In this quick (about an hour) family-friendly short story, Ryn returns to her home island of Ursaia after ten years of slavery in the effort to free and reunite her people. I had an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
Only a portion of the story
Ryn, an Ursaie, is traveling to her homeland, Ursaia. She is finally free from the slavery into which she was kidnapped and sold as a child.
Ryn had a vision of her grandmother and wants to find her grandmother and her people. She doesn’t get the welcome that she expects
I received a free ARC and am looking forward to continuing the tale in the next book of the series. While the book section is complete, many questions are left unanswered. I also needed a more developed backstory.
Meet Ryn and what happens when she goes back home. It was a fun and crazy read that made me laugh and groan and hope the Ryn survives it all. It was great seeing her stand up for herself. Just a quick read that I enjoyed from a good series about a side character.
In Forsaken Ryn an Ursaie slave newly released by the archdruid Ann, returns home to Ursaia to find her people only to discover the elder Alaric has taken over proclaiming himself a god. Unfortunately, to save her people Ryn must risk the one she loves. I enjoyed this fast- paced quick read and it is a lovely addition to the Rogues of Magic universe. I look forward to reading more from this author.
ONE THRILLING EARTH SHAKING RIDE!!!
Dang demons! Tiffany not only brought it, she wiped the floor with this riveting dynamo, batten down the hatches and weather the storm, bringing out the heavy artillery, locked and loaded, blasting this bad boy to life spectacularly. Bearing the burdens and towing the line, delivering this action packed, pulse racing, heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, page flipping, block busting bombshell, kicking this baby to a whole new realm. Havoc runs rampant and animosity is rife, rolling with the drama, turmoil, loss, disbelief, intrigue, danger, spiraling suspense and intense situations, along with a boatload of determination while dodging deadly intents, you have one intoxicating masterpiece. Shattering the boundaries and pushing the limits, such strengths and weaknesses being weighed and balanced, propelling this jewel forward, launching it into a tailspin with a life-changing culmination. The characters are complex and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuinely relatable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and depictions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Amazing job Tiffany, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
This book is a little novella. This is the first time I have actually read a book by Tiffany Shand. This book Forsakened, is a great book. It’s a fun read and it left me kinda emotional because of the ending. The ending of this novella is probably the only thing I actually loved in the book. The book itself is beautifully written and is great. I cannot wait to read more books by this author.
I got a free copy of the book and is voluntarily leaving a review
