Lt. Maggie Redmond soon discovers that the foot belongs to the friend of another recently dead guy, Gregory Boudreaux, the man she never told anyone about. When it starts looking like town villain Bennett Boudreaux might be responsible for eliminating Sport, things begin to get a little weird. Especially since Maggie’s started to take a liking to Bennett. After each book, I was wanting more and at the end, although I am happy, I still want to know more about these characters.
GREAT SERIES – LOVED ALL OF THEM.
Loved these books so much, I wrote the author to tell her.
Read all 4 books in only 2 days!!!! Absolutely LOVED these books and plan to continue reading the books in this series!!!!!
Delightful series of books with the author taking the time to develop characters along with twists and turns. Wholly enjoyable.
From the area books were written in so nice to hear a place I recognize. Very good story line. Kept me reading and hated when a book ended.
Love this series. The characters are engaging and the plot keeps the action and suspense going. Tinge of romance, also.
Great new series with wonderful characters. Looking forward to sequals.
I live near Apalachicola and truly enjoyed a set of books that takes place there.
I don’t usually care for a series, but this is one of the best I’ve read. Characters are flawed but idealistic. A bad guy both scary and intriguing. A love affair scarred by past events but a hopeful future. A heroine that can save herself and protect her children.
Read all the books and wanted more. Great characters. You never knew what would happen next. love that.
Amazing series – you get so invested in Maggie the lead character and her family. The action is non-stop but so are the character delineations. Winner series – will be keeping my eye out for the next books in this series & other books by the same author !
I love this series of books and look forward to the next one.
EXCELLENT READING. I WOULD GO FOR MORE FROM THIS AUTHOR
Truly enjoyed this read
I loved all the books in this series. I read most of them over a long weekend. Once I got started I could not quit reading the books. They are not long and are a quick read, but the characters are well-developed. While I was pretty sure I figured out the underlying hook early on, I still felt the need to get to the part of the story that finally made my idea a reality. Even though I did not want it to be true I was still okay with it being true (sounds crazy but it shows the depth of the character development when you can find rooting value for most all of the characters!). I highly recommend these books and hope the writer plans on writing more about Maggie, Wyatt and all the other people I have come to like and respect. All of this and there is no overt sexual scenes, but lots of sexual tension.
This wasn’t what I expected, but I came to enjoy the characters and the story line. Kept me entertained to the end.
Reading about Florida’s Gulf Coast fishing/beach culture was very appealing and these books sent me off looking for fresh raw oysters…not easy to find in Vermont!
It was totally unnecessary to make this into four books. This is a ONE BOOK story. the author used four books so all the intro stuff, description stuff, etc, could be repeated over and over to take up space. If I had actually paid for this, I would have felt ripped off.
This book was a great action packed thriller with a surprise ending. Authentic scenes and characters made this a easy read. I highly recommend this book.
