For Tech Sergeant Landon Russo, determination isn’t just a … isn’t just a word, it’s a way of life. Joining the US Air Force allows him to prove his worth, and he takes the values of integrity, service and excellence to heart in every decision he makes. Until on one fateful night, in celebration of a much-deserved promotion, a simple misstep sends his life flying into a tailspin.
As both men fight to regain control of their lives, they’ll soon discover fate rules. Will they ignore the signs and risk everything or will they take a chance and trust their destiny to be together…forever?

A great follow up to Always.
Two men looking to find themselves, one caught up in grief the other recovering from a stupid accident. A beautiful story of how they find in each other what it is they both need to heal and grow.
A highly emotional story that will have you in tears, it will inspire, energize and keep you turning each page to find out what Landon & Robert’s future will hold.

“It’s okay to chase feathers in the wind, son. But remember…It’s not enough to have the feathers. You must dare to fly.”
Forever is book two in the Always & Forever duet by Kindle Alexander. Most people may have read the first book in this duet, Always, years ago when it came out. My experience was intensified because I read them back to back. My emotions were on overload after finishing the first book. That made reading this book even more meaningful. I believe that for the rest of my life after reading this duet, my perception of love is forever changed. That there has never been a truer love than between first Avery and Kane, and in this book, Robert and Landon.
This book first begins I believe about nine months after Always ended. Robert Adams is in a bad place. Guilt has taken over his life. He feels at fault, that he should have done more. He has lost interest in his medical career. He got special permission to travel to Germany and work in a military hospital there while he tried to piece his life back together.
For Robert, life has always been about science, about proven theories. Never about fate, or signs. But when things start to happen, he is forced to try to open his mind and allow himself to accept things he might not be able to explain. That is how he ended up in Germany, and how he found himself standing at the door of a patient named Landon. A man he felt drawn to in an unexplained way. A man who would change his life.
Landon Russo, an Air Force Tech Sergeant, might have done a really irresponsible thing that made him end up in this hospital room. But then Dr. Adams walked in and he knew no matter what he had to go through, it was worth it.
It took Landon and Robert awhile to figure things out. But just like Avery, Robert knew he had found his “one,” and he was not letting him go without a fight.
“Robert Adams was everything Landon had always wanted but never imagined he could have.”
Landon can’t help but feel like he and Robert come from completely opposite ways of life. That he could never fit into Robert’s world. That it’s only a mater of time until Robert figures this out. But he doesn’t have the will to walk away. Robert has no intention of ever giving Landon up. Landon brings him a peace he has never felt before. A completeness that he’s never been able to find.
This book is Landon and Robert’s journey. They are two men, equal in their intensity and ability to love, and in their need to succeed in life and to bring honor to their families. In each other, they found an epic love that most people only dream of.
There were a lot of memories shared in this book of Robert and his Dads from the first book. We see things we didn’t see before, shared moments between them that made Robert the man he is. I admit that some of this was hard for me because my emotions are still so raw from the first book. But at the same time, it helped me heal. We also find out that Landon has a special connection to them as well. Once again, we see that fate has a hand in things here.
As I said before, this is an epic love story, as was Avery and Kane’s before them, that I will forever hold all future love stories up against. I will never forget any of these characters.
“Dare to fly.”
Forever feels like coming home for me. The long-awaited follow-up to Always sets in motion a steady kind of rhythm as Dr. Robert Adams finds himself at a crossroads in his life, buried in a grief he just can’t seem to shake. With a divine intervention of sorts literally laid at his feet, the almost-immediate chemistry he has with a patient named Landon Russo sets his life on a new course that is filled with as much trepidation as there is hope and it is truly one beautiful ride.
Kindle Alexander takes a different kind of approach for this book, one that is clearly less angsty than its predecessor. But, however, there is no shortage of emotion and pure feelings. What Robert creates with Landon is a love that seems to fill in the holes in both of their souls, finding that they simply complete the other, even if their upbringings couldn’t be more different. There is plenty of push back as Landon can’t quite seem to accept the wealth being an Adams really means. But they work through all the issues with humor, respect and at times a kind of desperation that isn’t unlike what Robert’s fathers went through in their lifelong love affair. In fact, Kane and Avery are a huge part of this story and their ethereal signs to Robert when he least expects them add just the right touch and encouragement to make things right with Landon.
I see plenty of Kane, in particular in Robert, with Avery a definite influence on sister Autumn. We get to catch up with her as well, a force to be reckoned with as she continues the Adams family’s political life. She provided the support to Robert when he needed it most and her love and acceptance of Landon provided a bit of sweet which I really loved, even when she was busy with both her own expanding family and her career.
This book almost reads like a day in the life, as Alexander titles each chapter with dates showing us where we are in Robert and Landon’s lives. It’s not the tedious day to day, but instead it’s a sweeping journey showing their struggles, their not always confident decisions and the absolute adoration they have for one another. Oh and not to mention, the insanely HOT trysts both in and out of the bedroom that Alexander is known for. It honestly doesn’t matter where Robert and Landon are, whether public or private, these two can make the other ravenous, and I don’t mean for food, but just a look or a brief touch. The passion is incredible, each and every time.
What I take away from this book most is how the Adams family continues to be a close-knit and loving family no matter what may happen down the road. Kennedy as the feisty matriarch definitely adds her no-nonsense approach at the most perfect of moments. Paulie is always in Robert’s thoughts and even ‘prompts’ him to follow his passion. And then there is Landon’s own crew, who take to Robert immediately and forge a relationship that just adds to their crazy happiness.
And it is happiness that drives this story most of all. Sure there are plenty of bumps in the road. Plenty of sacrifices. But in the end, a love as strong as Robert and Landon have is never taken for granted. Instead, these two very sexy men show time and again that they are willing to do whatever it takes to make it work, no matter the distance, the demands of careers or that niggling of doubt that this all real, that might have a time or two.
Quite simply put, Forever is a beautiful affair of the heart. Warm and fuzzy feelings are for the taking in this well-written and wonderful book. Worthy of 5 feathers and more.
There are no words to explain how much I love Avery and Kane but Robert and Landon, oh my heart.
We are re-introduced to Robert after losing both of his dads. His life is upside down, he has no will nor want to take care of himself.
Do you believe in fate? Signs? Destiny?
Ever lasting love?
After the past 9 months Robert follows a very small sign that leads him to Germany to a hospital where he believes no one knows him nor his family.
Enter wounded soldier Landon.
Landon ends up in the hospital unable to do most things for himself, enter Robert.
Little by little their lives become intertwined thanks in a huge part to Avery and kane.
I laughed I cried. I am hoping and praying there is going to be a third book in the series.
Wow, just wow.
Always is one of my all-time favorite books, so I was hesitant to read Forever as I was worried it would fall below my expectations. I should have known my worries were for nothing.
Kindle Alexander has managed to give Robert and Landon a unique love story of their own without losing the strength, devotion, and hope that make her books so great. Anybody who read Always can sympathize with Robert. We know his pain and we can practically feel how much Landon relieves his burdens. Landon and Robert are beautiful complements to each other.
5 stars is not enough to describe how good this book is. Give it a chance, you’ll be glad you did.
Perfect!
Always is one of my favorite books ever, so when I saw that the sequel was coming out I couldn’t wait to read it. In Forever we get Robert’s story. After losing his fathers and blaming himself had my heart breaking for this man. Looking for a sign he ends in a place where he meets the love of his life, Landon. These two men had me fighting for them and falling in love with them all the way through. My heart is happy now. I totally loved this book!

This story follows the epic Always that was released in 2014, and features Kane and Avery’s son, Robert. I went in not knowing quite to expect as it had a lot to live up to. It’s a beautiful slow burn romance as we see the guarded Robert, ease off on the tight hold of grief he had for the loss of his fathers. In quite a spiritual and emotional telling, military man Landon enters Roberts life and sparks something in him that makes him want to change the course of his life. This was a sweet, unhurried and romantic sojourn with both men recognising that some things are meant to be. We have some great supporting characters here in matriarch, Kennedy Adams and Robert’s kickass sister, Autumn. If I could relate this book to a feeling it would be a welcome warm breeze on a Summer’s day and shows us that sometimes, you just have to trust in fate.

If there ever was an author that I don’t need to worry about loving her writing than that’s Kindle Alexander for me. I was at 15% and was already so in love with Robert and Landon it was ridiculous.
This story has the heat and passion we’re used to with Kindle Alexanders books but what sold this story for me was the connection these two men had. It was the need they had to do anything for each other. It was the lines they crossed together instead letting their insecurities tear them apart. It was the way the relationship was 50/50 at all time.
It was simply a great love story.

5 Star Review of Forever (Always & Forever #2) by Kindle Alexander
I have come to expect that a Kindle Alexander book will draw a variety of emotions from me; Forever was no exception. The characters have a great deal of depth and I fell hard for Dr. Robert Adams and Tech Sergeant Landon Russo.
Forever was an emotional roller coaster of a read, at times bringing me to tears.
Both Robert and Landon are seeking something and believing that it may never be found. Their attraction to one another is intense and so scorchingly hot that it is almost overwhelming.
Both need to do some serious soul searching, if they are to follow their hearts. What will happen when their passion ignites? Will they take a leap of faith? Can they make their love work or are they destined to be torn apart?
There are so many layers to this story that it felt as though Kindle Alexander was peeling an onion, one layer at a time.
As with previous books that I have read from Kindle Alexander, Forever was exceptionally well written with strong, yet vulnerable characters who will soon find their way into your heart, I know they did mine.
Book 1 in this series Always is my favourite love story so when I heard we were getting book 2 Forever I was excited but a bit scared to, would Forever be as good or even better that Avery and Kane’s love story and did I want another book to take their place at the top of my must reads, well first off Robert and Landon’s love story is epic, it’s a beautifully written romance that is up there joining Always at the top of the pile. I’m not sure my words can do this book justice and I don’t want to write a review full of spoilers so I’m just going to tell you how Forever made me feel…..
Robert and Landon’s story is an emotional one, it’s about overcoming hurdles to be with the one you love, it’s about realising you really can’t live without this person in your life and it’s about give and take. This may be an emotional ride but there are also some very witty movements from Robert’s Nonnie who at times stole the show. This book made me cry, it made me smile but must importantly this romance stole a piece of my heart that I’m not sure I will ever get back, I was captivated by the love, by the humour and I will certainly be re reading as I’m sure this is one of those books that each read gives you another perspective on true love. There is no doubt this writing duo of Kindle Alexander is very talented but once again they have exceeded all expectations with Forever.
I received a copy of this book for an honest review
This book from the amazingly talented Author Kindle Alexander came to my possession at a time when the world is going through an unprecedented situation, COVID-19 arrived and changed the shape of the world and life seize to continued as we knew it, solace for some of us came to be in a form of books, in this case, an exceptional book.
Forever was a completely charming and heartwarming story. It tugged my emotions, it reduced me to tears on many occasions but it also filled me with joy.
Robert and Landon’s attraction is off the charts, from their very first encounter the connection is palpable, they completely envelop you into their little cocoon, and allow you to be a voyeur into their sexual and emotional discovery.
After reading Always and loving that story too, this almost felt like the page had turned and we carried onwards.
Robert and Landon both are seeking their HEA and in order to achieve that they must dig deep into their emotions, fight their personal demons, take that leap of faith and get rid of the emotional baggage that is preventing them to achieve the perfect bliss.
Sometimes fighting for what you want makes achieving it the most rewarding.
Once again, Kindle has written the perfect book, I will be FOREVER grateful for the opportunity to read and review this book.
5 STARS.

Another beautiful love story for the fabulous duo that is Kindle Alexander!
While you do not necessarily need to read Always first, your reading experience will be so much better if you do.
Robert (Kane & Avery’s son from Always) is lost after a hard and devastating loss. He follows what he believes to be a sign. Working in a hospital in a foreign country, Robert meets a patient named Landon. Drawn to Landon, Robert begins spending his free time with the handsome military man. The fire between these men burned in every wonderful word!
There are many references to Kane & Avery and Autumn and Kennedy are also prominent side characters.

This book made me cry HAPPY tears near the end. Not like Always!

POV… third person
Standalone or series… suggest reading after Always for all the feels but CAN be read as a standalone
Hangover… slight
Recommend… yes
Reread… yes
Kindle Alexander is a favourite MM author of mine. This story is a long awaited end to the wonderful book Always. Forever follows through with Avery and Kane’s son Robert, his story and the love of his life Landon. We get detail of his sister Autumn’s life too. Robert is guided by feathers appearing as signs. Landon is a Air Force man. The love these two have is true and pure. Lots of twist and turn for their journey but end in a HEA.
A great follow up to Always… two men looking to find themselves, one caught up in a grief the other recovering from a stupid accident. A beautiful story of how they find in each other what it is they both need to heal and grow. A highly emotional story that will have you in tears, it will inspire, energize and keep you turning each page to find out what Landon & Robert’s future will hold.
This is a MAGNIFICENT love story done in true Kindle Alexander style. This is the journey of Robert, a physician looking for his purpose in life. Landon, is a true military man, hospitalized for a prank gone wrong in Germany. These two couldn’t be on further ends of the spectrum. When they meet destinies collide. Fate reaches in and stirs the pot. This is their journey of a lifetime of love. Insecurity, stubbornness, hot tempers, determination, hot sex and lots of feathers. These two very different men learn to navigate life and each other. These are characters you won’t forget because they live in all of us. Robert’s Fathers had their story in the book ALWAYS. A memorial, book I HIGHLY recommend you read. Because it’s a book you will NEVER forget but you don’t need to read it to understand this MAGNIFICENT Book. This is Robert and Landon’s journey and you will remember them for this beautiful love story. Words can’t describe how much I appreciate and enjoyed this book. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!! I ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BOOK ALWAYS!!!!!
When I first learned that the Kindles were teaming up to make the second book in the Always series, I was both thrilled by the concept and hesitate about going back there.
Always was my very first MM book, the character’s of Avery and Kane to this day still play a big part of my love for the MM genre.
Their love story has never left me. I cried happy tears but it was the emotional heart breaking tears that still stay with me.
Forever, picks up a year after the death of their daddy, Kane. Both twins are beyond devastated of losing both their father’s within months apart. However, it’s the death of his daddy, Kane that sends Robert into a downward spiral.
The guilt and blame he puts on himself cause of the fast decline in Kane’s health. Robert being a doctor who had saved many nameless people failed in saving one of the most important figures in his life.
A feather from no where sets, Robert off into a brand new direction in life. One that finally, has him forgiving himself for things that were not in his control.
He meets and falls in love halfway around the world! Robert and Landon’s relationship so many times took me back to the early days of Kane and Avery’s. It was if those two were right beside Robert and Landon through their whole journey together.
Robert and Landon brought out the best in each other and face the turbulence in their relationship on things that were not in their control. These two also brought back the good memories of Avery and Kane. It was like they were both their sharing in their happiness, triumphs, sadnesses, as and over all soul mating.
Don’t be afraid to read this book!!
First let me preface this review saying that I loved Always. I love Avery and Kane, their unconditional love, the soulmate aspect of the story and the true love and romance even though it was a heartbreaking end.
As for Forever, oh em gee!! I love Robert and Landon. I loved reading their connection, a true soulmate love and romance just like Avery and Kane. Even though at times I was a little weepy, it is not like what happened in Always. And I do believe Avery and Kane had a hand in the romance of these 2 men.
Loved catching up with Autumn and Nonnie and a few others. Kylie is such a sweetheart and the epilogue is so gratifying.
You need to read these 2 stories for yourself, these 4 men are deeply ingrained in my heart.
Robert and Landon’s story in Forever was an amazing and beautiful way of completing Avery and Kane’s in Always. There aren’t enough stars.
I loved this book. You don’t have to have read Always, but I suggest you do. There are enough backstory and information you can follow just fie ( i did not read Always first but sure wish I had) though I followed just this fine and it did not affect how I enjoyed the story.
The characters are all likable even the secondary ones ( I loved Robert’s grandmother Kennedy). The story is so sweet and has so much feeling and emotion it will tug at your heartstrings I promise!
I loved the soulmate theory, how they met and how the story flows through five years of these men’s lives.
My only issue was I felt the story went a bit long and there were just a bit many sex scenes for me but having said that the book is great.
If you love soldiers, doctors, chefs, soul mates a sweet romance with lots of hot man-sex you will love this. ( you may need a tissue or two especially around the beginning.)
Always was a beautiful love story that touched my heart and left a mark, staying with me for a long time. When I found out that we would get a continuation of Always as well as Robert’s story I was over the moon excited. I knew it would be another epic story. And just like Always, Forever now has a place in my heart.
I loved that along Robert and Landon’s journey we got pieces of Avery and Kane. It was like reliving their journey while getting a new journey with Robert and Landon. The feather’s were a beautiful tough and made the story so much more special.
This story was beautifully emotional written with lots of heart. Kindle Alexander has a way with words pulling you into a story and captivating you from beginning to end.
