5AMAZING STARS! Loved every minute of this story, couldn’t put it down! Forget You Not had my heart in a flutter, l was so happy that Lark and Rowen’s paths had crossed again it is their destiny to be soul mates! Lark is gorgeous, but Rowen still swooning, he is perfect in everyway! Loved getting more of Xander & Willow in this story! Awesome ending! Both these books are a must read, l most definitely will be reading more by Harloe Rae!
How could any of Harloe’s books be less than 5 stars!?’!? This is such a beautiful story of Lark and Rowen (omg…more men need to be lime Rowen!)
This was a lot of beauty and sweetness in this insta-love romance. It is not a short read but the pacing is quick. Rowen was I thought truly swoon worthy. Simply put, I loved him. Lark was a character that I so badly wanted to like more than I did. To me she felt abrasive and often quite witchy. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed these two as a couple but alone Lark was a bit much. Still I really liked the story and there was plenty of heat and heart to keep you entertained.

“Vix, you don’t understand yet one day it will be crystal clear. There is nothing to claim because you’re already mine. You’ve always been mine.”
Once upon a time Lark believed in the happily ever after, the love at first sight and finding her Prince Charming. All that changed the moment she realized her chance with Prince Charming just up and disappeared with no warning. After several failed relationships Lark is convinced she only needs men to scratch the occasional itch otherwise they’re no good in her life. Rowen on the other hand still believes in the happily ever after and after seven years of absence and a chance encounter he is willing to do whatever it takes to win over Lark’s heart and prove that they are sole mates.
If you read Harloe Rae’s debut novel Redefining Us you’re in luck because there a plenty of Xander and Willow sightings in this book. I was a huge fan of the first book so I loved the chance to catch up with where they are now. Forget You Not is the type of book where the guy truly is perfect saying all the right things at the right time. Rowen has spent the last 7 years knowing that he wanted to settle down and spend his life with his one true love. When he see’s Lark again it becomes his mission with some help from Willow to show Lark how amazing true love can be.
This book was a really sweet story focusing on the happily ever after with very low angst. If you’re looking for the type of book to swoon over and wish you could find a guy like that, than this book is for you! I can’t wait to see what Harloe has next for us because I will certainly be reading it.
“Your heart isn’t empty anymore. I want to fill it forever, with all my love. With everything I have to give.”
To say I am a fan of Harloe Rae is an understatement. The story of Willow and Xander was life changing for me. I have never read anything touched my soul on that level. With that being said, I had very high expectations for Forget Me Not and as usually Rae did not disappoint!
This story tell us all about how love can last through anything including time. Lark and Rowen are the type of people that make us all believe in fate. Yes, it’s totally insta-love to the max but when you know you know right?
Lark’s entire life was changed because of that meeting with Rowen. Whether it be good or bad those two found their way back to each other, just as fate determined would happen in the beginning.
Rowen never wanted to leave Lark. She had his heart the moment he laid eyes on her, but sometimes life and fate don’t see eye to eye. Theses two accidentally run into each other and know each other immediately. Two heart that speak to each other must be destined for a happily ever after… aren’t they?
If you have ever wanted to know how people earn their happily ever after this is the best series for you! Yes it is insta-love but in order to make their love for each other grow, they must put work into it.
Oh this book! It kept me on the edge of my seat as I was reading it. You can kinda look at this story as a second chance romance in a way. I found this story absolutely touching and romantic. Lark is all sass when she sees Rowen again for the first time and I love how, while she is putting on a show, she really is that soft hearted girl that Rowen met all those years ago. Through some little ups and downs, these two are quite the pair as they go through so much together.
I think the one thing I really love about this book as well as the previous one by the author is how raw they are. You really feel the emotions and pain that these characters go through. I really loved how Rowen stuck to his guns no matter how much Lark tempted him but I also love the passion and chemistry these two had. It was breathtaking. I am really looking forward to more from this author
FORGET YOU NOT is a fairytale love story, second chance romance, and how dreams do come true. I must tell you that Harloe Rae sure can write a love story.
Teenage Lark Somers was working her job at Brack’s Box restaurant. Business was so slow that she was wishing a customer would walk in to break up the boredom. Just like her wish came true, the most gorgeous man she had ever seen walks right in. He’s tall and broad, easily over six feet. Tingles erupt along her skin as her heart takes a sprint. She thinks he is her every teenage fantasy come true. But she falls in instant-love when he says, “Wow, you’re really beautiful. What’s your name?”
Lark collects herself from the spell he has put her under, to remember her job. “Umm, hello. Thanks for coming to Brack’s Box. My name is Lark.” He says, “My name is Rowen, but all my friends call me Row. It’s my pleasure to meet you.” When he holds out his hand to shake, her skin tingles on contact. His basic touch lights her up, and shock surges through her. She had read about this type of reaction in romance novels, but this is actually happening. He pulls her into his hard body and whispers close to her ear, “Do you believe in destiny? What about soul-mates? It seems like I was meant to come in here today.” Remembering that she needs this job, she seats him at an outside table. Promising to join him as soon as her shift is over. The chemistry between them is so powerful that her soul already seems bonded to him. He promises to wait patiently for her to have just a moment of her time. But as she passes the glass doors she finds his table empty. He vanished up in smoke, taken her foolish broken-heart with him.
Seven years would pass before fate would have their paths cross once again. Lark had abandonment issues since her father had left, and Rowen had no way of knowing how devastating his abandonment had been on her. But the memory of that one seemingly special afternoon had affected both their lives. Fairy tales and happily ever afters don’t exist, or do they?
How much impact can a lost chance at love have on a young persons heart? Ask her she’ll tell you, hell ask Rowan because it hit him too. Seven years he searched. Seven years she built up walls after waiting for him to return. Now he has to make her understand he wont leave again, he wont hurt her again, he wants it all.
This is a heartwarming emotional tale about second chances. When a heart is broken, when fate has a hand, can love win out? This author pours it all out in a wonderful way that keeps you turning pages, and wanting the best for these two. They are so different yet so alike and so ready for whatever this may be and the roadblocks along the way. Great story and awesome read with a supporting cast that makes it all the better.
