A standalone romantic comedy of epically awkward proportions, from New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart.Imagine this. You’re ready to leave after a one-night stand, and you’re figuring out how to—shock horror—leave your number and ask him to be your fake boyfriend for your sister’s wedding this weekend. When he wakes up.Well, that happened to me. And over coffee and omelets, I found myself … omelets, I found myself a date.
Which was how I ended up arriving at the wedding with a guy I knew nothing about.
I didn’t know his last name, or how we met, or how long we’d been dating. I didn’t know where he grew up, what he’d majored in in college, or how many siblings he had.
I sure as hell didn’t know he was Adam Winters, hotshot hockey player—and not only my father’s favorite player, but my little nephew’s freakin’ idol.
Which means I’m in trouble. Big, big trouble.
My mother is suspicious, my sister is bridezilla on crack, and my grandpa will tell anyone who’ll listen about his time in Amsterdam’s Red Light District.
Four days.
I have to keep this up for four days, and then Adam and I can return to our regular lives, where we don’t have sex whenever we’re alone and my family aren’t interrogating him over his intentions with me.
At least, that’s the plan.
And we all know what happens to those.

***5 ‘Not Today, Satan’ Stars***
This was such a fun, smexy read!
(one which was definitelyneeded after experiencing a few highly angsty ones)
I found myself laughing out loud, sometimes with simultaneously cringing, at the snarky and antics of the various unique and colorful characters and falling in love with Poppy and Adam as they found that the ‘fake’ in their relationship wasn’t as fake as they’d thought it would be.
Poppy is a force to be reckoned with. With little, to no edit button, she lets you know exactly how she feels whether it be verbal or not. She’s snarky and stubborn and has a tendency to appear put out when dealing with certain people, but beneath all of that is a heart that cares, and cares deeply whether she admits it or not.
Adam was such a sweetheart, and I know that for some that description lands right next to being called a ‘nice guy’ on the continuum, but he really is. I loved his honesty and how he rolled with the punches, because there were A LOT of them, as if they were normal. He has a laid back kind of alpha thing going on with his determination and honesty and his charm was absolutely lethal.
Poppy and Adam’s ‘fake’ relationship was so much fun. It really was. It was sweet, smexy and was low on angsty drama, though it had a few touches here and there that not only touched my heart but had me growling a little in frustration a time or two. The connection between Poppy and Adam definitely went against the ‘fake’ issues and I loved how honest they were with each other. Their bantering was fun and the smexy was HAWT and I loved where we left them in the end.
I’m a broken record but…this was a fun and easy to devour read. I obviously adored Poppy and Adam, but along with them, I ended up adoring the very well written and colorful cast of characters. They all kept me on my toes and had me cracking up with their antics while brining that family dynamic I love so much to vibrant, HD life. I can’t say I have an ultimate favorite, but grandpa and Rosie are definitely at the top of the list.
So, if you’re looking for a low angsty read with a cast of great characters and a lot of heart, then this is a must read!

Emma Hart has once again brought on all the laughs with her latest romantic comedy that is a fun, flirty and hilarious story!
Four Day Fling might just happen to be my favorite Emma Hart romcom to date. From the phenomenally intriguing storyline to the characters, both main and secondary, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like! Poppy and Adam captivated my heart right from the very beginning and I found myself falling deeply in love with them as the story progressed. Their witty banter just made it impossible not to love them!
Poppy Dunn was sassy, snarky, and a little awkward at times. And let’s not forget about her amazing t-shirt collection (totally wish I had her fashion sense). She is one of those characters that you wish could step outside of the book because you totally want to be her bff. I have got a major girl crush on her! She is my alternate ego and I wish I could be as cool as she is.
Adam Winters was sweet and sexy with an oh so charming smile that will melt your…well you know…right off! He had me laughing, smiling and swooning hardcore too many times to count. I freaking love him and did I mention that he’s a hockey player?! Oh my goodness do I have a weakness for hockey players. They are just so HOT! Not only that, but he is so sweet to all of his fans, especially the little ones!
These two were the perfect match and I could not have imagined them any other way. Their banter and sarcasm just added so much to the dynamic of this story. Emma Hart has truly outdone herself with her character and storyline development!

Loved, loved, loved this book! From page one I was hooked. Poppy meets Adam at a bar and has a one night stand with him and then she makes it awkward on the morning after when she is caught just staring at him instead of leaving like she planned. She was actually trying to figure out if she should ask the guy she just slept with to be her date for her sister’s wedding. This is made even funnier when they both realize they don’t know the other’s name and Adam offers to make her breakfast. Crazily enough Adam accepts her offer of being her fake boyfriend for the wedding but the only bad this is he is actually a popular hockey player and she doesn’t realize this yet her hockey obsessed family recognizes him. Poppy is quite the fiery, temperamental red head with a healthy dose of sarcasm thrown in and Adam is very attracted to that. She doesn’t fawn all over him for being a sports stud like the other women do. Poppy and Adam have a lot of chemistry with each other and really pull off the fake relationship although it starts feeling more real than fake. Of course they both deny that this is happening and go their separate ways after the wedding when you know that is the last thing that either of them wants to do.
I loved Poppy’s relationship with her family. Even though she claimed she couldn’t tolerate them she knew how to handle each family member and make them happy. Adam saw this right away even though Poppy couldn’t see it. Her family could also see how much Adam and Poppy liked each other and wanted to be together and worked to make this happen.
I was sad when this book ended because I absolutely loved Poppy and Adam. This is definitely a book I would recommend and one I know I will be re reading.
I know I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating- Emma Hart is the Queen of the rom/coms and Four Day Fling proves it beyond a doubt. It’s a wonderful, light-hearted fun and flirty quick read, full of blatantly innuendo filled banter from the sex on a hockey stick hero, Adam Winters and sassy, sarcastic, take no prisoners, Poppy Dunn.
On paper these two characters shouldn’t work and Poppy even says so, but somehow they just gel, from the moment they first met.
And that first meeting… well it led to a supposed one night stand that led to Adam being offered an invite to be a pretend boyfriend for Emma.
With her sister’s wedding fast approaching, Emma needed help as her mom expected her to arrive with a plus one, except she didn’t have one. Hockey player, Adam was more than happy to fill those empty shoes. What more could a man ask for? A long weekend at a fancy resort in Key West, four days of sun, sand and bedroom fun.
I freaking loved how this story played out. There was no angst, or OM?OW drama, just a crazy mad family and girl who knew nothing about sport or ice hockey.
If you’re looking for a book that will leave you with a warm glow and that’s perfect for the beach, then this is for you, I can’t recommend it highly enough. One-Click today, you will not be sorry.
Fun and flirty, Four Day Fling was a sexy romance. The action starts on the first page and continues to the end.
Poppy finds herself single, needing a date to her sisters wedding. A one night stand agrees to help her out, and thats when the real fun starts. A classic fake relationship turns real, Ms. Hart nailed it in Four Day Fling. I loved Poppy and Adam’s whirlwind relationship, and how they were a united front against Poppy’s meddling mother.
Four Day Fling is fun escape from real life, a perfect beach read, its well written and paced quickly. The story is easy to get into, and one you don’t want to put down until its over.
