A classic, must-read for any speculative fiction fan. Also recommend the sequels not written by Asimov, but authorized by his estate.
Classic sci fi. Different era but still entertaining.
This is a great SCI-FI work. It is the 1st of a trilogy which later has been added to by other authors. I found that I couldn’t put it down. I reread it now but originally read it 50 years ago while I was in high school. I knew it was great then and I understand it even more today. If you like science fiction and haven’t read it, now is time.
This is a great classic that I read in my youth. It was great to reread this classic by the master of Science fiction.
Greatest sci-fi ever….
This is one of the classics.
Another great set of works by one of my favorite authors. This is more a recommendation than review.
Very applicable to today’s political climate, despite when the book was written.
Classic science fiction. You are not an SF reader unless you have read this book and it’s sequels.
This is the first of several books I want to read the others.
Excellent first in this famous series
A Sci Fi Classic A must read for all Sci Fi fans
Foundation is the beginning of a 3 book series that later is linked to at least 2 if not 3 other 3 book series, ultimately ending with I robot. I read these books a long time ago, and Foundation might be the beginning of the second set, now that I think of it. I think the first one started with a book named “Mute”, short for mutation. Isaac Asimov …
A must read book. Actually the entire trilogy is great.
If you are interested in SF, read the whole series. A classic, and deservedly so.
I read the Foundation Trilogy many years ago. I went to hear Azimov speak shortly before his death and had him autograph my copy.
An avid Asimov fan, I HIGHLY recommend Foundation to any reader.
So thought provoking, this was one of Asimov’s best. I don’t know how many times I’ve read it.
Deservedly, a science fiction classic.
relevant then and now
A CLASSIC. Must read.
