Wow. That was….not good. I realize this book was first published in 1997, but this book’s message is just pathetic. I was 17/18 in 1997, and I do NOT recall women having the mindset of ‘If I don’t have a man in my life, I have nothing!’. There was So. Much. EYE-ROLLING going on while I read this.

This was my first encounter with this author, and I have to admit I really enjoyed this book, it left a very good first impression. It also inspired me to purchase more of her books! It’s a light-hearted romance, full of hope and promise! Definitely a entertaining first read for me! Highly recommend it!
