No moment or heartbeat is promised. The world stopped for one second and I took a breath.Nathan and Bryer had declared their love, their hopes and dreams for the future were solidified. They’d been through many hurdles and conquered them all.Until the past caught up with them, Cash the smooth-taking lawyer from Austin had always won, and this would be no exception. But Nathan didn’t give up easily, and if it was a fight Cash wanted, a fight he’d get. Nathan knew nothing would break their love; he was certain of it.
But when Bryer was put to the test she had to choose, the past or the future.
And that path was unclear.
Ultimately, would she stand by the man she loved today, or the love from her past?
Which man would hold her heart?

Forgotten Promise Book Two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine
This story picked up where the last ended and there was no letting up with what happens to Nathan and Bryer.
There is a lot that happens and of course there is still more to come in book three and I cannot wait to read it.
I really had a hard time putting this book down and even found myself reading at 3am because I couldn’t sleep. There is just something about Nathan and Bryer’s story that has drawn me in and I love them.
I’m curious to see how this all plays out with Nathan and Bryer as well as all the other forces around them and I NEED answers on Clayton and Gen.
This is just a great series. Lots of romance and suspense along with laughs and hard core flirting (Clayton and Gen).
Can’t wait to get started on the next one!
Forgetten Promise by Virginia Wine is the second novel in The Forgotten Trilogy. This story continues following Nathan and Bryer on their journey.
Picking up where the first novel left off, we follow Nathan and Bryer as they get to know each other more and are still trying to grow personally. When Bryer’s past makes an appearance in her life again will Nathan be able to keep it to together?
I love the characters in this trilogy. Gen and Clayton are super fun too! I cannot wait for the final story in the trilogy!
This is book two of the forgotten Trilogy and it was absolutely brilliant, i would highly recommend you read book one first to understand what is happening. This novel is full of emotion which keeps you hooked and turning the pages eager to find out what will happen next. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat with the bumps in the road you just want to know how or if they will overcome them, love is never easy but it’s worth the fight.
Forgotten Promise Trilogy: Book Two (The Forgotten Trilogy 2) by Virginia Wine is a continuation of Bryer and Nathans story. Bryer’s ex, cutthroat lawyer Cash, is back in the picture and won’t take no for an answer. He has also infiltrated areas of the couple’s life that he has no business being. His presence is also a point of contention for the couple, Bryer tries to ignore his presence completely whereas Nathan wants to get the bottom of the motive for his return. Cash it seems, will stop at nothing to get another chance with Bryer. This was an intriguing story which leaves the reader wondering what is going to happen next and ultimately who is going to get hurt in the process of figuring it out. Away to read book 3 now to find out how Bryer and Nathans story ends.
This is book 2 of the Forgotten Trilogy. The story of Nathan and Bryer continues as their relationship grows stronger Bryers ex Cash returns to try and drive a wedge between the couple.
Cash has wormed his way into Nathan’s company and he tells Bryer that she has something of her mothers. That leads Bryer to follow him and with the help of a storm Bryer and Cash gets snowed into the home with no contact with the outside world.
Over the course of 4 days Cash works on Bryer can he beat her down emotionally and win her over. Will she forget Nathan and go back to her first love or will she remember all the pain Cash caused and her 100% love for Nathan which will bring her home safely.
Its a heartbreaking story but also contains loads of love and proves anything is possible if your love is strong enough.
5 Star
Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine is a wonderfully written story that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I do recommend reading the first book in this trilogy if you haven’t already. Nathan and Bryer are madly in love with one another, he’s taught her how to trust again. He swears she’s the one and they are going to get a HEA. Then the someone from her past comes a knocking . What will Bryer do? Will she choose him or Nathan? What does the future look like for these two? My emotions were all over the place, Cash is very manipulative in getting what he wants. Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read the next book in this Trilogy.
Forgotten Promise (Forgotten #2) by Virginia Wine was a romantic suspense that will keep you on your toes.
Nathan and Bryer think they finally can start finding they’re happily ever after. But Cash is still lurking around finding a way to be 2 steps ahead of them. Will Nathan and Bryer ever truly be done with Cash or will Cash find a way to destroy their relationship?
I’m not a huge suspense romance fan but Virginia’s writing as me wanting more. I can’t wait to see what will happen next with this couple.
I read the first book and was completely hooked. I hated Cash right away, what a jerk face. The second book continued the story of Cash’s evil BS but the love between Nathan and Bryer overcame. I love Virginia’s writing style. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page.
Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine is the second book in the Forgotten trilogy. This is definitely as good as the first book and certainly kept me reading.
Throughout this book the author really knew how to keep you guessing. The whole way through I was rooting for Nathan and Bryer but I also couldn’t shake that niggling feeling that maybe Cash wasn’t going away. It made the book that bit more exciting to read.
As with the first I enjoyed the overall story and found the characters to be interesting. I am looking forward to seeing what might be next.
After being totally hooked on Book 1, I couldn’t wait to dive into Book 2 – Forgotten Promise. This book was if I must say better than book 1 and I was not expecting that considering how brilliant book 1 was. This book was once filled with pure, real, raw emotions, that really drew you into the story and have you captivated from the very beginning.
This author has created another read with another incredible storyline. The characters are very real and have incredible chemistry, you can’t help but want to follow their journey all through the ups and downs, but also the twists and turns that come with this read.
I was constantly wondering what decision Bryer would pick, and whether her past would once again overtake her future. I absolutely loved this read, and I can’t wait to read more from this author!
Virginia Wine is most definitely becoming one of my go-to authors after these reads.
3 ½ Stars
Forgotten Promise is the second book in the Forgotten series by Virginia Wine. This continues Bryer and Nathan’s story from book one, so I highly recommend reading the first book before starting on this one.
Just when things seem to be going great and the future looks bright- the past comes back with a vengeance and will test their relationship like nothing before. With all the obstacles they’ve managed to overcome- this may just break them!
Again, as with the first book, I had some trouble connecting with the characters and their story. The frustrated me so much. I really wanted to shake them both! Cash is a real piece of work- a major POS!!! We are left with another cliffhanger, with more details and developments to be revealed in the next book.
I am interested to see how everything will come together in the end. Wonder what Forgotten Chance (Book 3) has in store for us….
Thank you, Virginia Wine!
Bryer and Nathan have been through a lot…and are finally at a place where their relationship is on solid ground. They are moving on from their pasts…until Bryer’s past starts contacting her. Nathan knows this is not a good sign and vows to protect Bryer at all costs. However, through the use of the manipulation that Cash is known for, he gets Bryer to come to him…willingly. What follows causes both Bryer and Nathan to question just how solid their relationship is and what the future holds for them. We are left with another cliffhanger…which makes me excited to read the next book.
I found myself, once again, intrigued by how the story will play out. The vulnerabilities and emotions displayed by both of the main characters can seem too much at times…but they are real. This is how real people feel in relationships. And the secondary characters, again, help push the story along while hinting at their own story that could be brewing. I will definitely be checking out the next book to see what happens next!
As a fan of the first book, I love the way Nathan and Bryer love each other. I think they’re together for a greater reason than even they can even know about. They’ve taken the time to establish their foundation and cement their love. I hated Cash for trying to come through and break them up.
This book will have you praying Bryer sees through just how arrogant and pompous Cash is and lives happily ever after with Nathan. Great read — wonderful characters, romantic and entertaining.
Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine a fabulous five-star read. This is number two in the Forgotten series and it has gone from strength to strength, I really enjoyed how we hear mostly from Nathan and Bryer but very occasionally we get to hear from Cash, and that helped me get into his head more, it just seemed to add another layer to the story. The twists and turns with this story will have you upside-down, and leave you breathless, there is such a rich storyline and characters that you cant help but feel every emotion they are going through, the loss, the love and the passion. I cant wait to hear more from this author.
Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. Once again this author truly knows how to capture my attention and I couldn’t put this book down. I highly recommend reading this series in order. Once again this author gives us a bit of everything I love in a great story. Som suspense, mystery and a whole lot of romance. These characters truly draw you into their world and you can definitely forget the time of day while you spend it with them. From the get go these characters had me hooked and I’m so ready for more. It’s a well written story and it’s paced nicely. Five stars all the way and excited to see where the author takes readers next. Highly recommended!

So the second book in this trilogy definitely measured up against the first, it may not have been as full of action however the continuation of Bryer and Nathan’s relationship had be hanging on every turn of the page! There were some twists and turns for them to navigate in this story and I really enjoyed following them. I loved that the story was told from dual POV’s (Bryer and Nathan) my favourite writing style to read and I enjoyed the odd POV from Cash as well! When I first started this book I thought I knew what was going to happen so I loved that the author threw in a character I didn’t expect which took the storyline off on a tangent which was exciting and unexpected! I am definitely looking forward to more from Ms Wine in the future!
Bryer and Nathan are back. Their relationship has grown, but can it survive a blast from the past? We see them struggle and thrive in this book, but will it be enough?
The second book in the series was interesting. Not as action packed as number one, but just as much turmoil. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to follow Bryer and Nathan’s story.
This is a lovely romance series to read. I enjoyed getting back to these characters. Nathan and Bryer have told each other how they feel. When past people show up what will happen. Will this change how they are forging thier feelings. Many twist and turns which are unexpected.
I loved this book. This is the second book in this series, it is just as awesome as the first if not better. This author is fast becoming one of my favorites. She has a great imagination and her attention to detail makes you feel as if you are part of the story. I had no problem connecting with the characters. They had great chemistry and really made the story a page turner. Nathan and Bryer thought they had their future settled. They have fought their way through life challenges. But now, the past is coming to the present and it may not be a good thing. Now, Bryer is left with a decision, to live in the past or live for the present and future. Which will she choose? Their twists and turns had me turning pages fast. I highly recommend their story and this author.
I lvoed the first book so much I wanted to read more about Nathan and Bryers story. Book 2 is written in a faster pace than book one and parts of it I felt were rushed. I read this book super fast. Although it wasn’t as good as the first book, it’s still extremely good. I think I liked the first book better because I really can’t stand the character Cash! He’s a real PIA! I want to know “Beavis and Buttheads” story….I feel like that will make a good read because the banter between the two of them keeps building. About half way through the book, I realized I’ve read it before and I wasn’t upset about reading it twice. You can read this as a stand alone, however, I extremely encourage you to read the first book first because it’s soooooo good!!! I can’t wait to read more from Virginia.
