I love everything by Serena but this series was just magical and pulled on my heart strings.
This is on truly emotional military romance.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much this romance hit my heart. I was raised to accept anyone and everyone with openness and I’ve honestly tried to embrace my life that way. This book opened my eyes to a side of a relationship I hadn’t understood and was curious about. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about how certain relationships are affected by a relationship of this type and vice versa. It’s an amazingly well written and developed romance that took me to emotional highs and lows where I was giggling one moment and sobbing the next. It’s honest and gritty and romantic but that’s life and it just made it that much more real to me. I absolutely adore this book.
This is not your average romance, as it is an MMF/Triad romance, but it will draw you in and hold you there until the very end. Oh, and it’s definitely not a short read at a location of 14,317 on a Kindle reader, but don’t let the length of this book stop you. Gia, Josh, Luke, and Lexi will tug at your heartstrings and maybe stretch them taut a few times.
This romance between Gia, Luke, and Josh is intense and yet fulfilling in a way I can’t really explain. Other than they truly are not complete without all three in the relationship. That doesn’t mean that clear sailing for them because it is certainly not. They are comprised of two, high ranking, military men, one with a very dangerous job. And in their non-conventional relationship and you have a unique and intensely romantic story.

This, to me, started with way to much sex. So much in the first chapter I didn’t want to continue to read. However, I finished the book. I’m a bit torn as it was as good read but there were things left unfinished. Gia’s mother for instance. Why bring up that side story of there was little to no elaboration? Some things moved way to quickly and others were to slow. It ended to abruptly with an unfinished storyline. I was drawn to this being an Army spouse, some of this was to close to home and hit some sore spots with the PTSD. Overall, I give it 4
I went into this blind. Gia is supposed to be a surrogate. what happens when they all fall.for each other? What about everything that is going to spill out?
Polyamory For The Win!
Most fiction I’ve read dealing with polyamory focuses on the forming of relationships. This series picks up half-a-decade in and is concerned with a trio in it for “the long haul”, with a child and the desire for more.
Two partners are in the military, one suffering the effects of PTSD. I don’t know if Serena is writing from experience but the characters felt real (if a little too perfect, bu that’s why we read romance, no?) and I’d be happy to revisit them at a later time in their lives.
Very recommended.
Absolutely fabulous book!!! I loved the characters! I loved the story!! This is a book that I will definitely be reading again!! Serena is awesome!!!
I absolutely loved this book and the roller coaster ride it takes you on. It does deal with PTSD and depression and as your reading it it’s like your actually there and part off the story. It’s amazingly awesome and Serena delivers all her books as 5stars.
This is an extremely well written book that once you start you don’t want to put it down another night of early morning reading It covers some pretty intense topics but doesn’t become preachy in any way or form Just a great read that drew you in
This is the tory of Gia, Luke and Josh. Luke and Josh are high ranking military men Luke is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Military Police Josh is Brigadier General working in national security Luke is Bi Josh is Gay and Gia is the surrogate to their daughter Lexie. This is the story of their lives together from the initial interview of Gia do when their lives almost fall apart due to external pressures and PTSD. This is a book that handles some fairly sensitive stuff in a great way I would recommend this book

I found this book to be an intriguing mix of steam and action. The author wove the storylines together to create a beautiful story of survival as well as one of a mixed relationship that starts out with two men who are partners deciding they want to start a family. Meeting a woman who will click with them was the first step but just when things are starting to come together, life takes over and the family dynamic is threatened by factors out of their control. I loved the way the author created tension and steam. I enjoyed the journey these characters went on as the story progressed. I felt the emotions as each fight their demons to save the life they have created together. Well done.
I absolutely loved this MMF military romance by Serena Akeroyd. It was extremely in depth, and very well written. I was hooked from the first word to the last, and 5.5 hours later I had read an amazing Book. I loved Josh & Luke, and Gia was relatable as well even though she had a tendency to piss me off sometimes.
This is a definite must read for anyone interested in this genre!!

Captivating military dramatic MMF and MM relationship romance story. Strong engaging characters. A well-written book, I enjoyed reading. It was a pleasure to review.
Such and interesting story. I kinda felt like we got dropped off in the middle of the story when I first started it. However, the story more than made up for it! Steamy men and a relatable woman.
Forever Theirs is a box set of the four books that comprised this author’s “The Luck of Love” series. I had not read that series until reading them in this boxset, and in fact, this is the first from this author I have read. I was impressed by the quality of the writing and editing, but even more so by the emotional realism of the story. This isn’t a fantasy, over-the-top fairytale kind of contemporary romance, but rather one that deals with the kind of true-life struggles people in their situation might face including bigotry, PTSD, communication issues and family drama. I also both liked and disliked that the story opens already years into their established menage – liked it because I found this to be a unique starting point compared to other menages I’ve read, and disliked because I tend to like the relationship-building/falling in love portions the most. A few flashbacks are given at some point in the box set, and I enjoyed those immensely. This novel starting place did afford the opportunity for a deep-dive into their relationship and the aforementioned struggles, and I liked that quite a bit as well, as so many books give me that falling in love I enjoy so much, but then end before the real part of the relationship begins. Reading all of the books together in a row did cause a tiny bit of repetition in some places in terms of thoughts or issues the characters were having, and I would describe the series as steady over exciting. The steamy scenes are explicit, and those scenes are heavy in the first part of the book (so much so I mistakenly thought there wasn’t going to be anything else) before tapering off almost completely. Taken as a whole this is a really solid MMF contemporary romance, with a heavy military bent owing to both heroes’ jobs (I thought the military “stuff” was handled really well, though I am speaking from an Army daughter rather than Army wife viewpoint too) and I am super glad I read it. It doesn&’t have the glitz and dazzle of the billionaire type romance I generally prefer, but I liked it, and will definitely be checking out this author’s other titles.

Gia needs money desperately when she decides to be a surrogate she has no idea how much her life will change. This was an intriguing story with a lot insight in Gia, Josh and Lucas’ life when the real struggles of life settle in. There is a lot of love above all in this book; but there’s also anger, laughs and heartbreak too.
A lot to take in with this military romance. Three people with so much love to give and fight for. You do not want to miss out on the sometimes emotional and suspenseful moments in this love story. It may make you wonder if a HEA exists.

A Touching Moving Tribute to the internal battles waged by men and women in uniform and their families.
This book moved me from the hairs on my head to the tips of my toes. It’s tough enough to be in an unorthodox relationship but when one partner suffers the worst the war can offer it brings the realness home all the same.
The story of Josh, Luke, and Gia is a beautiful, sad and poignant.
It is really worth the read.
I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I loved this! It grabbed me from the first page, kept me til the last and enthralled me in between. Well worth your time to read it.
This was a great story it was my first by this author. I like the storyline but felt it was drawn out in some parts. The characters are well developed and have great chemistry and where very realistic. The couples relationship was really tested more than once. I was a little disappointed with the ending but overall this was a great story.
Loved the book. Simply awesome. I devoured it in a day. You’ll love this beautifully written book. Go get it and enjoy this amazing story.
