From “the most popular mystery writer alive” (The New York Times), the twenty-seventh entry in the #1 New York Times bestselling series isn’t just the biggest case of Stephanie Plum’s career. It’s the adventure of a lifetime. When Stephanie’s beloved Grandma Mazur’s new husband died on their wedding night, the only thing he left her was a beat-up old easy chair…and the keys to a life-changing … chair…and the keys to a life-changing fortune.
But as Stephanie and Grandma Mazur search for Jimmy Rosolli’s treasure, they discover that they’re not the only ones on the hunt. Two dangerous enemies from the past stand in their way—along with a new adversary who’s even more formidable: Gabriela Rose, a dark-eyed beauty from Little Havana with a taste for designer clothes. She’s also a soldier of fortune, a gourmet cook, an expert in firearms and mixed martial arts—and someone who’s about to give Stephanie a real run for her money.
Stephanie may be in over her head, but she’s got two things that Gabriela doesn’t: an unbreakable bond with her family and a stubborn streak that will never let her quit.
She’ll need both to survive because this search for “fortune and glory” will turn into a desperate race against time with more on the line than ever before. Because even as she searches for the treasure and fights to protect her Grandma Mazur, her own deepest feelings will be tested—as Stephanie could finally be forced to choose between Joe Morelli and Ranger.

I have loved ALL the Stephanie Plum books and look forward to number 28! Hilarious, silly, funny insights into people’s behaviors, hot boyfriends, crazy bad guys – what more could you want?
Janet Evanovich does an amazing job bringing the Stephanie Plum series to life. The dialogue is so well written with such a natural rhythm that you get a sense of being a bystander eavesdropping on a conversation. The characters are witty, sexy, and endearing. The stories are fast paced and fun. Love this series!!
The Stephanie Plum series never fails to amaze me! Loved it.
very light reading. not the best Stephanie Plum but entertaining nine the less.
Love anything by Janet Evanovich
I always look forward to the books from the Stephanie Plum series!! They keep me entertained with all of the action. I’m always laughing at Grandma Mazur who is my favorite character. She’s so spunky and doesn’t miss a beat at her age. I’ve never been to Jersey but I can picture every character in the burg from the mob to Morelli.
Same as the first 20-something books. I gave up on this series after #22. I thought it was time to revisit it and I’m sorry I bothered. You can count on a laugh every-other chapter or so. The plot is always the same. This one may have set a record for destroyed cars and structures. I think Lula, who is amusing, has too over-the-top and certainly worn out her spandex. Grandma is a cartoon. Mom should join AA. Stephanie needs to figure out that she is hopeless without Ranger or Morelli having to always do her job. Actually, I think Ranger and Morelli would be better off forgetting about Stephanie and getting together. They have much more in common.
Eva novice is one of my favorite authors
Laugh out loud funny!!
I’ve read and loved the previous 26 books, starting with One for the Money. She’s separated from Morelli but Ranger is “filling in”. She’s hunting a treasure that her Grandma Mazur found the keys for (in a La-Z-Boy from a deceased mobster). Other mobsters are also hunting it and will stop at nothing to get it, Lula is still her sidekick and partner in crime between visits to eateries and bakeries. She has a new bodyguard, Potts. He’s a really weird character, lots of laughs. The search continues in typical Stephanie and Lula fashion until the explosive “Hiroshima” ending.
Her books are freakin’ hysterical. Fast read, good for the beach or the bed. And grandma is a Hoot!
Fortune And Glory by Janet Evanovich is number 27 in the Stephanie Plum series. I found the plot to be intriguing and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The author did a great job in developing the characters, especially Grandma Mazur and Potts. I found myself laughing hysterically at various times. I really enjoyed reading this novel and rated it a five.
Not my fave Plum book but good.
I am a fan of Stephanie Plum and all the characters surrounding her life.
Awesome book. Awesome writer
Stephanie is always fun
Love these Stephanie Plum adventures! As always, action-packed, full of hilarious escapades and her plight to decide between to sexy men.
Love this series!
Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter and a street smart Jersey girl. Grandma Mazur married a local mobster and upon his death he left her clues to a treasure. Stephanie and Lula do their best to her find it. Stephanie is now single and Ranger wastes no time stepping in to be there for her. The man is seriously swoon worthy and always there to rescue her. This book is witty, unpredictable and action-packed. Janet Evanovich creates the most entertaining plots. The narrator, Lorelei King, is fabulous! She is the absolute best at creating entertaining voices. You have no trouble differentiating between characters.
Was and always good Stephanie Plum series. My favorite person is grandma. She makes it the best
