No moment or heartbeat is promised. The world stopped for one second and I took a breath.Nathan and Bryer had declared their love, their hopes and dreams for the future were solidified. They’d been through many hurdles and conquered them all.Until the past caught up with them, Cash the smooth-taking lawyer from Austin had always won, and this would be no exception. He had one goal, to tear them … exception. He had one goal, to tear them apart. With no moral compass, he would go to great lengths to have her again. One more chance to love Bryer.
But Nathan didn’t give up easily, and if it was a fight Cash wanted, a fight he’d get. Nathan knew nothing would break their love; he was certain of it.
But when Bryer was put to the test she had to choose, the past or the future.
And that path was unclear.
Ultimately, would she stand by the man she loved today, or the love from her past?
Which man would hold her heart?

Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy
By Virginia Wine
5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is the second story in a trilogy so I would highly suggest reading the books in order to fully understand what is happening. In this book, Nathan and Bryer have declared their love for each other. He has taught her how to trust again. She is his one true love. What will happen when someone from her past shows up? What will Bryer choose, the present, or the past? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The story includes romance, danger, and manipulation. The man from Bryer’s past, Cash, is manipulative, slimy, and just plain evil. He is a man who is used to getting what he wants. I am rooting for Nathan and Bryer to find happiness. They are characters that I care about what happens to them. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.
Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine continues Bryer and Nathan’s love story, so I suggest reading the first book first. Once again I find myself torn as to the rating as I did with the first book and the characters. I was still not able to fully gel with them and wanted to strangle them both and maybe do away with Cash, sorry not sorry! The story is fast paced and Virginia’s writing style is interesting and keeps you in suspense of what is to come.
Bryer and Nathan seem to have it all and finally seem settled. That is until Bryer’s past comes back with a vengeance. Cash wants her back and will stop at nothing and I mean nothing to get her back but he never expected a fight on his hands. Will Bryer choose Nathan or Cash?
Virginia once again left us with a cliffhanger right at the very end so I can’t wait to see where she takes us.
3.5 – 4 stars
This was a great book that I couldn’t put down. Bryer and Nathan are moving on with their lives and planning a future together. Everything seems to be going great up until Bryer’s ex, Cash, comes crashing back into her life with relentless phone calls that she refuses to answer. He plans on winning her back at any cost and he knows just how to do it. Cash promises Bryer something that her mother had left for her as part if her estate to get her to go with him. Cash is up to no good and Bryer seems to believe what he is telling her, or so it seems. Is Bryer willing to leave Nathan and go back to Cash or is it just wishful thinking on his part? Is Bryer willing to give up her current happiness to try and rekindle an old flame? Four days of being cut off from Nathan, as well as the rest of the world, leaves Bryer in a bit of a predicament. She is left with memories of her past not only invading her mind, but staring her right in the face.
Forgotten Promise (Forgotten #2) by Virginia Wine was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. Since this is a trilogy you should read the books in order.
Nathan and Bryer have gone through quite a bit and have gotten to the point that they can express their love for each other Bryer is also able to trust again. Trying to move forward from their pasts….Bryer’s isn’t quite ready to let go of her. Cash continues to manipulate Bryer.
When he convinces Bryer to come back things take a twist and things start to get questioned.
Will Cash and Bryer’s relationship be strong enough? What kind of future can they have?
Overall I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. We get romance, danger and so much more. My emotions were all over the place. I really love the characters and the secondary characters. And I will warn we do have a cliffhanger that will make you anxious for the next book. If you’re looking for a series that pulls you right in, this is the one for you. 1-click and get started today.
Forgotten Promise is the second installment in the Forgotten Truth trilogy. I absolutely loved all the plot twists and heart wrenching scenes that Virginia Wine provided in this book! I felt the struggle Breyer went through when faced with her choice: Cash or Nathan. Past or Future. This book hit all the right notes !
Virginia Wine has taken a happy ending and added twists and turns that play on the heart strings. Forgotten Promise is not only an awesome read but it is also captivating for the reader. This is the second book in a trilogy and shouldn’t be read alone as it follows a set of characters and their lives. White has created a new type of fairy tale filled with love, disappointment, betrayal, and lots of heartache. Five stars isn’t enough to describe how awesome and captivating this book is.
Forgotten Promise is the second book in the The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine and let me say I loved reading this series. This book was better then the first which has me excited to read the next installation for this series. This book follows Cash again with his crap and Nathan and Bryer and let me tell you, you will either fall in love with the characters or hate them. What will Bryer choose when she is thrown into a test she’s not expecting? The way this author writes makes you feel like you are experiencing the story along with those in the page. I highly recommend reading these books in order.
Forgotten Promise (book two in the Forgotten series) by Virginia Wine was a good story and follow up to the first one. I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first however. It felt rushed in many parts, and the time of events wasn’t clearly defined so it kept throwing me off, when things would happen but there was no clear event change happening. However, this was a great sequel to the first novel. I did enjoy it the further I read into it and I can’t wait to read the installment in this trilogy.
***3 stars***
Forgotten Promise (Forgotten Book #2) by Virginia Wine
This story continues with Nathan and Bryer’s story with the addition of Cash showing up to stir up some drama and try to get Bryer back by whatever means necessary. Nathan is the hero again who is willing to do anything to make sure Bryer is safe and back in his arms. This steamy action-packed book will keep you entertained, but also frustrate the crap out of you for Bryer even getting into the situation. This story is a passionate love affair with major roadblocks and twists and turns. I’d recommend definitely starting with book #1 in the series. I give this story 3 stars, as it was an imaginative story that will likely get you emotionally stressed and caught up in the story. I think this author has great potential and great ideas that I look forward to seeing evolve and develop.
I am absolutely blown away by this second book of the series! I was hooked from the first page of the first book, and when i picked up this one I was just as absorbed! I read this great book in one day, and would definitely do it again! I have fallen in love with this author and cannot wait to read more from Virginia Wine! A truly talented author and worthy of that 5 star review!
Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine is book two of The Forgotten Trilogy. These books should be read in order. After reading book one, I couldn’t wait to read this book.
Nathan and Bryer has finally figured everything out. But as it always does, the past came knocking and nothing seems clear anymore. Nathan was sure of their path. He was confident in his and Bryer’s love for each other but when Bryer is faced with a choice, it doesn’t seem so easy anymore. What choice will Bryer make? Will she choose her past or her present? Find out!
This was such an emotional book! I couldn’t put it down because I HAD to know what was going to happen! Can’t wait to read book three!
I could not put this book down once I started and the story we get here, after the first one was a ride itself, is another “buckle in and hold on” read.
Bryer and Nathan are put to the test with Cash coming into the picture. Bryer must fight the pull in either direction and I couldn’t have asked for more than if I was watching a movie. Love this series!
Forgotten Promise is the 2nd thrilling instalment in the Forgotten Series by Virginia Wine. Virginia Wine is an author I came to love when reading the Surviving Series and I’m loving this new series just as much as I enjoyed the Surviving Series.
In this second book Nathan and Bryer are together and have declared their love for each other. Life should be perfect the happy couple but Bryer’s ex-fiance Cash is determined to do everything to break up the happy couple and win Bryer back for himself.
When Cash resorts to his usual underhand tactics to cause problems for the couple and then manipulates Bryer to go to his home with him, will Bryer and Nathan’s relationship survive?
I found this book moved at a much faster pace than the first book and also had a more sinister, suspenseful feel to it which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I grew to love the characters of Nathan and Bryer even more as their journey continued and I can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series – Forgotten Chance.
Swoon! This book was so good. I loved the story of the characters, not going to say I didn’t see Cash coming back into the picture, but hey. Most definitely some steamy scenes, and most worth it. My first book by this author, and I would very much like to read the rest of this series!
I absolutely loved this book! This is the second book in this series and it was just as good if not better than the first. This author seems to know everything that a good book needs and has nailed it on every single book that I have read by her. I feel like I am living the story with the characters and I get to experience it right along with them. I enjoyed the characters and the love and major chemistry they had between them. There was struggle and heartache and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am looking forward to reading more of this series and more by this author in the future!
Happy Reading!
What an epic story with an epic love! Sometimes steamy romance novels feel superficial. But Wine continues to weave a great story that is rich with depth and color. I love these characters and simply couldn’t put this book down to find out exactly what would happen. I don’t want to give it away but suffice it to say if you like romance books at all, steam or no, you need to pick this up. It’s got it all!
Nathan and Bryer have their love and just as they thought their future was ahead, their past came crashing through. Cash, the lawyer, is anything but a nice guy. He does everything in his power to drag her backwards. This book includes all the emotions and the author does not disappoint! This is one of those series where you find yourself saying “one more chapter!” This just gets better and better!
This is the second installment of The Forgotten Trilogy from Virginia Wine. I really enjoyed the first book and highly recommend that you start with book one before diving into this one because the characters continue through this one and the backstory I find is important as well to fully enjoy the novels to their potential. In Forgotten Promise we see Bryer and Nathan feeling confident that they have things working in the right direction for the most part. Of course there is a twist and turn plot theme to these books and eventually things will become once again trying for these two. This obstacle and the fallout may just break them, but will it? I will say we find another cliffhanger that will keep us on the edge of our seats waiting for the next book to be in our hands. I am excited to see how things will work out for these two and to see what drama awaits them in the future.
Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine . This is the 2nd book in the Forgotten Trilogy. Its the conclusion of Bryer & Nathan’s story. Bryer and Nathan have been thru many setbacks and Bryer’s ex Cash has in no way helped them. He is an smooth talking lawyer from Austin who has made the decision to get Bryer back no matter what. Nathan has also made the promise to keep Bryer no matter the cost and at what lengths he has to go to keep her. Bryer is dealing with the loss of her mother along with these two guys that she has feelings for. Cash uses the loss of her mom to lure her back to him but is she strong enough to say no. Will Bryer’s love for Nathan outweigh the feelings she has for Cash? Cash is a dirty low down piece of work and I rooted for Nathan thru the book. When Bryer is forced to choose between Cash and Nathan will she make the right choice? Read Forgotten Promise to find out!
What happens when someone from your past threatens your future, that’s the dilemma in story for Bryer when a lover comes back looking for one more chance.
Bryer and Nathan are happy, they have declared their love for each other but will there world be rocked when a blast from Bryer past comes looking for her love again. Cash is a no hold barred lawyer who is determining to win back Bryer, he has the reputation that he wins everything in the courtroom so he is betting on winning this battle.
Nathan is positive that Bryer will choose him but if Cash wants a battle for the love of his life then he is determined to put up one hell of a fight, but its all up to Bryer.
This is the second book in this trilogy and did not disappoint, I would recommend reading the first book before this one as it set up the characters within the story and you may have more of an investment in the story. Cash to me although coming across as a manipulative character was a great counter player to Nathan, the interactions between these two were brilliant and you felt like you were always routing for someone. Bryer is great strong female character and is well written, with you really putting yourself into her shoes all the way through the story.
I would recommend this series with the well written story and developed characters I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
