a hard time about their relationship? Why is someone trying to keep them apart? Grab your copy and enjoy the adventure! This will easily become one of your favorite series if it isn’t already!
The story line was great, the character work was terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series and kept me highly entertained from beginning to end.

This has been such a fun book to read! There is action, suspense, mystery and, of course, a sexy/sweet alien romance! I am going back to read the rest of the series!

Alienn Arkansas…
Francine Hayward Duvall relocated to Alienn Arkansas after being disowned by her parents for refusing an arraigned marriage. There she meets Luther Raphael Boudreaux, a bounty hunter from Ichor-Delta who can relate to her circumstances. They are a sweet couple that truly belong together. If only someone wasn’t trying to tear them apart…

It seems like I waited forever for this book, and it was well worth the wait. Fiona Roarke has created a great series in Alienn, Arkansas. I have loved each and every book I have read in this series, my only problem is they don’t come out fast enough, lol. Aliens and romance, whats not to like. Rapheal and Francine help each other, he acting as her fiance, and her giving him cover to help a friend, resulting in a forever romance.

I love visiting Alienn! Hiding in plain sight but fitting in perfectly with the humans. The characters are so much fun to read about. I like how we still get to have prior characters in each book. This was a twisty turning plot. I didn’t know what direction things were going to take, but it all climaxed wonderfully!

4 stars – It was really good
Exiled society princess Francine Duvall has learned to stand on her own two feet in the Alpha colony in Alienn, Arkansas. She is now a hardworking supermarket clerk who loves earning her own way. The only issue she has is that she can’t go to her sister’s wedding because of her parents. But the sexy Ichor-Delta bounty hunter Luther Raphael Bourdreaux may be able to help with that.
I am so glad that Francine was able to have a HEA! I loved how she stood up to her parents and schemed to get her sister Lucy to marry Axel instead of herself. Francine and Raphael were a very cute couple. I was surprised by how much I ended up loving Raphael. He was so protective and sweet towards Francine. He also didn’t have any problem bringing her onto a bounty hunter gig or taking her suggestions, which I love when a hero does.
One of the things that I really enjoyed in this book was that Raphael wasn’t an Alpha, he is Ichor-Delta so we got to learn more about a different alien species. I loved that he had super speed and made vampire jokes about it.
Overall, this was a wonderful addition to the series. I loved both characters and their fake engagement turned real. I really hope there are more books in this series because I am not ready to let the aliens of Alienn, Arkansas go.
Trigger Warnings: stalking, kidnapping
Our heroine wants to go to her sister’s wedding (on a far off planet), but she is kind of on the outs where her family. Queue our hero who offers her a way to help them both out. Of course, he might be hoping for more then just a one wedding stand.
This is book five of the series, but each book is written as a standalone. Feel free to start at any point.
This is something of a SF romance story, but I am pleased to say that does not do justice to this book. The book is well written and easy to read while packed with a lot of great humor and romantic elements as well. All with a great science fiction (light SF, not heavy duty stuff) background. The cast of characters was diverse, very interesting and lots of fun. I really liked that the focus was on the fun, not the romance itself. That just made it easier for things to happen at their own pace. Overall, it made for a highly enjoyable and rather addictive read. I hope to see more in this series in the future.
Highly recommended.

This is another great addition to this series set in Alienn, Arkansas. This one is still just quirky enough to keep you going, but as with all of the series, there is a good rom-com story. Francine and Raphael have been watching each other for a while before the story begins so when they finally meet the steam is already there. It is a sweet, sometimes exciting, and light story. Great for some relaxing reading.

Another Great Trip to Alienn, AR, and Beyond
I have read this series from the beginning and have enjoyed the quirky, funny, and typically Earth-based sci-fi romances. This book is no exception. What I particularly love about this series is the humor, which isn’t often well done in either romances or particularly science fiction, but the author manages to pull it off brilliantly. Compared to some other books in this series, this one felt more focused on the romance and the feelings of the couple; sometimes bigger themes have been at play in the series. From the beginning, they are seriously crushing on each other, though neither wants to admit as much out loud and has other reasons for not wanting to pursue romance at this time. Both the hero and the heroine felt believable and relatable, even though we have the speculative fiction/alien twist to the romance. The book has some common romance twists and turns, though the author does certainly give her own spin—and not just with the alien aspect. The book is so well written on several levels that it is just a pleasure to read. If the idea of a humorous sci-fi romance series interests you, I suggest you start this series at the beginning as I have found it to be an unparalleled delight, but you could start with this book, though you wouldn’t appreciate all the other awesome characters who make an appearance in this book that those of us who have followed the series from the beginning have come to know and love. Highly recommended book, highly recommended series!
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Francine worked hard to pay off the bill her parents sent for her abrupt, forced return transport from her sister’s wedding
Despite normally working nights she still managed to briefly meet the hunky Ichor-Delta body guard.
A repeat meeting would help change both their lives, but not without a bumpy route to get past globally sought felons, friends and family
Life in Alienn Arkansas is really out of this world!

Four weddings and an Alien, by Fiona Rourke is an entertaining, zany story. *Spoiler alert* Two people, disinherited from their families, find love together, with a twist. You can’t ask for more. I highly recommend this book! !

Entertaining and fun read! I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series, but I will now! Fully kept my interest the whole way through. The connection between Francine and Luther/Raphael was so sweet, and I loved how honest and straight forward they were with each other. Both were very likable characters that were easy to root for. There’s lots of fun things going on in this story to keep you turning the page; fake engagement, wedding drama, family drama, shape shifting bad guy breaking out of prison, and a friend in hiding after being accused of murder. Tons of entertainment going on in this book; loved the adventure! The only thing I wish was that Francine wasn’t so eager to get back in her parents good graces; she had a falling out with her parents because she wouldn’t marry who they wanted, so she’s been shunned. She should’ve held her ground more with them; also, her sister should’ve supported her more. Everything else was great! Looking forward to more from this author!
This is the story of Francine and Raphael. When she refused to marry the man her parents chose they shipped her off to Earth. Raphael has also been disowned by his royal family for similar reasons. There is definite chemistry between these two when they meet. She wants to attend her sister’s wedding and Raphael has a bounty to handle on her planet so he offers to be her fake fiancé so they can each get what they want. Easy, right? I enjoyed the action, intrigue, and romance in this fun, entertaining romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Four Weddings and an Alien
By Fiona Roarke
This is the first book I’ve ever read by Ms. Roarke, but it definitely won’t be the last! I’ve already bought the first book in the series (each is a standalone) and I’m looking forward to reading it.
The female protagonist is Francine Hayward Duvall, formerly of Alpha-Prime, before her parents disowned her because she refused to marry the man chosen for her by said parents. She switched places from bride to bridesmaid with her sister Lucy so that Lucy could marry the man she loved, who loved her in return. Francine wants to attend the wedding of her youngest sister, Prudence, on Ichor-Delta; however, the last wedding of one of her sisters that she attended, she was marched out of the reception by Guards and shipped off to Earth by her mother. To add insult to injury, her mother sent the rather hefty bill for the trip to Francine.
The male protagonist is Luther Raphael Boudreaux from Ichor-Delta. He’s a bounty hunter who was also banished from his family when he refused to marry the woman his father had chosen for him. He had met Francine earlier at a party and was waiting in the parking lot for her when she got off work at midnight. When Francine tripped over a black kitten in the parking lot, he caught her before she could hit the pavement. Since the two had secretly admired each other since they first met, they really hit it off together. When Luther, who Francine thought was more a Raphael than a Luther, was notified of a bounty on Ichor-Delta that he needed to handle, he suggested that the two of them enter into a fake engagement, which would allow Francine to attend her sister’s wedding on that planet.
This book was very well written and fun to read. It has action and romance, intrigue and drama, villains and shape-shifting aliens. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this offering by Ms. Roarke.
