Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world … Total world record holder material.
So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.
It’s so romantic.
Violet is totally stoked to set a date.
Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.

This book was hilarious! I loved getting a look at Violet and Alex’s life after Pucked. They are so ridiculously funny and fun to read about, and it makes it hard to put the book down.
Color me SHOCKED. I make no secret of the fact that I did not care for book one of this series. Violet’s personality annoyed me beyond what I thought was possible from a fictional character. Seriously. But I read book two and really really enjoyed it and then I read book three and LOVED it. And it was time to go to the next book. This book actually seemed vital to the story line so I thought, I’ll at least give it a try on audio.. if I just cannot take it then I’ll stop and just skip this. Now, I find myself sort of wanting to consume book one again but this time in audio. Because I actually sort of liked Violet in this book. She wasn’t as bad with the word vomit and I didn’t think the term “monster cock” was uttered every other sentence. I really loved Alex and I loved getting the couples from books two and three. I’d originally planned to skip the Deleted Scenes of Area 51 but after this book, I’m thinking I’ll take the time! Ha!
So this book is following the stories we’ve gotten in books 1-3 and Alex and Violet are engaged. Violet is still properly freaking out about it because their mom’s keep taking it and running with it. Alex faces injuries in this book and Violet is sort of forced to take a look at her life and focus on the important parts. I thought this was a nice little edition to the series. The author didn’t try to wrap all of this up in a 100-150 page novella which I really appreciate. She gave it the attention that it deserved.
After loving Pucked Over as much as I did, I was especially eager to get to Pucked Under so I could have more Randy…. and fine, more Lily also. But the way Charlene and Darren are talked about in this book, made me understand why people were so pumped for their book. I fully intend to binge the rest of this series now. I’m totally understanding the hype surrounding this series. Even if you’re like me and you don’t jive with book one, I highly encourage you to continue reading. I am loving this group of friends. Even their parents bring hilariousness to the story. I had my headphones on and all was quiet and I realized I was busting out laughing… actual LOL’ing. I also highly recommend this series in audio format. I am loving it! I am not sure if Helena plans anymore books in this series but my fingers are crossed for more!
4.5 stars
It felt incredibly awesome to dive back into the Pucked world! The raunchy humor, the phenomenal f*cking, the minimal drama, the banter between my favorite couples, the monsterc*ck… I liked it all so, so much! There are a ton of memorable scenes in this book that EVERY fan of the Pucked series will enjoy! And the secret that one of the couples shared was FAN-FREAKIN’-TASTIC!!
The mystery of what exactly is going on between Darren & Charlene is KILLING me! I mean, I’m figuring it’s some sort of BDSM relationship but I need confirmation & details & I NEED it to come straight from the horse’s mouth; or preferably both Darren & Charlene’s!! Now, I’m left wondering if they’re going to get their own book because there was no glimpse of them in the epilogue (in person)… Please, please, please! 🙂
Looking forward to much more from the Pucked series. If not Darren & Charlene, then YES!, please bring on Lance “Romance” Romero next!
I adore this series. I think Alex might just be the perfect book boyfriend: alpha, possessive, giving, passionate, and romantic. While this book starts with what could be a life-altering incident, in typical Violet fashion she manages to only freak out in small increments and proves she has the stamina for life with Alex Water NHL star. Faced with planning a wedding, Violet’s biggest obstacles aren’t the venue or the planning it’s her mother and future mother-in-law. In Helena Hunting fashion, she weaves humor, sex and romance into this story. I absolutely love the characters and their quirkiness and I’ll be sad when it is eventually over, but for now I know I have a couple more books in the series. While I didn’t see the end playing out as it did, I couldn’t be happier with Alex and Violet’s HEA.
I read and listened to this book. The dual narration was Jeremy York has one sexy voice and when he reads the romantic side of Alex, I swear I could melt. Emily C. Michaels really brings out Violet and her crazy, but can equally share Violet’s softer side. I loved it. This will definitely be a relisten in the future.
Absolutely love this series. I can’t get enough of these characters and the crazy things that come out of their mouths. There were parts where I couldn’t stop laughing. When the group is together it’s never a dull moment. Alex is such a romantic, and has a heart of gold and wants Violet to be his wife. Alex & Violet are finally tying the knot and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The Beaver and the Super MC are back and they’re getting married and I’m so pucking happy!
Forever Pucked is everything I could have hoped for, and so much more than I could have ever even imagined, in the continuation of Alex and Violet’s unconventional and kooky love story. This book is full of laughter, silliness, and sexiness…all things we love about these 2 quirky characters. But it’s also touching and tender, and we get to see sides of both Alex and Violet that we haven’t before. Helena Hunting has really outdone herself.
This book is overflowing with the awesomeness of Violet and Alex, but we also get ample time with the other characters that we have grown to love over the the course of this series…Sunny and Buck, Lance, Randy and Lily, and it wouldn’t be a wedding if we weren’t treated to visits from the out of control mothers as well. The Pucked family is here in full force, and they all make for one heck of a good time.
Violet has got to be one of the most offbeat characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading. You never know what is going to come out of her mouth, and sometimes I don’t think she knows either.
“Well, yeah, of course. The Super MC and my beave are soulmates, so logically that means the rest of our bodies are soulmates, too.”
Alex is just as goofy as Violet, in his own unique way.
That I also refer to my dick as a person is probably something most people would suggest therapy for.
If ever there were 2 people meant to be together it’s these 2. And I’m so happy we have front row seats to their happily ever after.
“Super MC deserves a wedding all his own. We’ll have a private Super MC and beaver ceremony.” I’ve thought about this a lot. I’ve even researched the costumes. Not that Alex needs to know this. A beaver only gets promised to her Super MC ones in a lifetime.
Um, I can’t finish this book it’s boring for some reason. The women narrator made it hard to listen to I wanted so bad to finish it but she made it boring more than it was. Jeremy was good. I hope she doesn’t use this lady again so not worth listening to her. She sounded tired, and voice was eh plus read sort of fast.
I wanted to so bad to listen to it I may have to get it on ebook. Because I cannot listen to it on audible ugh!
