Forever and All the Afters…can I just marinate in that a bit!?! That is seriously swoony mojo working to come up with that…Forever and All the Afters. (Still sighing and fanning myself)
Pike is the dream. The One to hold all others to. Legit. That is his place in life. I love the friends to more trope. But I love the intensity of their connection a thousand times more!
Second chance at forever…
Second chance at the one…
Second chance at all that was lost…
A second chance to remember who you truly are…
This sweet love story has some bitter nastiness mixed in but as I tell my kids…
How do you know you are truly happy if you’ve never been sad?!
K.I. Lynn gave us happiness and the reality check needed to show it. Forever and All the Afters is highly romantic and a pick me up for even the most stoic romance readers.

I loved this book so much, I had to give it 5 stars. It’s now a personal favorite of mine. Not just because of the characters, but also because it covers important issues faced in the lives of many people.
This book is some what an emotional read and there are some graphic scenes that might be a form of trigger for some. There is physical, emotional and sexual abuse that takes place throughout this book. Author K.I. Lynn did a great job, bringing attention to these issues.
The story is about Aubrey, who is presently engaged to Caleb and planning their upcoming wedding. She runs her own design firm, while Caleb runs a house flipping business. They combine on a few projects together. One day while getting coffee, she runs into her ex and first love Pike.
They haven’t been together in ten years and now Pike is back is home for good. He wants Aubrey back and he’s willing to fight to get his first and only love back.
Aubrey lost herself after her first love Pike ended things once he left for college. The story starts off with Aubrey, discussing her life and how she is now preparing to marry Caleb. From the beginning, I became engross with Aubrey. She struggles with insecurities and trying to lose weight( which we all can relate to on some level).
With Caleb, Aubrey has to be a certain way to please him. It can be seen from the first couple of interactions between these two, I could feel the disconnect. Caleb, was annoying my soul, I never hated a character like I did him. He was demanding, controlling, jealous and an asshole!!!
After ten years, Pike returns home, to find Aubrey very different from the girl he left all those years ago. They start running into each other and right away, as a reader you get to see a different side of Aubrey, she was more relaxed. Pike, was supportive, understanding, funny and charming.
The surprise for me was Nora, she is Aubrey’s best friend and my favorite character. She holds no words, she was honest with Aubrey and didn’t just sit around letting her friend make a huge mistake. Nora is the kind of friend that everyone needs in their corner.
” Every woman is perfectly imperfect and that’s what makes us beautiful”

E. V. E. R. Y. T. H. I. N. G. This book is sooooooo goooood!
Seriously. Aubrey & Pike FOREVER
It was raw, real, so heart wrenching!
High school sweetheart who always intended to return to each other and something went awry.
She moved on. Is engaged to a real “winner”.
If you’re looking for second chance love with a strong plot, phenomenal dialogue and an awesome ending, look no further!!!
Highly recommend!
K.I. Lynn
Ms Lynn is a newer author for me and I am still getting to know her work, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when reading Forever and All the Afters. The idea of a long lost love resurfacing at crucial moment was interesting and I was curious about the execution.
I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say that i liked the way the scenario here was handled. Aubrey and her high school boyfriend Pike are easy to like and root for, it didn’t take long before I wanted them back together.
This is mainly Aubrey’s story and it was hard to see her rationalize certain situations, but I think it’s a trap a lot of women fall into. It made me want to reach into the book and shake her! There is just enough of the story from Pike’s point of view that it became easier to understand why he did what he did and see the heart of the issue vs the perception.
Forever and All the Afters is a unique read and it makes me want to spend more time with Ms Lynn’s work.
I cannot explain how much I loved this book. I read my first K.I. Lynn book last year. I dove into her work like crazy! I thought that she couldn’t get better, but she blew this one out of the water for me!!
I love something about a triangle love story. This one is just that, kind of…
Aubrey Hart gave her heart away when she was a teenager, but she is now engaged to a different man (Caleb). And of course (being a second chance love story) Pike Warren walked back into her life. Actually, I would call it barging back into her life unexpectedly.
As the story goes on, you find out why Pike has Aubrey’s heart and you are rooting for them. They are perfect for each other. I am not going to tell you how she picks or how it ends. But I will tell you that the story is well written and keeps you on your toes.
K.I. Lynn, you are a miracle worker with words! You know how to get my heart in knots and then put it back together again. I am so glad that I took a chance and discovered your work. You have a new fan for life!

** spoiler alert ** Forever and All the Afters by K.I. Lynn was definitely an emotional book to read that kept me hooked till the end. Pike and Aubrey show unwavering and strong love for each other even after years being apart. I enjoyed reading about their history together relationship was magic together. Pike is definitely a character I will remember.
I find it generally hard to read books where there is another person involved… that being Caleb. I was initially uncomfortable reading Aubrey’s inner thoughts and comparing her first and current love but as you get through the story, it will be very easy to realise who is definitely worthy of Aubrey and why. I also was a big fan of Nora.
KI Lynn has always been one of my favorite authors. I fell in love with her and her words when I stumbled across Becoming Mrs. Lockwood. I then began to download and read as many books of hers as I could. I fell more and more in love with her style of storytelling; her enigmatic characters and they’re journey to one another. Each character is perfectly flawed – making them so easy to connect with. You feel each and every thing that they go through right along with them. These are my favorite kinds of stories. The ones that make you feel everything deep down in your soul. The angst, the yearning. The pain and the love. The good, happy moments that make you laugh out loud.. And even those sad moments that have you wiping away those pesky tears from your cheeks.
Forever and All the Afters has quickly become one of my all time favorite books. It’s a story that grabs your attention and keeps you captivated from page one. Pike and Aubrey’s story is just so easy to lose yourself in. Who doesn’t love a second chance romance? Of course, there’s a history between these two; having been each other’s first love. Time and distance took their toll on them, and we fast forward ten years..when life has moved on and it seems..So have they.
Pike is just so.. Ugh. What’s the right word for him? Perfect. Romantic. Swoony. I completely fell in love with him and wanted him for my own. Aubrey is a strong, smart woman who is so likable. You fall so easily into their story and their journey – before you realize it.. You’re nearly done with the book.
I couldn’t recommend a book – an author – more. KI Lynn is absolutely one of my “must have” authors; I’m always eager for every new story she brings to life. This book is absolutely stunning. It’s a beautiful story that shows you real love exists.. And so do second chances.
Forever and all the Afters I found to be and emotional second chance romance. I loved reading and following Aubrey and Pike’s story. I can’t wait for K.I. Lynn’s next book.
Oh is this book one emotionally heartbreaking one. It takes a subject which is tough for a lot of people and KI Lynn writes it so eloquently that you are in awe. I can understand the heartbreak from Aubrey over Pike. They have quite the history and for all of it to go up in smoke like it did, I fully understand her insecurities. Pike, even though what he did was a jerk move, loves Aubrey with every fiber of his being and seeing him fight for her was beautiful. How he was there with her every step of the way when it all when down with Caleb. Aubrey, even with everything she endured, is still a sassy fighter but she is also broken. Pike mends her in so many ways that it is beautiful.
Overall, this story is raw and emotional that takes you on a ride of past moments to the present and what is before them. Lynn wrote a stunning story with this one that I could not put down at all. I highly recommend it!
First let me start by saying this book is a second chance romance. It is not a love triangle and there a definite good guy and bad guy. I was so impressed with this new to me authors storytelling.
Aubrey and Pike were high school sweethearts and soul mates that separated when Pike attends college out of state and doesn’t return. He shatters Aubrey s heart an his promise.
Years later Aubrey is working her successful company and engaged to Caleb. Things are not as wonderful as it appears but it all intensifies when Pike returns to win Aubrey back . Wonderfully emotional and heartfelt second chance romance.

This is the first book I have read by this author and loved it. Loved the characters and the storyline. A must read.
Well this was unexpected. From the blurb I expected a standard second chance romance but typical this is not. The author explores a very hard very real and harrowing subject as part of this book. I’m not going to say what it is. I feel that this aspect of the book is best revealed slowly as it will make it more realistic.
Pike and Aubrey’s history is fully explored so we are not left guessing about what happened. Now reunited Pike is determined to get her back and I liked that about him. I alternated between wanting to hug Aubrey and wanting to shake her. However there is a big but that I can’t explain.
I really enjoyed the story and the dynamics between the characters.
This book sucked me in and kept me there. I just couldn’t stop reading. I wanted to read faster and slower at the same time as I was desperate to know what happened next and wanted the book to last longer too. The characters were amazing and the storyline was brilliant but emotional in places. Absolutely fantastic.
This is the first book by K.I Lynn that I have read and oh my gosh was it good. It wasn’t an easy story to read and at times it was downright painful, however I felt like the author put alot of thought and care into how to tell Aubrey’s story. I look forward to reading more books by this author as this book was well written with great characters that were well developed. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by Booksprout for an honest review
This is my first book by this author and I loved it. Pike and Aubrey were a great couple. I could feel the love they had for each other and it was a wonderful feeling. Where can I find a guy like Pike? I need something like that in my life. I had tears in my eyes as I was reading this story. I understand completely what Aubrey was going through. She didn’t know what she was getting into until it was too late. She thought he wanted what was best for her and it wasn’t. He was slowly pulling her away and keeping her to himself while doing what he wanted to do. This book was close to my heart. I am glad that she was able to get away.

I am a sucker for first love second chance romances, and K.I. Lynn delivers in spades in Forever And All The Afters. From the first page, you felt Aubrey’s pull toward the life she thought she was supposed to want and the love she knew that she needed. Pike was the type of hero we all root for – especially in light of who Caleb was, and the way he treated our heroine. If you love emotional, angsty romance, you owe it to yourself to read this book.
Forever and all the Afters by K.I. Lynn is an emotional second chance story that will take you on a slow burning ride. Pike and Aubrey were high school sweethearts who wanted to share forever together. But then Pike left for college and never came back. Heartbroken, Aubrey tries to move on, but struggles, until she meets Caleb. Now she is getting ready to live her happily-ever-after with Caleb, but Pike is back.
Without any spoilers, Aubrey’s life is turnaround once Pike is back. What does he want and why is he back? He is back for her, but she is not the same woman she once was, but he knows he loves her. But Aubrey has moved on right? Caleb is the man she is engaged too and has been there for her. While Pike left and never looked back. Her choice is easy, right?
Forever and all the Afters by K.I. Lynn was full of angst. It made me want to scream and throw my eReader one moment and swoon the next.

Happy reading!
NO SPOILERS It is my first time reading on of K. I. Lynn’s book and it has me hooked cant wait to have more time to read more of her books. Aubry/Caleb/Pike’s story is one of beauty, heartache and second chances. This story is so emotional and believable it had me drawn in for the very beginning and it show that love can transcend time. This is one romance HEA that you need to read to understand why Pike and Aubrey get their HEA.

Aubrey and Pike was that totally in love, until the day he leaves for school. Aubrey tries to move on, she meets Caleb and thinks she’s found her forever. Then suddenly her past catches up with her, will it change anything? Pike gets a wedding invitation that changes everything. Can he reclaim the love he lost?
This is a slow burn, second chance romance that’s an emotional rollercoaster.
Aubrey has moved on since Pike shattered her heart a decade ago. Now in a relationship the last thing she’s expecting or wants is for Pike to reappear. It soon becomes clear that while Aubrey has moved on, she’s definitely not over Pike. The more time she spends around Pike, the more the cracks in her relationship become clearer and as Aubreys eyes are opened, her life and everything around her starts changing.
I really enjoyed this book. It was emotional, it frustrated me, I adored one of the men, the other not so much. If you like second chance romances, you’ll enjoy this one.
