Relationships are hard enough between two people…can the four of us make it work? Or is love nothing more than a four letter word?
Polyamory…the first time Riot says the word, it feels like everything slots into place. Maybe I’m not greedy for loving both of my best friends at once… but somehow a sexy bartender with a major sweet tooth is making it all seem possible.
Maybe Riot is right, our capacity for love is bigger than most people let themselves see. But will Leo and Hudson feel the same? Will they be willing to try to build this beautiful, complicated life with me?
If I can keep them from ripping each other’s heads off that is…
*** This is book two in the Love Logic series and can be read as a stand alone. This is a MMMM story full of love and heat.

I love poly romances in general, especially when they have more than three Ms. But when it’s written as well as this, where you feel all characters are fully fleshed out, and where the balance between all four is perfectly executed, it becomes a wonderful book in every sense. Great characters, good pacing, laughter and fun as well as angst and tension, and of course a very happy ending. Highly recommended.
This book is so awesome I’m not even sure I can make justice to it in a review. In each poly relationship there are obviously relationships within the group. I saw each of the couples relationships grow as pairs and as they all slowly fell in love with each other. If you think there’s isn’t such a thing as too much love then this book is for you.
Four Letter Word, was an amazing journey. An rollercoaster of emotions that made my heart swell with joy and envy!
Bishop, Hudson, Leo and Riot…omg! So perfect for each other. I loved how the author dwelled in the depths of a polyamorous relationship, and gave us POV from all four men. And brought us along, to experience this way of life, and see how heartwarming it can be!
“This whole situation is a little crazy, but for once it doesn’t feel like I’m trying to fit into a box I don’t belong in. I hardly know Riot, but being around him is the first time I’ve fully felt like myself in my whole life.”
I don’t know which one of the guys I like the best, they all have sides I like and they have flaws which makes them more real. They just fit so good together.
“Maybe that’s the thing I’ve had wrong this whole time – you can’t always plan for the things that will make you the happiest, you just have to let them come to you.”
If you’re not a fan of polyamorous relationships/ MMMM stories, you should try this one out anyway. Because, the author focus mostly on the four men getting to know each other (some of them need to get to know each other a new) and building a relationship one on one, and then slowly adding the rest.
And the bedroom activities…*fanning my self* let’s just say, you’re not going to be disappointed, that’s for sure!
Btw, the last sentence, before the epilogue, is sooo heartwarming ‘awww’!! Highly recommending this book!!
I was waiting for Bishop and Hudson’s book since I read Rocket Science and then I realised it was going to be an MMMM!!
I have never read an MMMM book before but K M Neuhold is queen of poly romances and I’m totally in love with all of them. They are all different and perfect together.
I loved seeing each of their dynamics, especially Hudson and Riot geeking out together or Leo and Hudson making ridiculous bets. Each of them has three boyfriends and each relationship is wonderful and different and all together they work so well.
This is book is multiple POV and much longer than Rocket Science. I love the book length because each of the relationships are fleshed out and it doesn’t feel rushed.
Also Riot with all the baked goods is adorable. If you love friends to lovers, a man with tattoos and piercings all over, ridiculous endearments, delicious pastries and all the smoking hot sex, then this book is totally for you!! And I cannot wait for Alex’s book!

This was my first poly romance and MMMM. I was excited to find out more about Bishop and Hudson’s issues after reading Rocket Science. And this one also brings in their old friend, Leo, and a bartender, Riot. Bishop is in a quandary because he loves both of his best friends and they now hate each other. He already has enough fears and insecurities, but trying to figure out how he is going to manage both Leo and Hudson now living in the same town is anxiety-inducing. Riot is new to Bishop’s life, but is easy-going and gives him some good advice…the whole polyamory idea.
Bishop is the glue for the whole scenario. He starts to become more confident, assertive, and open and begins to build relationships with all of the guys…and then they all started following suit. I liked how they all had different things in common and could get along in various pairs or eventually all four of them together. Most of the drama was in relation to communication and the old feud between Hudson and Leo. But as the dynamics kept changing and feelings kept growing, it really became a healthy and loving situation. They were really fun, sweet, and hot together.
I would like to see more from this world especially Alex and Theo.
This book is paced beautifully and introduces some complex relationships in a wonderfully mature and easily digestible manner.
Fantastic and realistic characters and situations all wrapped up with delightful dialogue and a series of events that keep you engaged.
A superb read – loved it!
An interesting look at the building of a polycule. I think what kept me from *loving* this book was:
1. This had a New Adult feel to it, rather than 30-somethings the guys were. I don’t know if it’s because so many of their issues originated in high school or the way they talked to each other – but I kept having to remind myself these weren’t 21 year olds.
2. Each character didn’t have a distinct “voice”. I often found myself scrolling back, trying to remember whose POV the chapter was from. Hudson, especially, changed from who he was in Rocket Science (book 1) and at the beginning of Four Letter Word. While it was explained that he was “putting up a front” – he became indistinguishable from Bishop, Leo, or Riot when thinking/speaking.
I also think a little more of the four of them together (not even talking sex here) would have made it feel less like an HFN. There was an epilogue, but something still felt incomplete about their relationship.
I’m definitely interested in Theo & Alex’s story though.
This book is a fun, sweet, relatively fast-paced romance that follows four men as they fall in love. Note that all of the characters ultimately fall in love with each other, forming a cohesive “polycule.” I particularly loved how the relationships enabled each character to grow in unexpected ways- as good relationships should! The only thing that saddened me about this book is that it was over too quickly. I would have loved to get more than a taste of each of the 6 unique relationships. That said, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read, and I highly recommend it!
KM Neuhold has a knack for writing interesting characters and sweet but not syrupy storylines. This book is a prime example. It’s the MMMM equivalent of a Hallmark movie and a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
My dream scenario, one sweet kind guy in the center, and friends slash a lot more, surrounded him, asking, longing, even yearning for his attention. They are all connected with Bishop. Bishop loves them, deeply, he thinks they see him as a good, always available, best friend with benefits.
So, what we got here is our sweet guy Bishop, then there is Hudson and Leo, later on, Riot, who always traveled around, adding to Bishop’s circle.
The very nice thing here is, even though Bishop is in the center, all the men have a story to tell. While Bishop longs to have all four together, Hudson and Leo have a huge issue to resolve!
What I so so loved about this story is the POV of all four men. That was the best!
The hesitation, the struggle, the realization, the jealousy, all their inner struggles and all in love with one and finally with all four.
First Bishop isn’t aware of that. He just wants to be loved, and none of them seemed to do that over the years.
But, what was needed the first years is now accelerating, Hudson and Leo are both on the edge to tell Bishop the truth.
“The heart is like a garden: the more flowers you plant, the more beautiful the bloom is.”
Imagine some sensual passionate lovemaking, beautifully and intensely written, gosh that was just hot and glorious.
What I greatly loved was that while reading I felt I had to reevaluate my very own feelings and ideas! First, I was comfortable because duh poly is fine for me, but the more complicated it got my feelings also got more complicated. I love such a challenge!
I felt all the feelings, sometimes awkward but always kind and honest.
This polycule (I learn new words every day while reading) is a delight, one of them shared his knowledge and that way seems to be working awesomely fine.
The build-up in this story was tremendously done. Also, there were never feelings of someone being left out.
When Bishop was happy, smiled, chuckled, snorted, or whatever I felt it in my chest just like the other three did. His charisma was everything!
One of these four guys is the glue to hold everything together, read it yourself and be amazed by this awesomely written, heartwarming polyamory which I loved so dearly!
For most of his life, Bishop has been in love with his two best friends. Neither knows as he keeps the truth to himself, seeing as there is no way he can choose between the two, he only dreams of being in a best friend sandwich. It isn’t until he meets Riot and while telling truths, that something is mentioned and suddenly Bishop feels like he has found the answer. But there is no way they would agree to this type of relationship… or is there?
K.M. Neuhold seems to always take us on a journey in her stories; a journey where she explores different life styles and proceeds to teach us about them. This has some major hot moments, as well as a bit of drama, not loads but enough to keep us interest. I give this 4 stars.
It’s hard to find words for this story. I mean first off, it’s excellent of course @kmneuhold is incredibly adept at making a seemingly impossible love story believable. I won’t get into the logistics of this beautiful and complicated relationship but rest assured it felt natural and glorious. Each of the men, Riot, Leo, Hudson and the central Bishop (we know Hudson and Bishop from the previous book, Rocket Science) are complex, realistic and vibrant. Appropriate time is spent in the perspective of each man so the reader can understand and enjoy how their love grows and the relationships come together. Seriously a fantastic book!
No spoilers of any kind included!
Four Letter Word was absolutely freakin amazing!
Heck plain and simple Love Logic series so far is amazing and addicting!
KM Neuhold is one fantastic story weaver, I’ve read and love all her books and I’m always impatiently waiting for more!
So I’m going to say YES I most definitely do recommend this book because I absolutely loved and I know you will too, but if you haven’t read Rocket Science then I highly suggest that you do that way you know who the characters are beforehand since that’s where some of them story started at.

Four Letter Word by KM Neuhold is the second book in the Love Logic series. This is a contemporary mmmm romance – four sexy and sweet men finding happiness and love together as they embrace their polyamorous love. The story is sweet, sexy and fun with just a taste of angst. I loved Hudson, Bishop, Leo and Riot… they are fantastic characters that really somewhere well. Definitely recommend.
There is nothing quite like reading about a couple falling in love, Now imagine it happening 4 times over! So many reasons why relationships shouldn’t work and only one person can make it all click. This was a fantastic book with unique characters that told a memorable story. A must read once again!
Man every book from KM Neuhold is an instant one click for me. The depth of the emotions and detail of Riot, Bishop, Leo and Hudson just draws you in. The way they build their friendships and are able to just explore what polyamory is, is truly beautiful.
