This was a great story, I loved returning to McKenzie Ridge. In this story, a stranger shows up on Morgan’s ranch, beaten & bruised & with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He was taken to the hospital & after he wakes up Morgan feels sorry for him because he still doesn’t have any memory of who he is. She brings him back to her ranch where he does some work. For a while he is okay with not knowing who he is until there are threats made & some shots are fired. He then wants to know who he is & what is going on so he can protect Morgan.
Great story! This story is engaging, heartfelt and sexy with a little suspense sprinkled in. I have read every book in this series so far and the stories just keep getting better. This story also has a surprise that I absolutely loved!! I am sooo looking forward to the next book in this series!!
Police officer Morgan’s life is turns upside down when an unconscious man is found at her ranch. When the handsome stranger wakes without an identity to recall, Morgan takes him in. She and her friends refer to him as Guy.. The suspense broadens when endless chaos and mischief lands in McKenzie Ridge. Working on Morgan’s ranch to earn his keep, the mystery man cannot help but feel at home. When Morgan catches his eye and holds his heart, he is content with not knowing who he really is. That is until it is all threatened. – There are several characters, and a few of the women had names that could have belonged to men. That was a little confusing. The part of the book about the mischief at the ranch was familiar; it is similar to another book I previously read. I liked Morgan and loved Guy’s attitude and attention to her. They have some good love scenes. I enjoyed the book.
Well written and easy to read with good characters and story line.
I enjoyed the book, but I felt like I had missed something about the many characters because this was book 3 in a series and I hadn’t read books 1 or 2. Also I didn’t find once glance and she fell for him believable, but that’s just me. I liked the book in spite of these shortcomings.
Only 1 small criticism: no set-up to the memory recovery, so it was somewhat confusing and disappointing. Fairly cool happily-ever-after ending.
Read it!!
The whole series are great reads. Wonderful, strong characters. Great plot twists.
Good story. I was in the dark right to the end looking for the “Bad Guy”
It made me not want to put it down. Good story line and it flowed nicely
The characters from McKenzie Ridge are worth cheering for. The reader wants everything in their world to work out for the best, some way, some how.
This book would have been a little easier to read if I had started with the first book. There are a lot of names to learn so I was confused at the beginning trying to figure everyone out. Enjoyed the book, however.
I usually save my 5 star ratings for the likes of Nora Roberts and Karen Robards. I was halfway through this story and it had already earned a 5 star rating. Loved this one!
I had never read this author before but I really enjoyed the book!
A good one. Couldn’t keep it down. Realistic characters.
This was a good book. I liked the storyline and the-suspense of what was happening at the ranch. The ending was rushed though. Guy’s memory was back it seemed in a flash and the takedown too quick. It was three months of no memory and a turn of the page to find out how the problem was solved. No leadup to the takedown at all.
Great series need to read all of them. Worth getting all 5 books
i loved the story, and the characters. would read all her books. great auther
Really enjoyed it
This was not believable… there were so many holes in the plot. It was really hard to follow, and it didn’t flow well, at all. There were so many characters thrown into the book that had no real relevance to the main characters. It felt rushed.
