As Maggie fights to help a young girl escape the clutches of a volatile drug dealer who’d love to see Maggie dead, she also struggles to hide her dark link to a dead man, and her burgeoning relationship with her boss, Sheriff Wyatt Hamilton.
Unfortunately, secrets have a way of revealing themselves at low tide.

Lt. Maggie Redmond soon discovers that the foot belongs to the friend of another recently dead guy, Gregory Boudreaux, the man she never told anyone about. Gregory’s death was thought to be a suicide. That seems less likely, now that his best friend Sport’s foot has shown up out of the blue, as it were
When it starts looking like town villain Bennett Boudreaux might be responsible for eliminating Sport, things begin to get a little weird. Especially since Maggie’s started to take a liking to Bennett. Is Bennett avenging Maggie for some reason, or does he have something altogether different on his mind?
Book 3: What Washes Up Karma’s alive and well in Apalachicola, Florida, and there are several people who are about to meet it face to face.

Very good book. Could hardly put it down.
Could all 4 have been in one book instead of a package, would still have been an easy read and page turner and wouldn’t have had to have to much “refresh” at beginnings of each.
loved this series
Really enjoyed this series. Well developed and interesting characters and good storylines.
I liked this trilogy, believable, third was pretty gripping, much more so than first two
Can’t wait to read the next one!!! Loved the characters and plot twists.
Well written, interesting continuing series. Like the setting in coastal FL. Great beach read with a very likable main character .
Drank these books down like a cool drink of water! Awesome
Am from Florida so enjoy reading any books set on Florida. Enjoyed these so much I read them straight thru 1-4.
I LOVED these books! The characters are believable and interesting, each one unique. I found myself wrapped up in the storyline as the plots crisscrossed and separated. The setting, Apalachicola, FL., is enchanting. Can’t wait to read the next 4 in the series!
They were predictable and very short. Did not command my attention very much.
These books were page-turners. By the time I finished the first book I was hooked. I love this author. I became emotionally involved and stayed up all night to finish two of the books.
I look forward to future books in this series.
I appreciate BookBub for identifying these books for me.
Loved the 4 book series and looking forward to the next 4
Definitely this whole set is a necessary reading as things do not tie up till the end of the fourth book.
There is good conversation between characters that is utterly believable. The mystery leads you into each chapter and keeps you guessing. This is one of the best series of mystery books that I have read in a long time. Ms. McKenna keeps your interest and throws out curves you didn’t see coming. The humorous aspects of the rooster Stoopid are so funny and the loving joy of Coco which is so classic with a family dogs is endearing.,
Series that flows from one book to another. Can read each book indivudually and still get the drift of the action.
Anything by Dawn Lee McKenna is so enjoyable!
I could not wait for the next in the series. Vibrant characters.
Awesome book set. Easy read,
kept me coming back for more – glad it was sold as a group
