I fought against fate, and I won. I made a deal with the devil to keep her.It was supposed to be over. We were meant to be happy.Too bad my enemies had other plans.Note: This is the conclusion of Peter & Sara’s story. It is strongly recommended that you read Twist Me and Capture Me trilogies before embarking on this book, as there will be major spoilers for those series.
What a perfect conclusion to Peter and Sara’s story. I’m nostalgic. I didn’t want it to end! Ms. Zaires has a talent for creating complex, multi-dimensional, and unforgettable characters who stay with you long after reading the story. They elicit your curiosity. They make you root for them. They make you fall in love with them. They make you crave more.
This book had it all. There was heart-wrenching action, heartache, tension, loads of twists and turns, and the off-the-charts hot, sometimes explosive, sometimes tender, sensual moments only Ms. Zaires can write with her special flair.
This series is one of my all-time favorites, and I’m not saying goodbye to Peter and the team. I’ll definitely revisit them in more than one re-read. If you like hot, dangerous alphas with sexy accents and strong heroines, this one is for you. I highly recommend!
This is the fourth book in Peter and Sara’s fierce love story and it is not a standalone. For years Peter has been seeking revenge for his family which led him to Sara. This allowed him to have a second chance at love. However, Sara has her needs and Peter needs to adjust. While time is passing and things appear to be going smoothly, a disgruntled FBI agent and his associate cannot seem to let the past go. When all is said and done, can Peter keep his promise to Sara? Who will come out on top? Anna Zaires has written one compelling ending to this storyline enhanced by bringing back beloved characters from her other series. This is one explosive, drama driven, and action laden read from start to finish. Tying up the storyline nicely is the addition of an epilogue. This is one author that I just cannot get enough of whose flair for dark romance is exemplary.
I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book and all opinions are my own.
OMG this book was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect end to an awesome series. It was action packed with page turning adrenaline included. It was also, dark as only Anna has the ability to write the most deliciously dark books that make you instantly want more. This is a great end to Peter and Sara’s story. Even though I hate that this is the end. I do look forward to hopefully more spin offs in the dark underworld that we have come to love. Great read it does not disappoint.
The last book in the Tormentor Mine series is finally available.
In this, after being able to marry the woman of his life, Dr. Sara, Peter Sokolov is happy to live a suburban life, in peace. Though internally he regrets not having finished his revenge for the death of his ex-wife and son.
What Peter did not predict is that his biggest enemy was with a revenge list against him, and his former boss Julian Esguerra, and Julian’s partner Lucas Kent.
Dices was thrown.
In a game where revenge speaks louder, the winner is only discovered with rules of life and death.
With an inspiring ending, Anna Zaires closes the love story that was born under the sign of revenge.

This is a entertaining story about Peter a man, a killer, a assassin, and a lover whom is very determine to keep her, Sara. This is the woman he fell in love with and he a loyal lover, husband, and friend to Sara and he will hurt anyone that try to harm his woman. This is the fourth book of the series. This is a wonderful , a happily ever after for Peter and Sara, with cameos of the character from Twist Me , Capture Me, this is a fantastic storylines books.
This. This is the type of dark romance I look for. It’s not a quick read -thank goodness!- and this allows for a full, detailed and developed story. From start to finish, this story develops, unfolds and builds while the reader is absolutely enthralled and dragged along for a hell of a ride.
Peter was the kind of amazingly complex character that I’ll be looking for, for years to come. But I know I’ll end up just rereading this series (this author) gleefully. Totally focused on whatever he’s decided to do, to take care of, to address. Tragically flawed, and unapologetic. The kind of character that stays with you.
Sara was wonderfully believable. Her push and against and resistance to Peter simply made sense. Written in a way that didn’t make me start to feel sorry for Peter. She was smart, wants TSTL, reasonable and caught up in something she never could have prepared for.
And then the story. Fantastic, somehow absolutely believable and so. Very. Hawt. This was amazing read. This series is well worth the time for fans of this romantic genre. And frankly, I can see as a possible introduction to new readers of the dark. However, that’s at your own risk and any dislike of the genre -not the writing or story- definitely shouldn’t reflect on the author or in the review.
The binge is finally over, at the beginning of this series I wasn’t sure if all the books were necessary to tell the story of Peter Sokolov, the man I loved but really should hate— but Anna Zaires left me stepped up with yet another outstanding book and series, leaving me completely satiated.
Forever Mine is the heart pounding conclusion of Sarah and Peter story and it was a welcome relief to see them get their hard won HEA.
This book starts off with the new Mr and Mrs starting they’re married life together… Just when they seemed to have the quiet suburban life, old rivals won’t let go and their lives are placed in danger, loved ones are lost and new allies are made.
This series has been phenomenal on all levels and I loved the roller coaster of highs and lows and pulse racing steamy chemistry that Anna Zaires makes you feel with such intensity.
An Outstanding series and a phenomenal story and conclusion!
5 FOREVER MINE STARS
Phenomenal! That is all I need to say about that!
Wow! What an epic conclusion to these 3 series tied together! Twist Me series, Capture Me series and the Tormentor series. It was such a wild ride and this last book really had me at the edge of my seat. I’ll never forget Nora and Julian, Yulia and Lucas and Peter and Sara. I loved how they all came together in this book and all got their HEA’s. Anna Zaires is such an amazing writer!
Very erotic, I loved it.
I read an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
What happens when an assassin falls in love with his victims wife? A tornado of emotions throws this hot assassin’s revenge plans completely off the rails. Peter has given up everything he has worked for in order to make the love of his life happy, but when your old life is soaked in blood, walking away from enemies just gives them opportunities to follow you. It will take a love so intense it’s dark to pull through this storm and stay together forever.
Oh, my, freaking god! What a spectacular conclusion to Peter and Sara’s story. I have to say that I was not expecting so much that went on in this book. I think one of the most surprising things is the new side to Peter that I got to see. In the first three books, Peter’s feelings start to break through the downright terrifying exterior causing some subtle changes to his actions. However the resistance from Sara really kept him on the edge so while he had an intense love for her, it was still shown in a bit of a frightening and dark way, but in this book things have really changed and I adored the new much more loving side to Peter. He is still doing almost everything for her, but the way he includes her, the way he interacts with her is just so amazingly loving and beautiful in this book.
Now Peter is not the only one who has a new side to them, Sara goes through a huge transformation. Sara has always been one of my favorite heroines of Anna Zaires. Her situation with Peter and how their relationship started and the way it progressed really made things a bit difficult for her with conflicting emotions that were beautifully played out and described. In Forever Mine, Sara is able to amputate those conflicting emotions and fully embrace what she knows she has felt all along. I just love how much her love for Peter shows through in this one. Honestly the way she and Peter interact and feed off each other’s obsession is astounding and really makes the reality of their past hit home. Peter started the war with Sara’s emotions but the resulting resistance was the thing truly tormenting them both all along.
Peter and Sara’s love has been hauntingly beautiful from the start, but the conclusion to their story had all the feels. With every thought and action all I could see was their passion and obsession with each other pouring off the page. However, even with all the changes and growth over this series, at their core they are still the people they first met. There are many tender moments that are painted in a darker light, but I absolutely loved that. Their love is so raw and real it transcends pain, brutality and the frightening depths of human desperation. It colors this darker side of life and romance in the most vividly stunning portrait that I couldn’t get enough of.
This story was absolutely phenomenal. I did not see so many of the exciting and heartbreaking things that happened in this one. The way in which Sara and Peter face all of this is just beautiful and amazingly well done.
Overall:
I adored the conclusion to Peter and Sara’s story. While I am so very sad to have to say goodbye to one of my favorite couples by Anna Zaires, I am more than pleased with how everything turned out. The intensity of their love, the wonderful action and plot, and the growth in this book completely blew my expectations for a fourth book in the series out of the water. I can say with absolute certainty that this book series is a work of art that no dark romance lover should miss.
Would I Recommend It:
YES. Yes, yes, yes. If you love dark romance or even just like dark romance you HAVE to read this book. Please do keep in mind that this is the conclusion to a four book series that does need to be read in order, however each and every book in it is spectacular. However, keep in mind this is a true dark romance and does have elements such as forced relationship and kidnapping that might act as a trigger to some.
So I received ARC for Forever Mine and let me tell you like any other fan of Anna’s I was super excited to receive it and dig in right away.
Firstly it was perfect ending to an awesome couple. Anna brought all the couples from the series that actually made sense as to why these characters are this way.
Secondly I really didn’t like Sara in Book One but than she grew on me and I started to understand why she was the way she was. I believe Anna wanted her readers to dislike Sara initially but than love her later on as their story developed further more.
And finally, I am really sad to see them to say goodbye to all of them. I hope that Anna can consider to write about next generation of characters related to all macho men and subtle women in the series. I absolutely loved it. Definitely worth 5***** and more.
I fought against fate, and I won. I made a deal with the devil to keep her,It was supposed to be over, We were meant to be happy. Too bad my enemies had other plans.
In this final book and conclusion to Sarah and Peter’s turbulent and unorthodox relationship we are taken into a story line full of action, brutality and strength. I loved this last book the story line is an edge of your seat, page turner that is so addictive you just cannot put it down, the chemistry and powerful love between the two characters is just amazing I am just sorry this series had to end.
4.5 stars
This was easily my favorite of all of Anna Zaires’s books. I was glad that the story didn’t end with book 3, even though it could have. It was good to see the charachters from the other two series, though Sarah and Peter were always my favorite. I’m hoping we get to see more of Peters crew, and that we’ll continue to check in with all the previous book characters that we’ve grown to love
A fantastic finale!
This is the fourth book in the Tormentor Mine series. The end to Peter and Sara’s story, Peter has earned himself an enemy. This enemy isn’t going to give up until he has revenge. He will take vengeance against all that get in his way. He’s after everyone that has assisted him. Meaning he’s after the twins, Anton, Julian and Lucas! Peter and Sara are still living in the town near her parents. But, FBI agent Ryson has not given up interviewing family and friends of Sara. Sara is back to working as a doctor, but Peter wants more time with her. Peter is a very dominant man who has some difficulty dealing with his wife’s need for independence. Sara has her own concerns when it comes to Peter and how he takes things. They still have hot steamy sex any chance they can! Even in their car, where the neighbors might see. Peter still feels that he must protect Sara at all times. He continues to have her watched and pick her up from work. If he can not be near her himself, he still regrets that he had to be away from her for so many months. Sara’s parents come to her home when something bad has happened on the TV news. Something good happens too. I won’t tell what happens next because I told like to give away too much. But suffice it to say Anna’s writing grabs the reader and sometimes they will laugh, cry or want to throw their books. That’s why I’m one of her biggest fans. You need to read all three prior books and if you want to really get to know Julian and Lucas. You need to read the Twist Me trilogy and the Capture Me trilogy in that order. If you like paranormal romance than you should also read The Krinar Chronicles. Anna does not disappoint!!
This book was well worth the wait. So sad to see Peter and Sara’s story come to a close, but I LOVED it.
Anna Zaires has such a way of creating the darkest heroes and humanizing them in a way that you can’t help but fall in love with them. Peter is definitely my favourite one out of all of her dark characters and I just love how soft he is only with Sarah.
This book shows Peter and Sarah trying to adjust to a boring, civilian life together but it doesn’t last very long as Henderson plots against him and all of his allies to bring them all down.
It was amazing seeing Julian, Nora, Lucas, Yulia and Peter’s old team back and interacting with Peter and Sarah. It brought a whole other dimension that I loved. I cannot wait for Yan, Ilya and Anton to get their own books and see what else is in store for all of them.
Forever Mine is one twisted mind F**K that will your, gritty little heart away!
Where the twist never stops and the desire never seems to halt. Oh, it’s just the balm that this dark romance girl needed to fulfill my desires!

The wait for the conclusion to the Tormentor Mine series was worth it. Peter and Sara’s relationship cemented when Sara finally realized that she couldn’t live without the man who waterboarded her when they first met.
The staid Dr. Sara was yanked out of her ‘normal’ life and thrust into a violent underworld filled with mercenaries, cartels, and government contracts.
The Tormentor series included couplings from the same world. Nora and Julian of (Twist Me) two people who didn’t belong together, but eventually Julian convinced Nora she had no choice about it. Lucas, Julian’s henchman, and Yulia, (Capture Me), were a couple who went from enemies to lovers, and now Peter and Sara, the couple with shifting trust and control dynamics, completed each other, though Sara didn’t realize that was the way it should be.
Just like the first two series, The Tormentor drama had excitement and chemistry couldn’t be bottled. The plot, intensity, and passion were consistent.
Anna Zaires knows how to pair up lovers, develop their character, and create a world you don’t want to leave. I was addicted to her stories’ world and returned to it with all three series.
Thank you, Anna Z. for the great stories and hours of enjoyment.
