Alone and suddenly single, Teagan Tate’s visit to Martha’s Vineyard for a previously planned couples weekend leaves her feeling more of a third wheel. And when the last ferry off the island is cancelled, she finds herself stranded in the middle of a nor’easter. Will the magic of Blythe Cove Manor and the kindness of two strangers help her find a new and happier life path?
This is another heartwarming Blythe Cove Manor short story – a very wise friend helps Teagan realize what she needs to do with her life. This is a must read for everyone.
Post-breakup Teagan Tate goes on a pre-planned trip to Matha’s Vinyard with a couple of her college friends and their spouses. Teagan didn’t enjoy her trip and spent most of her time working which results in her oversleeping the last morning of her visit. The arrival of a storm on the island causes Teagan to get stuck on the island for several more days. Can these unexpected vacation days bring a little of Blythe Cove Magic into Teagan’s life?
I always enjoy the Blythe Cove Books, with each new guest or guests there is a new magical journey. The setting of Blythe Cove Manor gives me a cozy homey feeling, I would love to visit the B&B. Blythe Calvert the owner of Blythe Cove Manor is the perfect innkeeper, she always seems to know just the right thing to say or food to serve to help her guests through any problem they have. The main guest character in this book Teagan is dealing with an issue of that I believe a large number of people are dealing with, finding what truly makes them happy. I really loved the storyline of the magic of Blythe Cove or Blythe Calvert helps Teagan. I recommend this book for anyone looking for a good quick read.
I voluntarily agreed to read an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own and in no way have been influenced.
There is always something magical about Blythe Cove Manor. It does not matter who is visiting, seems any troubled soul leaves feeling soothed and with a new outlook on their life or problems. Always wonder if it is Blythe herself or the Manor that holds the magic.
Reagan had a miserable weekend with her girlfriends and their husbands, feeling like a fifth wheel. She misses the ferry to get off the island so is now stuck there due to a nor’easter.
I really enjoyed this story of how Reagan finds a new path to her life.
I received an ARC prior to publication and decided to voluntarily review it. Opinions expressed are my own.
Blythe Cove Manor has a magical way of soothing a troubled soul. But will it work on Teagan….suddenly single, miserable after a depressing weekend with two college girlfriends and their husbands, and now, after missing the last ferry off the island, stranded in the middle of a nor’easter. An enjoyable tale of being in the right place at the right time for a new outlook on life. Disclosure: I am voluntarily reviewing this story and all opinions are strictly my own.
In this short we are introduced to Teagan Tate, a young woman who is having a weekend with friends, the only problem, it is a couples weekend and she just broke up with her boyfriend. She came to learn that he wasn’t the man for her but came on the weekend anyway. Things didn’t go as she had hoped though and she has felt like a fifth wheel the entire time. Looking forward to getting back home and back to work things take a turn when the weather keeps her from being able to travel. It looks like she will be staying at Blythe Cove Manner until the ferries start running again. Getting stranded gives Teagan the much needed time to reflect on where she is in life and where she would like to be. This was a wonderful short that tapped into the healing qualities a destination can have on ones mind. I hope that I can one day find a place like Blythe Cove and its magical qualities.
