When self-proclaimed hopeless romantic Claire Forester discovers the key to her memories in the most unlikely place, she could never imagine that it would tear her world apart and make her wish that she never remembered at all…
I loved debut novel Frozen Memories and Forever Memories is no different.
Cassie has done an amazing job showing all the struggles Boh & Claire go through in their relationship.
If you haven’t read book one you need to backtrack and do that now!
This book has hidden secrets that can tear people apart when the truths come to light.

A sweet girl, a sexy bad boy and an unforgettable cast of characters
I’m in love with this sexy, suspenseful, small town romance. All the characters are great. I want my own Miles. He’s so supportive and protective of Claire and I loved his sense of humor. When you discover an author can make you fall in love with their supporting characters, you know you’ve found a gem!
But on to Claire and Boh, their romance is both sweet and intense. This second Angelbay book takes the reader on even more of an emotional roller coaster ride with lots of twists and turns and many more secrets revealed. Claire rocks Boh’s tough guy world and I enjoyed watching her come into her own. Boh’s side of things is equally intense as he deals with his troubled past. It’s a rocky road for both of them but that makes the HEA all the sweeter.
Faber’s written a page turner for sure that left me wanting more, especially with the teaser at the end for McKenzie and War’s story in the next book of the series which promises to be smoking hot. Can’t wait!

And so it continues! Claire, Boh, and the rest of the gang return in this just as intense, just as steamy sequel to Frozen Memories. Alas, I’d read the first book long enough ago that I had some trouble remembering the details as I dove back in. Or, in retrospect, I may have just been surprised for Claire’s story to resume as she finds solace for the heartbreak of Boh’s leaving in the last place I’d expected.
It doesn’t get less dramatic from there either, her lapse naturally adding tension to an already stressful situation. Between normal events unfolding in Angelbay Harbor, and Boh, Warwick, Vince, and crew’s troubles spilling into many of their lives, there is no lack of action (of any kind).
It seems everyone is struggling with something in this installment. Claire with losing Boh and coming to terms with her returned memories. Boh with his ex’s troubles that stretch so much further than even he knew, coupled with the death of a father figure. McKenzie’s crisis of duty versus living the life she wants. Warwick’s ability to reconcile being an untouchable badass and being pretty darn whipped by McKenzie. From thrilling to amusing to sexy to intense, this book takes you through so much. And while some things come together beautifully, there’s still so much more that needs to be resolved. Here’s to hoping book three comes quickly!

The plot thickens! Things get more complicated in the clashing world of Claire and Boh. I got more sucked into their emotional tangles, and the author did an excellent job showing the undeniable bond between the two. I felt the ache Claire has for Boh and he for her.
Overall, I enjoyed reading their story and was rooting for this odd-couple. They are odd because Claire and Boh can’t be more different from each other. She is a goodie-two-shoes, sweet, and timid, while he’s this rough, tough, heavily-tattooed guy with a criminal past. And often, I wanted to shake Claire to toughen up a bit (though, I understand she is internally strong as she has pulled through a lot of turbulence in her young life), so I cheered when she finally told off Dean and stood up for herself and started taking things into her own hands.
There was an interesting twist in this story that complicates Claire and Boh’s relationship even further (Olivia and Uncle Jimmy), but I found this part a bit confusing and unclear. In the end, I feel this issue still hangs and unexplained. Maybe the author is planning to continue the mystery into her next book. If that’s the case, I can’t wait to read the next book.
