She’s the one who got away. He’s the boy she can’t forget… CherylThey say you never forget your first love, but I’m determined to prove Keven Kennedy is just a random boy from my past. It’s not like I still think about him after all this time. Or daydream about how hot his kisses were and what it felt like to have his hands on my skin.Nope, that’s not me. I’m in a happy place in my life. Engaged … skin.
Nope, that’s not me. I’m in a happy place in my life. Engaged to a great man and finishing the last year of my photography degree.
But since I returned to Massachusetts, everything reminds me of the boy who ripped my heart to shreds. Especially when my fiancé’s constant business trips, and dwindling attention, raises old fears to the surface.
And then the unthinkable happens—Keven saunters back into my life, turning it upside down once more.
It’s ironic he thinks he’s protecting me when the only one I need protecting from is him.
Keven
They say you never forget your first love. In my case, it’s true. Most everyone in high school thought Cheryl and I were a match made in heaven and that nothing could tear us apart. Until I messed up spectacularly and lost the best thing to ever happen to me.
Years have passed, girls have come and gone, but no one has laid claim to my heart in the way Cheryl did.
I thought she was lost to me forever when an unexpected encounter with an uptight FBI agent, and an intriguing proposition, brings the beautiful blonde back into my life.
I didn’t hesitate to sign on the dotted line.
I let Cheryl down once before. I’m not going to fail her this time.
Forgiving Keven is a STANDALONE new adult romance in the Kennedy Boys world. No cliff-hanger, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA.more
I am so glad Keven got his HEA. she had me holding my breath to see what happened! I love the Kennedy boys!
For a while I had always been comprehensive about reading this series due to the first few books… but I took the leap and OH MY GOD IT’S AMAZING.
Forgiving Keven is a MUST READ…
Forgiving Keven, I absolutely loved reading and having a glimpse into Keven. After reading the other books, I found Keven to be loyal and would do anything for any of his family and friends but I always wanted to know more. This book provided it, and now Keven is definitely a runner up with Kyler as my favourite Kennedy boy. Keven is definitely book boyfriend material haha.
I absolutely love the love that Cheryl and Keven have for each other, and this book is a perfect second chance romance, that melts the hearts of its readers. It definitely melted mine! After what went down in Seducing Kaden, Keven begins working for the FBI, but once he realises that Cheryl is in trouble, he’s there protecting her. Keven is a natural protector, intelligent, and loyal, and cheryl fits in so well with the women in the Kennedy family, sassy and strong.
Siobhan Davis never fails, as all the books of Siobhan’s that I’ve read, they have always sent me on an emotional rollacoaster that breaks my heart but mends it back together in a carefully crafted way that is brilliant. Such an amazing author! Any of her books is a must read, but the Kennedy Boys series is something else and Forgiving Keven is just wow. After reading any of Siobhan Davis’s books, I always get greedy and want more haha! Can’t wait to read more from the Kennedy boys
Keven and Cheryl’s story was one that had me sitting back and thinking damn I wish i had someone like him. This book was everything I thought it would be and then some. This story had me on the edge of my seat and unable to put my kindle down. There were moments where i needed to take a second look at the part i was reading just to make sure what i was actually reading was indeed there. Siobhan Davis is an amazing author and her Kyler series just keeps getting better and better.
Oh the Kennedy boys. I enjoyed learning more about Keven and Cheryl!! This book also wraps up something from the other books and of course the other characters make an appearance! I’m getting sad because there are only three more brother to go!
Keven has only loved one woman in his life, and was lucky enough to meet her in high school. However, when his world was flipped upside down his senior year, he lost her. Girls have come and gone in his life, but none could compare to the love he feels for Cheryl. Cheryl is trying to live her life. She’s never loved anyone the way she loved Keven Kennedy, but his betrayal broke her, and she’s determined to move on. It’s been years since they’ve seen each other, but when they are thrust back into each other’s lives, Keven is determined to show Cheryl that she belongs with him. When the truth of what Cheryl’s fiancé is up to comes to light, and the dangers that both she and Keven are facing come knocking on their door, Keven will do everything to keep Cheryl safe, but will it be enough?
Keven Kennedy, much like his older brother Kaden, have been a mystery to me much of the series. We got to learn about Kaden and glean some more insight into Keven in the previous book in this series ‘Seducing Kaden’. I was super glad to dive into this book and get to know more about Keven. Siobhan did not disappoint when it came to this book. From the very beginning I was invested and couldn’t put the book down. I had to know what was going to happen next and how things were going to turn out between Keven and Cheryl. Siobhan had my enraptured from the first to the last chapter. She writes such suspenseful and thrilling books! I have to say that I think Keven Kennedy is my favorite Kennedy brother so far because he will stop at nothing, breaking laws mean nothing to him, if he can keep the people he loves safe. This is a standalone but to get the full effect I definitely recommend reading all of the previous books!
Forgiving Keven was a great 5 star read. This is book 7 in the Kennedy Boys series. I was once again pulled right in by Siobhan Davis’s writing, I couldn’t stop until I was done.
Cheryl had her heart broken years ago by Keven, she has since moved on and is now engaged.
Keven works with the FBI and is asked to take a case that involves Cheryl’s finance. He is asked to infiltrate and get close to Cheryl which stirs up some old feelings.
Cheryl has her walls up and is struggling to keep them up against Keven. He still makes her heart flutter whenever he’s around. She shouldn’t be feeling this way when she’s engaged.
When Keven shares truth about his past, Cheryl allows him to get closer. Things take a scary twist with her fiance.
Can Keven keep Cheryl safe? Can they have a HEA?
Overall I loved this story. Keven grew on me, until I learned more about the past I had my walls up like Cheryl. He was a strong alpha male that wasn’t afraid to show and tell Cheryl how he felt every chance he got. Cheryl was great, although I think she could have been slightly stronger. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning to connect with all of the characters better. I can’t wait to read more from this author, Siobhan does a great job of pulling you in and twisting you up inside and ending on a great note. 1-click and get started today.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This story was a romantic novel that had my stomach in knots and had me rage flipping through the pages. My heart went out to Keven for his childhood and his misguided missteps. I was just straight up worried about Cheryl. She is in serious trouble and has no idea! This book had me on the edge of my futon the entire time! I highly recommend you check out this story. You can read it without reading the rest of The Kennedy Boys series but I recommend you read those as well!
I felt like I was waiting on this book for so long!! but finally had the chance to finally read it and it did not disappoint in any way. This book was just what I needed and I of course knew Siobhan wouldn’t let me down.
Keven has been my most anticipated read! I love all the of the Kennedy boys but some thing about Keven pulled in! Keven and Cheryl had Chemistry and with that I believe made the book that much better not to mention my lack of sleep because I couldn’t put it down! A page tuner for sure.
Thank you Siobhan for keeping me addicted to reading your books! 🙂

First of all, if you haven’t started reading the Kennedy Brothers series yet, first, where have you been and second, please do yourself a favor and start reading this series because third you are not going to regret reading about hot boys and a crazy family and has the series progresses it? Things just keeps getting more crazy and dangerous and did I say crazy? Yeah, but let’s not forget about how hot and steamy these books are too. Let’s get into Forgiving Keven and in my opinion even though I would prefer for you to read all the books before reading this one first, I got stay if you come across this one and read it first, yeah you definitely can do it. So let’s do this.
Keven has had his share of girls come into his life but one thing is for sure, he hasn’t never been able to forget Cheryl, his very first love, the girl that he has loved more than himself and that’s a secret that he has never told not even his family. But things are about to change and they are about to chance big time. When things went south and the FBI shows up on his door step, Keven thought his whole life was over, but when the FBI decides to give him another chance and when that chance had a picture of Cheryl in it, he doesn’t even think twice about it and signs on that doted line lightning speed. Now, he will do nothing and everything to protect and make sure nothing will hurt her.
Cheryl, moving back to Massachusetts has been maybe the best decision she made, that is she is finishing getting her photography degree and already working at a studio part time and she is engaged to a great man. Life is finally going the right way, that is until Keven Kennedy walks into her life again. He tells her that he is there to protect her and help but the only thing that she needs protection is from him and all the feelings that is coming back to surface again. But she really doesn’t know the worst that is coming her way. Be ready for lots of action!!!!
Keven has always been the protector and the quiet one of the Kennedy’s and I couldn’t wait to read his book and damn if it wasn’t as amazing as I thought it would be. Keven delivered what I wanted from him, all his techie stuff (too cute), his protectiveness (just like his brothers) and oh man can he be romantic on his own way, he sure isn’t like the others on the romantic stuff and I love that, but he still gave me butterflies in MY stomach lol. Cheryl was one of my favorite girls, and love them all. She was hard to get even though they have known even other forever and all the parts she had to play to help Keven? She is a badass in her own way…you go girl.
Loved it, I of course devoured this book once I got it can gave it 5 out of 5 stars and cannot recommend it enough.
Wow! Author Siobhan Davis has rocked my world again. This is only the second book of hers that I have read and she constantly keeps wanting to see what’s going to happen next. Even though this is the 7th in a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. These are edgy, raw, New Adult books that are not for the prudish as her characters are “real world” twenty-somethings that talk the talk and walk the walk. Their language and actions don’t detract from the story; but, gives more credence to the characters personalities and emotions. She creates a world that is believable and draws the reader in. The story reads like a well-written/produced action-adventure-thriller.
When I first started to read this book; I had to roll my eyes and laugh a little at what appears to be a play on the Kardashians with all the “K” names and the Kennedy name being so celebrity. That’s where the coincidences end as the Kennedy boys are everything the Kardashian’s aren’t.

This series just goes from strength to strength! Although this can be read as a stand-alone, you are seriously missing out on an amazing literary experience, if you don’t visit the other Kennedy boys at some point. This is one of the most addictive series I have read and I am always on countdown for the next instalment.
This is Keven and Cheryl’s story, and it’s an addictive read. Love is never an easy path, as these two prove. This story is full of angst, danger, alongside a soul-mate love story. Love can conquer all, if it’s meant to be.
Another great read by Siobhan Davis. Can’t wait for the triplets storied now
*squealing!!!
Im so happy.
I just cant with these books.
They are too perfect!
The characters, with their chemistry.
The story, with the twists and turns and sexy times.
Then the ending, perfection.
I would highly recommend this book and can NOT wait for the next book!
Note: I have voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this title.
Happy reading!
Rating 5 stars
Keven went through some rough times but he’s straightened out his life and now he finally has a chance to try to make things right with Cheryl, the only girl he’s ever loved. Cheryl is engaged to a very bad man and Keven will do whatever he has to in order to protect her and reclaim her heart.
This is the first Kennedy Boys book I’ve read and I enjoyed it a lot. Although it references events from previous books, I did not have any trouble following this story. In fact, it just made me want to get the first six books and read them because this one is so good! The plot and the writing are great. Keven and Cheryl are likable characters and the story is very engrossing. Forgiving Keven is another great read by Siobhan Davis. 4.5 stars.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Keven Kennedy may descend from a wealthy and famous family, but his charm will not save him from the situation he is in: arrested by the FBI for his illegal actions in the past. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Avoid jail time in exchange for services rendered, being an agent. Keven could refuse the offer and let his lawyers perform their magic. But a photo seals his destiny.
Cheryl’s life is perfect. Her work as a photographer is a dream come true, her fiancé is a man in love and the future they are building is going to be perfect. But a great revelation will blow her bubble of happiness.
The small detail she does not know is that her fiancé is involved in illegal activities. And her ex-boyfriend, the man she’s never forgotten is about to return to her life for forgiveness. Her fiancé is lying to her. Just like her ex. Keven’s mission is to investigate his ex’s fiancé. Protecting her and regaining her is only a bonus.
Forgiving Keven addresses second chances. Keven was wrong in the past, he hurt too much the woman he loves, but with time and maturity he knew how to recognize his mistakes. With Cheryl in danger, he will spare no effort to keep her safe.
Cheryl suffers from the same malady that seems to afflict female protagonists lately: she is annoying. To discover the truth about her fiancé, to know that he is dangerous and yet not leave home because she must have a definite break up, confronting him, it seemed too much of the account. Hard to assimilate.
Some situations throughout the narrative are also surreal and difficult to accept. The part focused on Keven and Cheryl reconnecting and forgiving each other, leaving the past behind was the best of the book. The rest of the plot had more negatives than positive. Keven put at risk his mission by wanting to act on impulse was also difficult to believe, a negative point.
Overall, I did not love it. As already mentioned, some routes during the narrative have left something to be desired. It could be better built, a little more believable, and the characters not so annoying.
Where to start!?! At the beginning. I strongly advise that you start this series from the beginning. I started with Forgiving Keven and constantly found myself checking and rechecking comments/details that were not included in this book because they took place in prior books. That need to double check goes away after about 25%. However I found it detracts from immersion into the story. I also felt that all the characters personalities must have been developed in previous novels.
So going in blind is probably not the best way to entertain yourself with this series. I will say I was intrigued by the alluding to multiple dramas previously. I’m sure it’s an interesting series.
Keven has amazing computer skills which has helped out the Kennedy clan more than once but now those same skills have gotten him into trouble. The only way out is to work for the FBI and at the same time get close to Cheryl, his high school sweetheart and the only woman he has ever loved, until he left her devastated.
The last thing that Cheryl needs is Keven reappearing in her life. She has tried to move on with her life and is now engaged and planning her future with another man when her world comes crashing down.
This story takes you on a wild ride filled with suspense, drama and emotion. There is not denying the chemistry and love between them but is it enough for Cheryl willing to forgive Keven for the mistakes of the past?
The Kennedy Boys has been my favourite series from the moment I picked up Finding Kyler, so I was really excited when I discovered we’d be getting Keven’s story as I was in need of my next KB fix. This is a series where each book is just as good as the previous, but each boy still brings a different story to the table. Each boy stands out on his own and readers are spoilt for choice about who they like the most. For me, Kyler always came first, but was closely followed by Brad. However, both boys have been knocked down by Keven who is now most definitely my favourite KB so far!
Forgiving Keven is a powerful and emotional story that took me on a roller-coaster ride, which I didn’t get off of until the end. I loved how this story was in some ways a continuation of what happened in Seducing Kaden, but still shone out as a standalone and can be enjoyed even if you haven’t read Kaden’s story. This 5 star read kept me on the edge of my seat, and I became so focused on what was happening that I forgot about everything around me and stayed up late reading even though I could barely keep my eyes open due to being so tired.
It’s taken me a while to write this review as I couldn’t put into words how this book made feel. Even now, I don’t feel my review clearly explains it or even does the book justice. I read this book days ago, but I’m still thinking about it and haven’t wanted to pick up another book because I’m not yet ready to move on from Keven and Cheryl. Forgiving Keven is a must read for 2019 and I can’t recommend it enough!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book
i read this before any of the other books and in the end i loved it so much i had to go and read the other books. this book hit all the feels and was really well written
ove, sacrifice, protectiveness, fighting, weddings, bad guys and more. If you have read any of the Kennedy Boys books you will love them as much as I do. They are protective of their loved ones and will do anything to help them. Keven and Cheryl have so much history and heartache between them but also so much love.
Forgiving Keven pretty much starts off straight after the previous book in the series, Seducing Kaden. Keven is the 2nd eldest of the Kennedy Boys and he’s a really talented hacker. He’s never had a serious relationship ever since he lost Cheryl and we find out in this book what happened and why…
Cheryl and Keven were high school sweet hearts and they thought they had their future ahead of them, but as an unfortunate revolution led Keven to self-destruct, his actions led Cheryl to question everything and eventually leave Keven. There were many unanswered questions at that time but each carried on with their lives until eventually meeting again few years later.
Now Keven realised a certain kind of danger involving Cheryl and tried his best to protect her and keep her away, but they were both caught up anyway. This book ties in heavily with the previous book, in my opinion, and were similar in certain aspects. I’d definitely recommend reading the previous books in this series before picking this one up!
