Wonderful story with real people.
Pleasant read. I liked the characters; the plot was okay; writing style better than I expected. A nice break from the biographies I often read.
This book had everything you could want in a good read
Can’t be be beat
Could hardly put down.
Just not great writing
The characters had flaws so there was a believability and vulnerability to them. I had a little trouble keeping the characters straight as their different ethniciyies played into the story line. It would help to get a good picture in your mind of each character (including skin color) at the beginning of the book in order to get the most out of the story.
I loved this book. Definitely out of my comfort zone reading. Great character development. Forgiveness and redemption are the main themes as far as I was concerned. Just a good book that really makes you think about life.
