Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world … Total world record holder material.
So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.
It’s so romantic.
Violet is totally stoked to set a date.
Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.

This book was something, I wasn’t expecting to be as down as it was, but the downs made those beautiful ups even better! I just loved the epilogue and I love Alex & Violet, the Team, and their family. It was different from the typical Pucked series. Have no worries it was still full of laughs.
Alex and Violet are planning their wedding, except each time Violet thinks about it, she breaks out in hives. Throw in a more serious hockey injury and you got yourself a good dose of stress. Once Alex heals, they decide to go to Vegas and everyone knows what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…or does it?
You’ll have to read a find out. I recommend. The Pucked Series should be read by everyone, if they haven’t read it, their life is not complete!
Forever Pucked was the book I was really excited for in the series as I had adored the first one and couldn’t wait to read another story about Violet and Alex.
I’m giving it 3.5 stars because I think the beginning does not reflect at all the relationship that they had in Pucked and it made me quite uncomfortable.
However, after about a third of the book, it got so much better and I’ve found myself laughing once more at Violet’s clumsiness and at the super MC scenes (still my favourite superhero). I think the end is really good and exactly what I wanted from the book.
Now I can’t wait to read the last books in the series and know more about Charlene and Darren.
Alex and Violet are back. I was thrilled to be able to read a continuation of their story! u2063

All of Vi’s awkwardness is back in full force and hysterical, as always. Alex is still the sweet and supportive boyfriend, protecting Vi from their moms as they try to set a wedding date. u2063

But…this book also has a little heaviness to it. We’re able to see what can happen in real life that can turn your world upside down. That love, real love, is much more than words, gifts, and fun. It’s support and patience and unconditional love. u2063

The ending/wedding scenario was what I was hoping would happen the entire time. Just perfect for these two! u2063
It feels like it might get angst you in the beginning, but hive it time and you will get the Alex and violet you adore. Plus that does give their relationship growth. Violet can make any book in the world better. Alex is sweet as always and head over heels for our girl violet. She is so eccentric, she reminds me of me. Probably why I adore her so much. She is spontaneous and filter free you can’t just adore her. It is a beautiful end to the story that started it all.
Always a joy to read these characters!
I was expecting something like a novella, but nooooo… It’s a full length novel with awesome quotes!! I loved this book.
These two are so perfect fur each other. You can feel how much Alex loves Violet.. Soooo much. This book was so worth the wait.
Since Pucked, we’ve been waiting for this wedding, and it’s about to get serious, with no date and still engaged, hive-induced planning is still underway. Moms still involved, trying to get dates set, venues booked, and there still aren’t any set plans. Violet is still full of anxiety, unsure what to do, and can’t confirm anything regarding this wedding. Still happily engaged, with Alex laying low on any confirmed communication, Vi still isn’t ready to take the plunge. Then something happens that could be life changing, which puts things in perspective.
Without spoilers I don’t think I can say much more, but this story and the jokes, and oh my lord- the mothers in this book made it so worth reading. There is never any doubt these two love each other fiercely.. There’s never a question about that at all, but will this wedding ever happen? Will there be disappointed parents in the end ? You’ll just have to read it and find out. I promise you’ll regret it if you don’t!! MC + The Beave forever Pucked.
This book continues Violet and Alex’s story from book 1 as they prepare to get married. They deal with challenges that help them reevaluate what is important in their life and relationship. I really loved seeing Violet grow up a bit and how their relationship has matured over the time since book 1. I enjoyed the continued development of their relationships with their friends. I really love the epilogue.
This book was enjoyable. I love all the characters in The Pucked Series.
There will never be enough stars for this couple or this series. This series is one of my all time guilty pleasures, and this couple is the main reason why. I absolutely f*cking love these two. Everything about them, and their non traditional shenanigans. From their beaver and Super MC talk to their unconditional love for each other. These two were definitely made for each other. I don’t think anyone else would ever do for either of them. They are so funny, especially Violet with her no filter, I could read their books over and over and over…see guilty pleasure. I should be sending Helena Hunting a nice virtual fruit basket for writing these two and this series. Fantastic series. Seriously, I can’t say enough about how much I love these two and this series. Thank f*ck they are in her new series too. That made me giddy happy.
This was a safe read. Great storyline, these two overcoming a major obstacle with Alex’s career, and the way they persevere together at such a critical moment. We get to see our favorite Pucked gang, with their same over sharing and tmi moments. More of Violets filter free shenanigans, naughty af, funny af and really any other af you can think of. Same non traditional humor, and I loved every minute of it. And a fantastic epilogue and hea.

I listened to the audio version of this book. I liked this revisit with Violet and Alex. You definitely need to read “Pucked” before you read this one. It has a few chuckles, but I didn’t find it nearly as funny as the first book. Granted, Violet was not nearly as obnoxious as I found we to be in the 3rd book of the series.
I didn’t like the male narration on this book as much as I did in the first book. The voice was too soft, light, not deep enough for how I thought Alex would sound. The narrator wasn’t bad, but he did not make me think of Alex, with the Super MC, when he spoke.
This was a nice follow up to get to Alex and Violet’s HEA, and a catch up with the other couples. It really made me more interested in both Darren and Charlene’s story, and Lance’s. Especially with all the hints dropped in this book.
NO SPOILERS!
Forever Pucked was a fun, sexy, and absolutely hilarious romantic comedy in the Pucked series! I loved getting to see more of Alex, Violet, and all of the other Pucked series couples. Alex and Violet were perfect for each other, and I was so happy to finally get their wedding and a few other surprises along the way. Forever Pucked was full of heat, heart, emotions, and endless amounts of humor. Helena Hunting did a fantastic job with the continuation of Alex and Violet’s story from Pucked, and I can’t wait to read more of the Pucked series!
*3 Stars*
Not my fave of this series. I feel that it may have been better as a novella, rather than a full length novel.
I still love these characters and this world, and the book tackles some great issues, I just prefer Alex and Vi’s main/original story, as opposed to this continuation.
I did love how we get so much more of the other characters we know. Sunny and Miller are wonderful, as are Randy Balls and Lily. We also got a softer side of Lance, and wayyyy more Charlene and Darren, who in my Aussie way, would love to call Chaz and Daz haha. I am definitely intrigued for more of them in the future!
Also the parents were quite funny in this one too.
Overall a good book, just not my fave of the series.
The pucked story continues with Vi and and Alex’s wedding planning. Lots of update on other characters in this series. I listened to the audiobook. Narrators did a great job.
I am experiencing this series on audio and having a blast doing it! I laughed my way through it and even though some of it was while shopping (WalMart was never so much fun) I cannot express how much I am enjoying this entire book. Alex is alpha to the max, except when he is being insecure about where he stands in his manhood with Violet but really he has nothing to fear. After a devastating injury Alex is out for the rest of the season and now seems to be the perfect time for Vi to give Alex something to occupy his time by planning the wedding. That is if they can keep their mothers out of it. Moms and friends and players and don’t forget the beaver and there is bound to be more fun than can be contained! Now, on to the next in the series!
Definitely my favorite of the series!! I love Violet and Alex even with their odd quirks, they really are perfect for each other. I loved that all the other characters were in this book a lot. When they’re all together it’s absolutely hilarious! This book was cute, funny, happy, and sad all at the same time and I really enjoyed it. I was hoping for a bit more from the epilogue, but I was at least happy with the little bit that was included in it.
Alex and Violet have been my favorite since the series began (although Randy might be a close second). I laughed continuously through their first book and I was so happy to finally get more of their story. Forever Pucked is pretty much just a book about how Alex and Violet finally got married, sprinkled with Violet’s oddball-ness and the typical oversharing that is alway inevitable when the female characters get together in the Pucked series!
So many emotions tied up in this hilarious continuation in Alex and Violet’s relationship. The future mother-in-laws go about “helping” with the wedding planning sending Violet into a bit of a tailspin. Planning seems to get further out of her control making it difficult to make decisions until a climactic event pulls everything into perspective, and we see a different Violet emerge. Because of circumstances, a role reversal occurs and Alex takes the wedding planning into his own hands. As the story evolves, Violet and Alex’s relationship reaches a deeper and more emotional layer. We also get to revisit the supporting cast of characters which makes this a fun series to read!
So glad that we got a whole book to resolve the remainder of this couples story. It was perfect. The wedding troubles, the moms, the final outcome —- wonderful!

This series is a riot and Violet and Alex are still my favorites. This book had me stifling giggles in public and wanting to listen nonstop to the end. I love how the family of characters have grown throughout this series. While reading Forever Pucked I laughed, I gasped and teared up. These characters and the world that Helena Hunting has created is fun and memorable. If you’re looking for a romantic comedy series full of outrageous characters that make you laugh and swoon and good dose of sexy hockey players falling hard for the women who love them, then pick up the Pucked series by Helena Hunting.
Alex and Violet
So…will they or won’t they ..get married. Tough times for Alex when he’s injured in a hockey game. Violet’s job is a golden opportunity to advance at work, but will she be able to devote time to Alex and work? Snickers and tears.
