Alpha men and badass women. The chemistry between each pair explodes off the page. Drew and Ally have a past—one that includes betrayal and heartbreak…and smoldering embers just waiting to burst into flames.
Forged Redemption by Katherine McIntyre is the fifth book in the Tribal Spirits series. In this book, two cougar shifters who had been torn apart by circumstances Ally and Drew work together to track down the villain who is causing death and destruction. This pair will work on their issues separately and together until they can finally forgive the past to make a better future. This book was a fast paced read full of lots of suspense. I loved the way that these two characters relationship is full of sarcasm and steam. If you are looking for a great paranormal read, than this book is it. Forged Redemption is an exciting, steamy, and suspenseful read.

I was gifted my copy of this book, direct from the author, that I write a review was not required. But when the previous four books in the series have ALL been 5 stars, it’s only right and proper that you round off the WHOLE series, with a 5th FIVE star review!
I strongly and highly recommend; find it absolutely NECESSARY that you read the other books first, and in order. The ongoing story arc that runs through them all comes to a head here and you NEED to know what has happened before. What this group of people have suffered before at the hands of a madman.
Drew is trying to redeem himself, even though the things he did weren’t under his own steam. Joining forces with the Red River and the Silver Springs packs to rid the world of his nemesis, Drew knows he faces the final battle. But at least he has his Ally-Cat at his side, and if he dies today, she knows he loves her. Ally suffered when Drew left to join the Landsliders, in more ways than one and now, no one will want her, damaged as she is. Drew though? He might, if they survive this last fight.
When Drew turned up with Lucas, right near the beginning, you knew, you just KNEW he had a tale to tell and that it wasn’t going to be pleasant. And it certainly isn’t! Far darker than I was expecting, with so many twists and turns, I had to concentrate to keep up! Trust me when I say, this is a good thing: when a book makes ME slow down my reading, because I must keep up, it’s a very good thing. Ally’s tale is equally hard reading, just in a different way.
We knew Drew turned Landslider, that much is clear from the previous books, but WHY he did, isn’t so clear. When you hear what his father did, and then Hendricks made Drew do, you wonder how the man is still standing, the weight of his guilt is massive. Ally doesn’t sugar coat his feelings, she doesn’t try to make him feel any better. She carries her own (misplaced) guilt and that’s enough for her. What Ally DOES do, though, is make Drew HOPE. She makes him hope there is an end to their nightmare. She makes him hope there will be a happy ending, for the others at least. And deep down, deep within that part of him that never really let Ally go two years ago, she makes him HOPE there will a place for him in her heart, even after all he did.
It’s difficult reading, watching Ally and Drew come together again, especially when Drew comes across a particularly nasty reminder of something he did, and Ally suffered because of it. But it also BEAUTIFUL reading, when they finally, FINALLY give in to the true feelings, and just be together, the way they are supposed to be, as mates.
The end, for Hendricks, when it comes is long and heavy on the fighting, but I really think it is needed here. You need to know how Drew and Ally are feeling as they close in on Hendricks, and I would have loved to have heard from him, as his end draws nigh, I really would. Some clue to his feelings is given, but I’m just greedy!
All the previous pairings show up, Sierra and Dex (Forged Alliances) Finn and Navi (Forged Decisions) Raven and Jer (Forged Contracts) and Lana and Lucas (Forged Futures) and I am so pleased they did!
Just why I didn’t pick up that Dex was Drew’s brother before this book, I have no idea!
It’s always sad when a series comes to an end, but this one goes out with a huge bang!
Thank you, Ms McIntyre, for bringing these people into my world. I shall miss them!

The fifth book in the Tribal Spirits series a well written story that kept me turning pages. A great storyline and the story flows smoothly from page to page. I enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
wonderful end to a awesome series. They had a spark that had never extinguished. But if its to survive then they must succeed in their mission. Will they succeed?Or will they fail?
After Drew fell in with the Landsliders and was compelled to destroy his former pack, he doesn’t feel he deserves any forgiveness. But when a dangerous recon mission is set up to find the exact location of Mackey Kendricks’ hidden lair, Drew and Ally are teamed up together again. She never stopped loving him and the great chemistry they had before was not lost. Joining together, they must fight the Landsliders for their very survival! Can Drew redeem himself in the eyes of the woman he still loves? Will he be able to keep her safe? Can she regain the trust she once had in him?
This was a good way to bring the story to a close. Ally and Drew got their story after so much has happened since its beginning. Will they find each other again? Will they be able to forgive and find their HEA together? Grab your copy and see how their story unfolds.
Forged Redemption is the fifth and final book in the Tribal Spirits series, and we finally get Drew’s story. Drew and Ally were a couple way back when, before they even really knew about mates. As such, they were together, they broke up, rinse and repeat. These two somehow find the time to sew their relationship back together, through distrust and mortal peril! As well as that, the ultimate battle is drawing to a close, and no one knows who will live to see the outcome.
As with all of Katherine McIntyre books, this was an absolute winner! The writing is tight with no unnecessary parts. Everything is there for a reason! The relationship between Ally and Drew is sensitively written considering their pasts. There are steamy moments that add to the story, definitely not distracting from the arc storyline.
I am sad to see this series come to an end, but at the same time, I am excited to see what Ms. McIntyre will bring next. I highly recommend both this finale and the whole series!

“He and Ally had been born for walking barefoot over broken glass. He’d either develop calluses or bleed out.”
So sad to see this series end!! It’s been a true whirlwind of action, hysterically on-point banter, and hotness that glued me to my kindle throughout all 5 books. Ally and Drew held me captive as they pieced together their second chance braided with saving themselves from a common enemy. Without giving too much away, you can’t miss an incredibly hot scene that had me melting straight through my reading chair. My heart leapt, soared, crashed, and burned, and all the while I never got bored!! It’s a must read PNR series with heart, grit, and simmering heat to keep you fanning yourself!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
“She’d always been a beautiful destruction he’d embraced every time.”

Last book in this series and it was a great one! Ally was a great character and we learned so much about her. Drew still felt guilty and trying to make up for his past betrayals while he was under compulsion. Tons of action and great chemistry. This book had all the feels with previous characters that I loved in it along with some new ones. Fighting the Landsliders as they have before with some surprises as they fight for their survival. Loved these shifters and was happy that Ally and Drew finally got their story! Loved it!! I am voluntarily reviewing an arc I received via Booksprout.
