A fun romance with fantasy and a HEA.
Fun read
What would of do if you were the only two people on a deserted island? Well we are about to find out the characters are amazingly written with the chemistry being off the chart. The storyline flowed smoothly.

So good you may find it hard to put down once you start reading. There’s twists and turns that keep you pulled in to the story. Well developed characters as well.

JD Middleton, a stressed-out workaholic chef, had sworn off woman. They were a distraction to his work, to the passion he devoted solely to his career. One of his buddies described him as the only man who could spend an hour cooking a 3-minute egg and making dishes no one could pronounce! So his buddies Ben, Chuck, and Ralph pulled out an ad that said “The Fantasy Maker is Looking for a Few Good Men.” Then they all stared at JD. It reminded him of the old TV Show “Fantasy Island” and he was curious. They all agreed to fill out the application.
JD had envisioned that The Fantasy Maker would make his dreams come true as he would relax by himself on a peaceful island beach with no distractions whatsoever. Instead it felt more like being stranded on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere! But when he met Sara, a biology teacher, they did not get along and his dream was more like a nightmare. When they finally agreed to work together for survival, things started to change. Will they make it alive until this “vacation” ends? And if they do survive, will they perhaps have a newfound respect and interest in each other to take back to civilization with them?
I, too, was reminded of “Fantasy Island”, although this experience here was nothing like that TV show. It was a clever story line, though, and kept the reader’s interest. Can JD and Sara find the time to fall in love on their island? Or is this trip strictly an exercise in survival skills?
Stranded on a deserted island after accepting a vacation from The Fantasy Maker, JD is surprised to find a woman he did not request and no food or water. The couple have some serious adjustments to make in learning to survive, then learning to love. Of course, there is a dog!
I enjoyed this story with well written characters and as in all he author’s books, the dog steals the show!

I can not praise this book enough. I loved it so much that I read it in one sitting. As I was reading it, I could imagine being on this island as the characters.
When JD agreed to go on this vacation , he never imagined what he was going to be doing. He thought The Fantasy Maker was going to make his dreams come true. He would be able to relax all by himself with no noise or distractions. He needed this after working all the time as a chef in a restaurant that was not even his. He had dreams of opening his own in the near future however money was his only hesitation.
When he is dropped off on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere, he is surprised and confused. He was told he would have everything he needed when he got to his destination, however when he arrived there was nothing there except the raft he arrived on.
This is when he met Sara. She is a biology teacher who is wanting to open her own floral shop. She took this new job as a opportunity to save the money to make her dream come true. When JD and Sara finally meet on the island, they do not get along. They fight and bicker for several days until they finally come to a truce.
Will JD and Sarah get through this vacation in one piece and live happily ever after? You must read the book to find out.
