OMG! OMG! OMG! JANE! JANE! JANE! Even though I knew a lot of what would happen because I read the previous novels, it still felt like the first time and you blew me away.
I love these characters and it is so wonderful being back with them again. They are all flawed in their own ways, but I would still want them by my side in a clutch situation. Jane has put them through hell…repeatedly…and does not give them a break in Forgotten.
Their past comes back to haunt them, over and over again. Secrets will be exposed…and trouble, which is Tessa’s middle name, will find them.
Tessa and Parker’s inability to get past their own insecurities and trust in each other causes a separation they may never be able to overcome. Do we ever really know a person? People are not always what they seem.
Jane has brought all the events in the previous books into play and wraps it up in a NOT pretty package. She has no trouble killing off her characters and the loss of this one was gut wrenching. Even though I knew it was going to happen, I still had all the feels I did the first time around, maybe even more.
The villains are monstrous, but I understand how they got that way. I see their motivation, empathize with their pain, but they know right from wrong and there can be no forgiveness.
It broke my heart when Maisy…and then Jane finished me off with… Tears were rolling down my face as….I couldn’t hold them back. Sometimes knowing what’s coming doesn’t change anything.
You only get one shot at life and you had to make it count. We’re all responsible for our own choices.”
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Forgotten by Jane Blythe.

Final book in this series. What a series it has been. This last book was a great ending to this series. I do highly recommend reading the first four in the series before reading this one so you can understand the relationship between Parker and Tessa These books are both suspenseful and gripping. In this one Tessa and Parker are estranged. There are a variety of psychotic killers in this series and wow does Jane write them well. There is more drama, more heartbreak, more creepy serial killer craziness that you can ask for. I have to say the ending was not what I expected and was blown away by it. But it was another great book to this series. I highly recommend this whole series.
Another suspense filled story but one where Tessa and Parker Bell are estranged. I am amazed and delighted by the variety of psychotic killers in this series and this is yet another book with great creativity.
Once again, although I do like the character of Tessa and am amazed by everything she has gone through, I am irritated by her too. For someone who is a genius she makes some very poor decisions. However Parker, who again I like, is just as annoying! Skylar Wyatt’s character sums it up well when he says… “You and that wife of yours are the most infuriating people on the planet,” Wyatt complained. The thing is- when I read a story and become as invested in the characters and their actions I believe it is due to the solid writing by the author who has you hooked into their fictional world.
A terrific series but I need time to process everything as it is an intensely emotional read, brilliant and unpredictable though.
Holy moley what a way to end such an amazing series!! From the very beginning these characters endured so many difficulties that my heart hurt for them. Forgotten is full of angsty drama, heartbreak and nonstop craziness. I have loved this series from the very beginning and I’m a little sad to be saying goodbye.
Omg! Buckle up this one bumpy ride….AND what a ending!
I have such a book hangover. It really pulled at the heartstrings.
Do recommend you read these books in order. Really enjoyed this series, and can’t wait to read more by this author.
This is book 5 and the final in the series. I can’t even begin to explain the full emotional roller coaster this book takes you on. What a great ending to a great series. A must read.
The 5th and final book and what a way to end it.
It took me a while to get into this story but once I did I really enjoyed it, I knew the ending was going to leave me in a mess and it did.
A heart rending finale
Once again, Ms Blythe has taken me on a twisted tale and tortured the characters as only she knows how. Now I join them with my tormented feelings. I have been left reeling.
3.5 stars.
OMFG.
What a way to end a series!!
I’m sitting here numb, rocking in a corner.
From the prologue you could tell something major was going to happen.
Let’s just say the author wraps up most of the series plot lines in this book, but they definitely aren’t in pretty little bows.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
This is the final book in the series and what an ending it turned out to be.
It is suspenseful and had me crying and excited to see what happens.
Amazing!
Overall I thought this was a great series and truly loved the storylines and Parker, Tessa not so much. At times I’d be okay you are better in my eyes, then I’d be umm no no you really aren’t lol. But even with my feelings for her aside I devoured this series and can say it still shocked me up until the very end.
The fifth and final book in the series and what a way to end!!!!
What started off as a series I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy has turned into one that I have loved, with every twist and turn and every truth that un folded I’ve been hooked and gripped by the characters and the story line. I absolutely adore parker from the very first book hes etched himself into my heart ,but tessa well that’s another story haha bare with her the books are so worth it even if she is annoying.
A fantastic gripping suspenseful series brilliantly written and characters you cant help but love. A truly heartbreaking end to such a tragic love story!!!!!
Omg I cant believe it I want to scream that no no no it cant be true I cried on this book at the end I just couldn’t believe that it ended that way I just couldn’t
Wow what an ending!! The final book in the series and it didn’t disappoint! More drama, more heartbreak, more creepy serial killer craziness. This book was everything the others were and more! Jane Blythe did a fantastic job at bringing the characters to life and hooking you in to the nonstop drama filled lives of these characters. I deeply disliked Tessa in this book, her issues pushing Parker as far as he could go and Wyatt, Parker’s best friend, who I loved in the first 4 books, really got on my nerves the way he treated Parker in this book.
The ending was not at all what I expected, not even close! I will not spoil it, it needs to be experienced the same way I did.
I really enjoyed this series. I am truly a fan of this author now and I am going searching to see what else I can read of hers.
This is the fifth and final book in this series. You should start at book one and read through in order to get the complete story and to have a full understanding of everything that has occurred. I freely admit that I have had some complicated feelings about this series and these characters. As for the books themselves, I found them quite suspenseful and gripping. I really liked Parker and I found him a character that was complex and compelling. Unfortunately, Tessa was a real sore point for me. I started off thinking she was annoying, which grew into dislike and finally something that borders on loathing. This character was like nails on the chalkboard to me. I honestly do not recall ever reading a heroine that was so self centered and clueless. In my opinion, TSTL doesn’t even scratch the surface here. Still, if this character is not an issue or you can just try very hard to ignore her, I feel that this is a twisty and intriguing series that my not be quite what you expect.
