Ryan Parker had always loved Sienna Ashton, but gave up on his fantasy years ago.
After working as an undercover FBI Agent in Los Angeles, Ryan gets a phone call telling him to come home to the small town of Keeneston, Kentucky. The woman he thought he was over is now in serious trouble.
Sienna Ashton fell in love with Ryan Parker too late. He was gone from her life before she realized what he … realized what he really meant to her. Now working as a sports psychologist, Sienna finds herself helping others figure their lives out. She thinks her chance of happily ever after is long gone until a murder brings Ryan back into her life and entangles them in a battle for their heart and their lives.
Ryan and Sienna discover there is more going on than originally thought and now the two are in the fight of their lives. It doesn’t take long for fireworks to ignite as passion and danger drive the couple toward a fate they never saw coming.

Loved the characters and small town atmosphere.
Great addition to the series
I really enjoyed it! I read the first 2 series of the Bluegrass novels. Having lived in the Bluegrass for over 3 decades (although I’m now on the other side of the country) I had fun reading her descriptions of the area. I heartily agree with her descriptions of the miserable hot and humid summer months. That’s one reason I am enjoying being on the Olympic Peninsula in WA.
Great read
The best series, from beginning to end!
I really enjoy all this author’s books.
When a psychologist and an FBI agent reconnect as adults, can their childhood romance be restarted? What happens when murder and terrorists involves the two of them brings a fascinating story.
Enjoy this author and this was one of the good ones. Highly recommend her work.
Difficult to keep up with the continual introduction of new characters, who bring nothing to the plot line of this book, and only act as a bulk filler. The same thoughts are expressed over and over and over again and the dialog is so awful I found myself just flipping quickly through the last several chapters. Ms. Brooks has been added to my “do not read this author” list.
Really good read
This is the first book in the Forever Bluegrass series. This is a must read. If you are a fan of Kathleen Brooks and have read her Bluegrass series than you will love this series. In this series all the children are now grown up and looking for love. Waiting for the next book in the series. Come on January. This book is about Cole and Paige’s son Ryan and Will and Kenna’s daughter Sienna.
I have been reading the Bluegrass series for a few years. Loved the original characters and now see the children grow up.
Love her books and characters
This series is great.
The book didn’t hold my attention all the way through.
The ending was not believable. If you go through an explosion then you need to go to the doctor not have sex. Other than the ending this story has several other unbelievable moments, but it is sort of like an action movie that has you in your seat with the book wanting to see what happens next. Good read, some romance parts are beyond compare, but most of it is action and mystery some funny. Just a good overall story to take a break from the predictable romance novel. Good read.
Always a good story teller. Have read about 6 of her books and never disappointed.
I have to admit, I found it hard at time to keep all the secondary characters straight.
have been a fan of this author for a long time, look forward to your future books.
The characters have become like family. I never tire of reading about the town and the people. I can’t put the book down until I have finished it. I look forward to reading the next book.
