A USA TODAY BEST-SELLING NOVEL
I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I’ve poured my soul into my music, but I’ve … soul into my music, but I’ve never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.
And now I’m going back.
After ten years.
I hope I can explain that after all this time.
I still want her to be my forever girl.

A story of love, loss and second chances. The book takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions. Liam has a tragic happen in his life which puts things in perspective. A book that leaves you with a smile.
Just because you map out your future, it does not mean it will work out as planned.
Liam thought he could make a clean break to chase his dreams not thinking he was crushing Josie’s dreams. One missed message could have changed a decade. One death brings him back to the beginning with his “forever girl” and a family he did not know he had. …
Loved Josie and Liam, their perfectly flawed selves, their story of love, loss and redemption, the proof that you CAN always go back home… loved it all. And this is the first series in YEARS I have bought every single book of and hope never ends…
“Living the life that should have been mine” says the most selfish man in the world. Josie needs to remove the rose colored glasses and make Liam go away. Far far away. He left and changed his number and his manager either lied about what he said or just pushed her away, but she tried and he does not deserve another chance to be…him. He needed …
Great book
I love this book and series. It doesn’t matter how many times I read it, I am always left with big smile and feeling giddy.
This is Liam’s chance to get it right. He walked away from Josie 10 years ago and everything changed. He doesn’t know how much it changed until he goes home to Beaumont for his high school best friend, Mason’s funeral.
So …
I really enjoyed “Forever My Girl” by Heidi McLaughlin. This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I stumbled on her work through a recommendation on a blog. I decided to give this a try and I was pleasantly surprised and glad that I took the chance. The story is a sweet second chance romance with twists and turns along the way. If you are a …
I was very disappointed because I had started this book before I watched the movie and the F word was used way to much in the first few chapters. I don’t believe I got to far before I stopped. I watched the movie just the other day and I really enjoyed it and there was not one curse word in it. I think the book should have been like the movie, …
Truly one of the Best reads to date loved loved
As I read I fell in love completely with the characters. The book was easy to follow and you couldn’t put it down! Liam and Josie have their lives all planned out and then in the blind of an eye something changes and their plan is no longer their plan. Could a second chance be what they need to get back on track? You don’t want to miss out!
I read Forever My Girl as part of the Ultimate Reading Challenge to read a book that has been adapted into a movie. I have to wonder if this is one of those rare cases where the movie is better than the book because the book just didn’t do it for me.
The premise is great, but when you come down to it, Liam’s reasons for ghosting Josie for a …
3.5 stars
I will admit I bought the book to read it before I saw the movie. Forever My Girl is a sweet second chance/surprise baby book. It has chemistry, angst, and drama. Everything you need to stay engaged.
I’m curious about the next installment and will have to see which of our “friends” is going to fall next!
I suuuuper love the story
What an unexpectedly wonderful story. You feel for Liam as he gets quite a surprise, but he steps up in a big way…. But you understand where Josie is coming from too …heartbreaking and endearing at the same time. One of my favorite characters was the dead guy, but everyone played a great supporting role, especially the kids.
One of my all …
