“Sophie Love’s ability to impart magic to her readers is exquisitely wrought in powerfully evocative phrases and descriptions….FOR NOW AND FOREVER is the perfect romance or beach read, with a difference: its enthusiasm and beautiful descriptions offer an unexpected attention to the complexity of not just evolving love, but evolving psyches. It’s a delightful recommendation for romance readers … looking for a touch more complexity from their romance reads.”
–Midwest Book Review (Diane Donovan)
“A very well written novel, describing the struggle of a woman (Emily) to find her true identity. The author did an amazing job with the creation of the characters and her description of the environment. The romance is there, but not overdosed. Kudos to the author for this amazing start of a series that promises to be very entertaining.”

I enjoyed the book, the basic story, the characters and look forward to reading the next one in the series. I felt that maybe there were more unfortunate events than necessary for me to feel attached to the characters, but overall I really liked the storyline.
Loved this book, lead me to the entire series. I just HAD TO KNOW the entire story, not just the couples love story. But the love story between parent and child, both young child and adult chil. This writer uncovers so many layers as she writes, in such a gentle loving way. Even the way they go about rehabbing the old Inn, shows a depth of love for each other and for detail.
This is an amazing series. One I have kept on my ereader to read over and over again. It’s that good. You will love it too.
Reading this comforting nice love story, set in a realistic town in Maine has started me on a whole continuous series of this same story. I find the characters interesting and easy to get to know and enjoy their lives growing and changing with each new book in the series.
LOSER main character. Having dinner on 7th anniversary with noncommittal live in boyfriend, woman expects proposal and is SHOCKED that he gives her perfume. (Why buy the cow when you get the milk free?) The next day she suddenly stands up for herself against an abusive boss and SHE quits. Then obtains her car that has been abandoned in the airport LONG TERM lot several years ago (and is recognized by the attendant). She throws her shoes and jacket out of the car while driving into a snowstorm to get to a family home abandoned 20 years ago-and is again SHOCKED at having no electricity, water, heat, etc.
Really this woman is to dumb to live. After reading about 20%, I left her to her own devices shoveling out 3 feet of snow with no coat and in tennis shoes (after she broke a window in the boarded up house. Hope she freezes.
And I’m loving this series. The best books I’ve ever read
There is nothing good about this book.
One of the best ever. Will read it again.
Meh
Book was awesome. Really held my attention.
on the slow side.
A great read! Didn’t want it to end!
sometimes I like series books with a little cliffhanger at the end. I wasn’t jazzed about continuing the series for some reason. characters were kind of one-dimensional.
Loved it.
I really liked this book and can’t wait to read the next in the series
Loved this heart warming story. Makes you stop and think how you treat people and don’t judge people. Can’t wait the rest the next step in their lives.
