Book 1: Low Tide In the quaint coastal town of Apalachicola, sinister things are afoot, as sinister things tend to be.
Lt. Maggie Redmond is called to a crime scene on St. George Island, where she is met with the body of Gregory Boudreaux. The medical examiner calls it a suicide, but no one knows that Maggie has a horrible connection to the dead man.
When Gregory’s uncle, Bennett Boudreaux, the richest and scariest man in town, takes a sudden interest in Maggie, people start to wonder, Maggie included. Maggie knows he may suspect her of killing his nephew, but she finds herself slowly drawn to the man.
As Maggie fights to help a young girl escape the clutches of a volatile drug dealer who’d love to see Maggie dead, she also struggles to hide her dark link to a dead man, and her burgeoning relationship with her boss, Sheriff Wyatt Hamilton.
Unfortunately, secrets have a way of revealing themselves at low tide.
Book 2: Riptide Once again, sinister things are afoot in Apalachicola, FL, and one of them is an actual foot.
When a local fisherman finds a severed limb in his net, it sets off a chain of events that no one can anticipate
Lt. Maggie Redmond soon discovers that the foot belongs to the friend of another recently dead guy, Gregory Boudreaux, the man she never told anyone about. Gregory’s death was thought to be a suicide. That seems less likely, now that his best friend Sport’s foot has shown up out of the blue, as it were
When it starts looking like town villain Bennett Boudreaux might be responsible for eliminating Sport, things begin to get a little weird. Especially since Maggie’s started to take a liking to Bennett. She’s also taken a real liking to her boss, Sheriff Wyatt Hamilton, but her growing friendship to Bennett and her secret connection to the dead men threaten her and Wyatt’s relationship.
Is Bennett avenging Maggie for some reason, or does he have something altogether different on his mind?
Book 3: What Washes Up Karma’s alive and well in Apalachicola, Florida, and there are several people who are about to meet it face to face.
When more than a dozen bodies wash up on the beach of St. George Island, the residents of Apalach are outraged, and none more so than investigator Maggie Redmond and Sheriff Wyatt Hamilton. It’s time for the greedy to answer for the lives of innocents.
Meanwhile, a man is found tied to a burning boat in the middle of the bay, and Maggie’s instincts tell her Bennett Boudreaux is behind it.
If he is, Maggie has to decide whether she really wants him punished, or if justice has already been served.
Book 4: Landfall Two storms that nobody thought were coming just made landfall.
As a hurricane gathers its power just off Apalachicola’s shore, another storm comes to a head in Lt. Maggie Redmond’s home.
Held prisoner by a man bent on avenging the death of a son, Maggie must find a way to save herself and her two children. No one knows where they are. No one is coming to help.
Maggie and her children will have to find a way to survive both the madness inside their home and the madness raging outside.

Can’t wait for the next book
Great action sequences. Very interesting story kines
Good read. Want to read rest of books in series.
This was a great series. I finished it and can’t wait to read some more stories about the characters.the stories were full of action and the people were so interesting . You want to know more about then . I really enjoyed it
As in most books, the action taken by the authorities is not by the book, but they do exactly what you would want to do, so I guess it doesn’t disturb m e that much. I just couldn’t give 5 stars because some of the stuff was not realistic. Like how many times can one person sustain multiple head injuries and still drag a body thru hurricane driven wind and water??? The characters were engaging. One of the local bad guys is likable, so you kind of want to root for him. Each book stands on its own enough that you could read them out of sequence if you wanted too. The descriptions of the area are good, although long winded at times. Especially enjoyed the witty comments from the sheriff and his ability to express his interest in the lead female. Nothing too deep, but entertaining enough to make me want to finish the set.
Great Stories
I would have like these books better if they hadn’t ended so abruptly. Really, all 4 books should have been just one book. It’s the same story line and a lot of pages were spent in the last 3 books explaining what happened in the previous ones(s), so be sure & buy all 4 so you won’t be left hanging. Having said that, I did enjoy reading them. Somewhat predictable, but a nice, easy read and entertaining.
Was hoping for another book in this series. Good characters and some surprises.
This was a great book, I could hardly put it down and was sorry when it ended.
enjoyable and easy reading.
Love to read about that area of Florida
enjoyed this series. kept me entertained and wanting more
Have to read the next ones,to see what happens!!!!!
Outstanding series. Easy to visualize characters and picture storyline as a tv series. Strong attachment to characters and eager to continue following their lives and how things work out. Best series I have read in awhile. Will be following up with the next 3 in this series.
Having been very familiar with apalachicola and surrounding area, I really enjoyed the series. I will most likely get some more books in the series
Great characters and genuine conflicts – stories were captivating
Liked these enough to buy the 5th book. Will probably get the entire series.
I laughed and I cried. I couldn’t put it down! I’m really glad all four “books” were packaged together, because they weren’t stand-alone books at all. Together they make a wonderful read.
I loved each book – couldn’t wait to read the next one. After reading all 7 of this series, I am hoping for more from these characters. The writing style is very descriptive and I feel I would recognize the town as well as the main characters. There is just enough wit to make the gritty story lines more palatable. Bring on more from Apalachicola!
Great series, loved the rooster, Stoopid, the books were very entertaining. After reading the first four, I purchased the last 3 books in the series and even recommended them to our local library director. If you like Evanovich you would like these books.
