Enjoyed books so much as I have been to Appalichola many times . Everything was so accurate.
Thoroughly enjoyed all four books in the series.
the love shown by Maggie for her children, the love between her and her parents, and special caring she and ex-husband shared was so lovely to read about. I really didn’t want the #4 book to end, but now can look forward to the next books in the series.

I loved getting to know all the characters brought to life in this series. The twists and surprises kept me in suspense to the end. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Just loved this set.
Great development of character traits
Good story and engaging characters. The editing could be better. Lots of typos, but still an enjoyable read.
Great books. Read the whole series. I live in this part of Florida, so I liked the realistic portrayal of our region.
Have read the first one and started the second. Enjoyed the first and it makes you want to know more.
Found myself using google maps to zoom in on Apalachicola. Felt like i was there.
Entertaining, action-packed, unpredictable and maybe a bit too much blood, but a good story that lets you get to know the people.
The rooster named Stoopid is a delightful character addition to the story line.
Love reading about the area
Awesome, exciting, didn’t want the books to end. Very well written
HELD MY INTEREST THROUGH ALL 4 STORIES. HATED TO SEE STORIES END.
LIKED THE CHARACTERS.
The characters are so well developed in this series. I am familiar with the area in which the story takes place, and it is depicted so realistically. The best part of the book is the suspenseful storyline. It also helps that there are no grammar, spelling, or punctuation errors. I have really enjoyed this series.
I enjoy her cast of character’s and descriptions of the environment. As others have said reading the four book set included way to many repeats.
Wanted more, enjoyed set but these were more like short stories not novels
