We found each other where no else could.Found a purpose. Found ourselves. Found love.Again.But then life got in the way.Three years later and the people that we once were are nowhere to be found. Can our love survive everything we’ve put it through? Can we find a way back to each other…Again?
“Three years is a lifetime. And when you’re dealing in lifetimes… The person you were three years ago is usually nowhere to be found.”
Continuing after the events of the previous book, we will follow the outcome of the story of Tucker and Charlotte and how they will deal with the consequences of their actions. After being captured, Tucker is arrested. Charlotte stays by his side, even though her mother tries to mess up at all costs. When she has an idea to avoid testifying against him in court, their relationship evolves, but the environment he finds himself in and the outcome of the settlement made by his defense eventually create a distance between them.
Three years later, Tucker leaves the jail to find an anxious Charlotte waiting outside. But if both had expectations for this meeting, the reality was not as either expected. This remote period has created a gulf between them, and adjusting to the new reality will not be easy.
Charlotte is happy to finally have him back. But no matter how hard she tries, he would rather be alone than have her around. Tucker can’t deal with being a former convict, can’t support her, and can’t give her the future she deserves.
Like its predecessor, this volume also merges past and present, and with that, we will find that these three years were not easy for either of them. They have suffered quietly, alone, they’re hurt and do not know how to deal with these feelings.
With a more dramatic burden, this part of the story focuses on the human side of the characters, showing how Tucker struggles to reintegrate into society after making a mistake he has paid for, but is still judged for by it, and how Charlotte tries to make her marriage work, while dealing with the pain of a loss that still hurts her, as well as trying to assimilate the new information Tucker shares and the anger he feels toward her.
Their journey is neither beautiful nor easy, much less inspiring. It is real, raw, full of mistakes, pain and loss. But the fact that they love each other is undeniable. Just as this love was the ruin and salvation of both.
A nice ending to a controversial but very well written story.

Tuck and Char continue pulling on the heartstrings in the continuation of their story. In this book we have Tucker serving his sentence in prison for the things he has done in the first book, Charlotte being who she is stays by his side, goes to see him every visitation day, marries him, and helps him when he goes through some dark days while there. When Tuck gets out he struggles to find his place in the everyday world and it puts some tension on their marriage, he starts to distant himself from Charlotte and she is hurting not knowing how to help him. Throughout the book we see them struggle with all that has happened in the past, present, and their future together. I was so heartbroken in some places because you just know without a doubt these two need and love each other but it was hard to see them struggle until one day they finally open up to each other and start hashing things out. The ups and downs brought them together and finally Tuck gets his head on straight and realizes that they without a doubt belong together because their love is powerful and he needs Char even if he thinks his reputation will ruin her. Tuck just really thought he didn’t deserve her and struggled daily with accepting her love, but they get there and its so beautiful when they do.
This was a great conclusion to Tucker and Charlotte’s story. It was written with a raw honesty that I felt down to my bones. I ached for these characters to find their way through all their troubles. And the villain in this story, I HATED HER! I loved this duet and will definitely be recommending it to everyone!
This is 2nd book in duet
Second book continues after he is released from prison and they have to figure out if they can find their way
After the huge cliff-hanger at the end of ‘Lost’ I couldn’t wait to see how Tucker and Charlotte’s story was going to continue and I was not disappointed with this conclusion to the duet!
Book 2 ‘Found’ picks up 3 years after book 2 ended. Although it picks up 3 years later, we are given flashbacks to those 3 years, giving us an insight into Tucker & Char’s time apart.
I don’t want to give too much away with this second part, but let me tell you this…. Tucker and Charlottes connection and relationship is special.
Life continues to be hard for them, and there are still many obstacle’s in their way. Hurdles. challenges and heartbreak they both need to overcome. Seperately and as a couple. Charlotte’s mother being one of them!
But will their love story survive; can they overcome the odds and the negativity that surrounds them?
A story full of emotion, anger, sadness, but also some lighter scenes and some brilliantly steamy moments too! This duet is an absolute treat!
The explosive finale! Picking up three years after the last book ends, we find out both what happened after the arrest as well as how they are rebuilding once Tucker is out of jail. This book honestly might be my favorite from Carrie that I’ve read thus far. She gives Charlotte the personal growth that she was starting to gain in the first book by taking her life in her own hands, but also seeing her falter in some ways with her relationship to Tucker. I also love that she gave us the flashbacks of Tucker in jail so we were able to see how he handled everything but also where he started feeling guilty and then pushing Charlotte away. The growth both individually but also as a couple between these two characters throughout this book (let alone the entire series) was amazing. I couldn’t put the book down even if I tried and couldn’t get enough of this storyline. Thankfully, we get to read the HEA that both Charlotte and Tucker not only need, but also deserve. This series definitely solidified Carrie being one of my favorite authors hands down. I love her style of writing as well as the unique storylines she provides us as readers.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
