SAVE THE DATEMr. & Mrs. Jesse Thornton and Mr. & Mrs. Devlin Cutter Request you save the date for the wedding ofLucy Daniels Thornton toHarris Cutter March 26thPlanning a wedding should have been easy, especially with Aunt Emmie and Harris’s stepmom, Natalie, to help. Those two could rule the world from their phones, so I thought letting them help plan our wedding would make everything … their phones, so I thought letting them help plan our wedding would make everything effortless.
I was wrong.
I wanted a small and intimate ceremony, but they wanted it to be huge, something that would overshadow every other celebrity wedding that had come before it. Because I felt like I owed it to my mom, I agreed, but now things were spiraling out of control. Details like the cake, the first song at the reception, and even picking a dress—gods, the dress—were all things that gave me a panic attack.
My wedding wasn’t mine anymore.
It was a freaking circus.

Forever Lucy was the fifth and final book in the Lucy and Harris series by Terri Anne Browning. The series should be read in order.
It was a great follow up to the couple as well as a pretty realistic perspective when wedding planning can get out of control. But through it all, I loved Harris and his protective ways as well as the relationship between Lucy and her father (Jesse, book two from the original series, The Rocker). I also loved how all of the secondary characters – from the many original and spin off series – were front and center. It was hard to follow the characters at times since it had been a while; however, I loved seeing and hearing from them all.
Additionally, I have not yet tackled the Tainted Knight series and it was a great segue into it. This book appears to align somewhere in the middle of that series but should be easy and fun to pick it up. All in all, Forever Lucy was a fun and entertaining read.
What a nice way to the series. It was a sweet way to the Harris and Lucy’s story. Really enjoyed this one.
Good wrap up to Lucy & Harris’ story. It was full of angst, surprises, laughs, swoon & many appearances by some of our favorite characters from the Rockers series!
I was so happy when the moms/aunt stopped going all mother-of-the-bridezilla but I actually felt a little sorry for Layla. When they started laying into her, they REALLY laid into her. Yes, she was a little self-absorbed at times during the wedding planning & distanced herself from Lucy but man… I didn’t feel like it was all her fault. I wished Lucy would’ve stepped up a bit more & voiced her opinion to everyone, earlier on.
Loved that Lucy & Harris got to have their dream wedding; complete with a gorgeous gown, a unique cake & a perfect venue. And the surprise Lucy had for Harris after the ceremony was #priceless!
But I gotta say… how cruel was that unfinished storyline for Jace & Kin?! I NEED to know (like yesterday!) why Jace was being such an a**hat to Kin & who the hell this Eden chick is because she needs to get gone!
Not sure which book is up next in these sometimes intertwining series’ by this author but I’m ready to have it in my hot little hands now. 🙂
Side Note: Some of those kids’ names though… *insert eye-roll here*
The finale to Lucy & Harris’s story. We met them in book 2 of the Rockers books. We loved them through out the rest. We could see a possibility of what could be with them, and now its here. Their HEA, and everything that comes with it. But Lucy and Harris had no idea what was in store for them!
I love Lucy & Harris! They are amazing together, but they are still so young, and susceptible to pressure from their parents. When they begin planning their wedding, they have all the help they could ever hope to have, and then some. This book proves that bigger is not always better!
This book was the perfect ending to the Lucy & Harris Story. I enjoyed visiting with them, and with their families, all of the wonderful characters from past books. There were plenty of surprises, tears, and laughs in this book, and I’m kind of sad to see it all end. That being said, I can’t wait to see what the author comes out with next!
