There are things I don’t tell anyone, especially not after what happened last time. I had the misfortune of falling for a prince who had all the power in the world…and he used all that power to break my heart. But I’m an artist, and art is about emotion and sacrifice. I’ll do anything to succeed, even if it means going back to that cabin in the mountains where it all started to paint the intensest … intensest landscape of my career. Yes, remembering everything is painful. He was my first love. My first mistake. And now he’s not only my enemy, but the one thing standing between me and my dreams.
Everything’s fine until he shows up at the same small cabin I’ve rented, bringing with him the storm of the century.
Now, the blizzard has trapped me with the one man I truly hate…and the only man I’ve ever wanted.
He can claim my body, but not my heart.
I will never forgive him.

An absolutely, fantastic love story about two strong willed men who are so crazy for each other but are too stubborn to admit their ture feelings for fear of getting hurt.
Regardless of all the drama between them, they can’t seem to keep their hands off each. I love the banter and silly little quarrels they use to try to stay apart but all it does is ignite their passion and create explosive sexual release that remains them what they really want. This is definitely entertaining. You will not want to put it down.
I received a free copy via bookfunnel and this is my voluntarily review.
Queen Emmeline has an idea; and when she sets her mind to it, there’s no telling what could happen. Here, Tommy (the Queen’s grandson) and Evan both went to art school together, and despite being frenemies, there is no denying the spark between the two. The Queen gives Evan permission to use their cabin so he can paint, and Tommy is furious. He decides to go to the cabin; but a surprise blizzard lives the two men trapped and the attraction they had thought was buried is broiling.
The premise of the book intrigued me, so I was excited to give it a try. However, I couldn’t really get into it. I did not care for Evan or Tommy, I found both men to be unlikable characters. I was more interested in the Queen’s meddling in the beginning then the actual interaction between Tommy and Evan. I really did not care for the previous book Marry Me, so maybe this author just isn’t my style. But give it a try, and maybe you’ll enjoy it!
“I knew I was being petty but I did not care. When it came to Evan, I gave zero f**ks about logic and etiquette.” ~ Tommy
Stories of royalty and commoners are some of my favorite reads, yet this one threw me for an intriguing loop. I did enjoy the story of Evan and Tommy (young prince). Leave it to ‘larger-than-life’ egos to get in the way of any decent relationship. Top it off with being trapped during a storm. I guess that can happen with the depiction of the two main characters. How did they end up together at all is anyone’s guess, given the vitriol hurled at one another. Love hurts does not even begin to cover this version of ‘enemies to lovers’.
Read it anyway and loved it anyway, despite wanting to choke them both at some point.
Oddly enough, I feel the need to go read more pull your hair out enemies-to-lovers romance books from this author.
**I received this ARC copy from Booksprout for an honest review**
Another great read to the series. The author brings a second chance romance between Evan and Tommy, who have a hot chemistry but can’t seem to keep it together. There’s ups and downs, tons of emotions and enough misunderstandings to keep their banter flowing. It’s told in the dual POV showing both their thoughts and feelings and has a cast of supporting characters to bring the story around. I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
