I love the Everest brothers! I think this one was the sweetest though. Bennett found his happily ever after in Paris. I loved how strong Winter was even when she thought she wasn’t. She was a good person raised by a man that didn’t deserve her. Bennett saw in her his other half. Not all of the story is sweet, so strap in for drama. Once the bad guys are taken care of they will be together forever!
I am an avid SL Scott Reader and she always knows how to write her pants off. And she knocked this one way out of the park!!
Bennett Everest meets with Mr. Nobleman of Nobleman Inc and has been given a mission in order for an $8 billion contract to be signed.
MISSION: Bring Winter home.
Bennett gets to Paris and happens to see Winter and slowly introduced himself so that he may have a conversation with her. But what he didn’t know taking this mission was how beautiful she was and how haunted she was by something he can’t quite figure out. He gave himself two days to bring her home and that plan was derailed quickly when he found out she was more reserved than he thought she would be. This would be one mission that would take time.
Winter Nobleman lives in Paris, France and has just met a stunning giant of a man but can’t help but really like who he is. She doesn’t need to let her guard down. You never know what will happen next. So she is polite to this stranger and can’t help but feel a pull to him. Like he is someone she should know. But her fears tell her not to get involved because anything can happen. She doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt. She has hurt enough people to last for several lifetimes. She only wants to make things right. And that’s what she is doing.
This was on of the most action packed, lip biting, sitting on the edge of your seat books I have read in a while. Oh and don’t forget the romance aspect to help tie it all together.
Suzie never lets me down when it comes to romance aspect with her characters and this is no exception. She put so much thought and work into these characters and the circumstances they are in to make such a huge impact! There was sooo much going on, but it was the perfect amount of chaos that you didn’t get lost.
This is such an action packed book with some romance, feels, nail biting moments that is a must read for everyone!!
Thank you so much to Suzie for the free review copy in exchange for my honest opinion!
Wow!
Bennett Everest is a good guy. To the point that he heads off to Paris with minimal information as a favor to a potential client. Winter is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma when he finds her. That is the set up Ms Scott gives us as we dive into Force of Nature.
The story behind our meet cute is layered and dynamic. There is a budding friendship/romance, a mini slow burn of a relationship, mystery, intrigue, action, and family.
Bennett and Winter are both characters that are easy to like and root for, even when not everything makes sense right away. Bennett’s brother (and their wives) make a strong appearance as a secondary cast and add to layers of the story.
The action of the story is fast paced and the whole thing is well written- making it hard to put down! Force of Nature is a stand alone work that connects to other stories via the Everest brothers. One of things I really liked here was that the story is truly independent of the others. Yes, there are connections, but they make the story stronger if you’ve read them all.
5 AMAZING STARS!! This book was amazing!! I was glued to Winter and Bennett’s love story with all the drama. Their love story has all the feels with lots of suspense that keeps you turning pages. This author know how to write phenomenal stories that keep you 1-Click on each book she writes. I highly recommend this book.
The Everest brothers are back and they get better and better with each book! Force of Nature is a insta connection, insta love romance with a feisty, but vulnerable heroine and a hot and sexy sweet talker hero! Bennett and Winter have the best chemistry! I instantly fell in love with both of them and could not put this book down! It wouldn’t be a SL Scott book if there wasn’t a little suspense and mystery! Force of Nature is a must read!
Bennett and Winter are a force to be reckoned with!
It’s still late March, but I know this book is on Top 10 list this year!
I finished it for a while now, but I couldn’t find the right words to describe what it meant to me and what I felt.
This book is a standalone between Bennett Everest and Winter Nobleman, but it’s connected to Everest (Ethan Everest and Singer Davis) and Bad Reputation (Hutton Everest and Ally Edwards). But don’t you worry, because if you haven’t read the previous books, you can totally get the plot. The book is really centered around Bennett and Winter, but the other ones are a great plus.
Since I started the story I was hooked. This was not a jumping-the-gun love story, their feelings had space to grow, but their connection was so incredible. From their first words to each other, I could feel their chemistry and a bond so deep and so tangible I could almost touch it.
Their banter and their conversation were profound as if they knew each other forever, even if they had just met. They had an intelectual intimacy that was so rare not just in real life, but in books too.
It was like bonding souls, something that you can not deny and you can’t let go. You need to explore it because you don’t find that every day, and if you are lucky enough to find it one day in your life, you have to grab on to it!
“And that’s when I realize that we may not have been together our whole lives, years, months, or even weeks, but my heart recognized hers the moment I laid eyes on her. Taking the day we’ve had and adding them to this feeling that we’ve known each other for a lifetime and cared about each other longer, it’s easy for me to believe”
Their story was somehow fast, but the way the story was told showed us that it took the necessary time to grow and create roots. I believed in their connection, I bouthg their chemistry, I cherished their love, that was fed through the toughest of times. But in the middle of winter , their feelings were a force of nature that couldn’t be contained (all puns intended).
For some books, when you have so much about the hero and heroine, you get bored and tired, you need a change of pace, a new scenery. But in this book, the majority of the scenes were about the main couple, and that was what I wanted!
I loved seeing the other Everest brothers and their loved ones, they added color to the already artistic plot, but Bennett and Winter set the pace and stole every scene, and I wanted them, and I wanted more, and I wanted it all, I wanted to soak them up and feel everything they were feeling, either good or bad.
“As we lie here, words aren’t needed as an unspoken contract seals us together. In the golden light of the afternoon sunshine, I start to fall. Slowly at first, and then as if I’ve cannonballed into the bliss, I feel light and free to swim in this love because his heart is mine, and mine is his”
Bennett, the youngest Everest, was totally climbable (that’s a word). He was sharp and smart, he was fast in his banter and playing with words. He was also protective and caring, he was loyal almost to a fault and he wore his heart in his sleeve.
He embraced Winter with all his heart, because that’s how he does things, giving everything he is. He supports, he believes, he encourages, he gives you the strength you need to fight your battles, but he fights them with you.
“Gray days can’t hold a candle to his sun. His six-foot three frame has solid gold insides”
Winter, my favorite season, represents it perfectly. Strong, intense, chilling but cozy, sharp but snuggling, she has the force of destruction of a winter storm, but she also gives you the comfort of a great book and cup of hot chocolate. She is powerful and beautiful and oh so intriguing. It’s not about the sun and the light. It’s about the storm, the strong weather, the strength you need to survive. It’s about being the only color on a gray day.
“I thought I had everything and then you came along and turned my gray days blue”
Oh, and another great character: Paris! The city had a life of its own and was fundamental to the story, and I was so absorbed in it culture, its beauty, its romance, la vie en rose.
As the plot went on and we knew more about Bennett and Winter (specially her story and background), I was more and more addicted.
The story started already intense and with so many feelings, and in a crescendo so much more feelings started to take place all at the same time. But don’t get me wrong, it was’t a mess of emotions, it was a poignant sinfony.
Winter had to endure so much, but she didn’t loose her humanity and empathy because of that. On the contrary, she was strong enough to put her own safety in jeopardy to help someone she thought needed a hand and their loved ones.
The book also showed about how the abuse can wreck you and cheat you into thinking you are the one to blame. The abuse reaches so many levels, and it was shown to us in a sensible way.
Bennett and Winter’s story was about strength, love, forgiveness (specially of youself), family (the real one), cumplicity, loyalty, connection.
Bennet was a knight. Winter was a warrior. Bennett was a force of nature . Winter was a force to be reckoned with . And together they exploded.
An Everest in the Winter? They were a match made in heaven.
Winter Nobleman is complicated. To say the least.
It was supposed to be simple. Go to Paris, find a client’s daughter, and close a multi-million-dollar deal. Easy. Then I meet her. Stormy blue eyes, quick wit, and the secrets she keeps on the tip of her tongue make me forget my mission for a moment, or six, and why I’m in Paris in the first place—to bring her home.
Distracted by her beauty, I fail to notice the others lurking with missions of their own.

Holy freaking cow! I lived this book and was hooked from the first few pages until the last! Winter and Bennett’s story was flawlessly written and beautiful. Their story was unique and so incredible. Can’t recommend this book highly enough!
Force Of Nature is a book that is wide-ranging in scope with multiple storylines that all blend beautifully together. The Everest men, Hutton, Ethan and Bennett, are independently wealthy as owners of Everest Enterprises. Bennett is negotiating a deal with Ross Nobleman, owner of Nobleman Inc., for a media deal. Just as Mr. Nobleman is about to sign the contract, he gets a phone call that prompts him to add a clause to the contract. “My daughter is missing. Bring her home and I’ll sign the contract.” With nothing but a photo to go by, Ben heads to Paris to find her. Winter Nobleman is living a frightened and dangerous life. She doesn’t know who she can trust, but she’s being watched by depraved men and waits to be tormented again. She spends nights reading at a bistro to be at peace. In Paris, Ben spots her at a sidewalk café and marvels at her beauty. He saves her from a drunk trying to pick her up and his quest to earn her trust is on. She trusts no one, so Ben is going to work hard to prove to her that she can rely on him. They get closer, but she runs. Even with Ben’s protection, trouble finds them both. Just when you think a storyline has been resolved, it shoots in another direction. Dramatic twists, surprising revelations, rivalry, treachery and steadfast love quickly move this story to its end. Everything comes full circle and they all find a fitting end. Brilliant!
Winter is truly a warrior and a self made intelligent woman.
Bennett is charming and a protector by heart.
What I liked most is that Bennett quickly recognized that Winter’s self esteem has been diminished, taken to the ground and he works effortlessly to nurture it back to life. I loved that she appreciated the little gestures even more than the big ones. The simple things make her happy. With Bennett she feels loved and treasured which coming from a man, it feels like a new discovery to her. Plus also liked her character because a hurt soul like hers identifies and connects with others not to feed on them but to elevate them. Even if it is at her expense.
This book has a bit of everything. Action, passion, a lot of sweetness and it even has a bit of cheesiness but in a good way. With good heated moments too. The story manged to get me desperate at times. You know when you are watching a movie and are arguing with the TV screaming “NO don’t go there! Don’t do that!”? I had those moments here. Because I wanted them to be smarter at some situations. And the curios part about that statement is that my desire for them to be smarter was not attributed to them making bad decisions all the time. Not at all. It is because I was that invested in the story and I didn’t want them in harms way. But good thing they did not listened to me because at every turn there is one extra detail needed to unravel the story. One more hurdle to jump over for their love to solidify.
This is absolutely my favorite romantic suspense of 2019! SL Scott has it all in this incredible story. I fell in love with big brother Ethan in his book Everest, which was another angsty and amazingly emotional book. And of course there is charming brother Hutton in Bad Reputation who gets his girl in a big way and I thought the swoon factor was high there. But nope, Bennett Everest is a Force of Nature and Is.The.Most.Perfect.Book.Boyfriend.Ever!!!!!!! This story captures you from the very first words and doesn’t let go until the beautiful ending. The connection between Bennett and Winter is so romantic and flirty, it’s like watching a movie having them wander around Paris together. The suspense is intense, so much so, it feels again like a movie, something out of the Bourne Identity Series! The brothers, Singer and Ally all make you want to be a part of their family so it’s understandable how Winter feels so loved by how genuine they all are. This book will easily become you next favorite read!!!
Force of Nature has moved to my number one list by S.L. Scott! Her first release in 2019 and she has made it an insta-win in my heart. I have been raving about Force of Nature these last few days and telling everyone that comes near that they need this book in their life. All the wonderful nightly inspirations that the author was teasing us with were perfect! It set up the stage for this story.
Bennett was fallen to Winters spell immediately. I loved our heroine as she was bold and a lady warrior. The twist of the story was when I thought I had it all figured out, then the author throws you in for a loop. And this will keep happening throughout the story. This book was EVERYTHING! The heartache will tear your heart to shreds. The passion will be felt all the way down to your bones. You get the Everest brothers at their best. Bennett and Winter rise from the ashes like a phoenix. You will feel their power as they battle the monsters lurking in the dark.
Force of Nature is suspenseful, thrilling, and emotional! There is so much lies wrapped around the truth that I could only hope that our hero and heroine will have their HEA. #2019BookAtItsFinest
Oh my goodness. I think S.L. Scott saved the best of the Everest brothers for last. Because Force of Nature was dumb good! It was romantic and dangerous and sexy and twisted. I was glued to my kindle from the first page and didn’t want to put it down.
I liked Winter. She was selfless and brave and sassy and cautious. She had to be considering the situation she found herself right at the core of. But when she met Bennett, all bets were off. She was drawn to the strong and sure man. There was something about his presence that let her relax and just be in the moment- not thinking seven steps ahead. And could Bennett have been any more swoony? The way he just let himself be with Winter was sigh inducing.
Little did Winter know that Bennett was keeping his own secret. And when she reveals the truth of just how tangled her mess it, and who was behind it, Bennett stepped up and in to try and set things straight. Talk about heart pumping. These two were thrown into some perilous situations and how they made it out unscathed still blows my mind.
But oh what a sweet little turn things took when the clue that they had been searching for all along turns up in the most unlikely of places. It was bittersweet for Winter but also just the thing she needed to put her past to rest and keep building her future with Bennett.
Honestly, I could not put Force of Nature down. This book is everything I want. Heat and random bits of humor. Mystery and danger. Family and friendships. It didn’t hurt that the rest of the Everest brothers, and their ladies, were along for the ride. But it was Winter and Bennett’s whirlwind romance that made this book thoroughly addicting.
The magic of words
To say that I have been eagerly awaiting for this book is an understatement. For weeks now, this author has been giving little snippets of this amazing story via pictures on social media. Each picture lured me in because they were aesthetically sublime. I figured that they were there to just build up the anticipation and would help enhance the story even though I know from experience that this author doesn’t need any help because she always creates an amazing story. However, I was wrong. These pictures DID help her story but not in the way that I thought they would. It was as if by seeing those pictures the story came even more alive. Each scene in the book took on a new life. If I closed my eyes I could see the pictures and words become one as the story unfolded. This was MAGIC.
I need to preface this review that while Bennett could “technically be considered part of series following his brother’s book, it is completely a standalone. I have adored these brothers from the beginning. I was always told to not pick favorites but I couldn’t help myself. Bennett was always going to be my favorite. After reading this book, I can see why. He made my jaded heart into a believer that love can be selfless. He was this mountain of a man that lived up to his last name. Winter. This poor damaged girl with a warriors spirit and resilience. Together, they made me melancholy for Paris and also made me shake my fist at the Universe for not letting me experience love like this when I spent a summer there.
This book is filled with love, suspense, and secrets. However, it ultimately showed that love can always overcome any obstacle. This book is hands down my favorite of the brothers and in the top three of ALL of her books. I cannot recommend this book enough.
This book is truly a standalone story however you do get to see and hear about family and friends from previous stories. This story kept me involved and intrigued from there very first page. I had not read any of the other Everest books prior to reading this so these were all new characters to me and I was captivated by them all. I immediately bought the other books. Bennett and Winter are both amazingly strong people on their own but together they are unstoppable. I love the way they started out casually as friends due to the secrets they were both hiding but they both knew that the chemistry was too strong to fight. When they finally give in to that chemistry it is super sexy & super explosive. Even though it was love at first sight they both worry that the secrets they have will tear them apart. When the truth comes out are they strong enough to face it together or will it be the end for them? I couldn’t put this book down and was seriously disappointed when “adulting” got in the way of seeing what would happen next.
S.L. Scott has delivered another amazing story that had me on edge again and again. Just when I thought it was safe to breathe, more action, more drama, more surprises take hold. This book never slows down and never stops delivering the awesomeness.
She has taken an everyday romance and expanded it way past my expectations. It is far more than a boy meets girl, boy falls for girl romance. The intricacies of this storyline kept me glued to the pages with shock and awe. She amazed me with all the tidbits she threw in that were clues and would lead to more throughout the book. Every detail was well thought out, every piece of this story had a purpose, an explanation, a special place in the puzzle. Every step of the way there is meaning behind the events and as the story unfolds, the reader is pulled into a world of deceit, and lies, secrets, and above all, love. A love that rises to the surface and shines on Bennett and Winter like the very Force of Nature that they both are.
Bennett Everest has earned his stripes as an Everest and is a force to be reckoned with, and like his brothers, he has fallen—fallen in love—three down, none to go! Bennett Everest is every woman’s dream man with his caring soul, protectiveness, and loyalty to family. Not only does Winter recognize what is missing in her life through him, but I think the author may have awakened a few readers minds on this aspect of life as well.
Bennett has a great sense of humor and is super charming. He loves to toss that charm in Winter’s direction to make her laugh and get a playful rise out of her. This is why Bennett is so lovable and one of the best book boyfriends ever. One of my favorite moments was this one:
I’m about to drop this towel . . . “Are you going to watch, or you want to give a guy a little privacy?”
“You have something to hide, movie star?”
Laughing feels good and lightens the mood. “Nope, nothing to hide, sweetheart.”
The towel falls, and she sits straight up. Her fair is a mess as her eyes go wide, absorbing the full picture.
For a woman who can have her choice of any man, she acts like this is the first time she’s seen one naked. “Need some extra time to take in . . . well, the extra?”
Bennett never stops showing Winter that she matters and that he cares about her, that she is worthy of that love, and all her feelings are important. She is a lioness, his cactus thorn, and they belong together. His words are always meaningful, well thought out, and exactly what Winter needs to hear. He shows his romantic and protective side along with his devotion with phases like this:
“I won’t hurt you, not ever… I can’t erase the past. I can only promise you the future and thatI’m waging my life on…I’m not going anywhere except where you go, sweetheart.”
I also loved this one: “Give me something, like which wall do I have to hurt for banging you up?”
Bennett Everest may be my absolute favorite Everest’s. He is brave and wears his hear on this sleeve. He sees what he wants, what he needs, to make himself complete, and he doesn’t stop until he has her. Winter and Bennett are a match made in heaven, the force and pull of the universe bringing them together. This was a great story that I totally recommend. Whatever Everest brother book you start with, you can’t go wrong. They may be better read in order, but it is not necessary. Your life will be enriched but the love that pours out of these boys. Their women are very lucky indeed!
First of all…can we talk about that cover for a while?? If a man like that offered to keep me safe I’d gladly accept now back to the story…
I’ve was super excited for this book and it didn’t disapoint. Both Winter and Bennett were great individuals as they were a couple to get to know. I loved how strong Winter was even when she didn’t realize it. And talk about a dream guy…Bennett had me blushing, laughing, crying and swooning so hard it was not even funny.
“Love is seeing someone and realizing they’re your soulmate. We weren’t just two people attracted to each other. We were two souls drawn together.”
Everything about this story was perfect; from the way they met, how they relayed and loved each other. Another hit by SL Scott.

Bennett is sent to Paris to find Winter by her father. He’s supposed to bring her back but once he meets Herman he’s unsure what to do. Will he return her to her father or follow his heart?
A Romance Suspense that will captivate your heart!
Bennett and Winters story has been beautifully written. Captivating and creative S.L. Scott has once again got my heart racing and made me weak at the knees all at the same time.
Bennett is the youngest of the Everest Brothers and is just as Swoon worthy if not more so than his brothers. Winter Nobleman is the fiesty and defiant heroine and together they make this story one of the best I’ve read to date.
Force Of Nature is exactly as the the title reads. Suspense, intrigue and a love story for the true romantics that you will not be able to put down.
Wow……just W.O.W.!!!! S.L. Scott has once again delivered a heart-stoppingly beautiful story that completely blew me away. Force of Nature is a sexy, suspenseful, thrilling and romantic love story which is not to be missed. It’s the third book in the Everest Brother’s series but reads as a 100% complete standalone. Reading of prior books is not necessary but it will certainly enhance the reading experience. *Full disclosure, I have yet to read the first book, Everest but plan to go back and do so because I NEED to know Ethan and Singer’s story! So if you haven’t read prior books, don’t worry….you can jump right into Force of Nature with no problem.
Force of Nature is Bennett Everest and Winter Nobleman’s story and it will keep you up late into the night flipping pages as the story unfolds. Scott sets the stage for amour and whisks us away to the City of Lights with her beautifully descriptive words. Paris is the perfect backdrop for the passionate start for these two characters. I swooned something fierce for the romantic Bennett. He will literally sweep you off of your feet just as he did with Winter. Bennet and Winter have insane chemistry and it was something that I could really feel jumping off of the pages. I loved how one minute their relationship was full of fun, flirty banter and then the next minute it was intensely sensual and sexy.
As Bennett and Winter fall in love, secrets and danger lurk at every turn. The darkness comes and, at times, will shock readers. I was amazed at all of the twists and turns the story took! I couldn’t put my Kindle down because I HAD to know what was going to happen! I wanted to savor every minute but at the same time, I was racing through to find out what was to come for Bennett and Winter. Scott executed this story perfectly! With stellar writing and the kind of plot that you instantly connect with, it was everything I love in a story and more. 5 stars for Force of Nature!
FORCE OF NATURE is the third book of the Everest Brothers. I enjoyed Ethan and Hutton’s stories. Now time for Bennett Everest’s story. And what a story it is! Bennett is ready to close a business deal, when an ultimatum is made by a grieving father. He hasn’t heard from his only daughter who is now in Paris. If Bennett will just go bring her home, the deal will be sealed. Bennett is sure this will be so easy to bring the missing daughter (Winter Nobleman) home. It should be easy: Get in. Get the girl. Get out! Soon he is to learn it was anything, but easy!
His plans do not go as expected. He meets her, but she is not receptive to his advances or charm. The more he thinks about it, and how he hadn’t told her who he is or why he was there, It will change tomorrow when he exposes the truth. That is if he even gets to see her again. “If Wishes come true and fate has it’s way.”
Bennett doesn’t know if he believes in love at first sight. But seeing Winter is the closest he has ever been. He is not sure where they are headed in their relationship. But, “It means I give you my heart, and you give me yours.” She curls into him, molding herself to his body wanting to sink into his arms. Yet, there is so much standing in their way. There is no point regretting what they couldn’t change. Acknowledge the problem. Address it. Solve it. Survive it. He was a force of nature. She was a force to be reckoned with.
Nothing is as it seems. Problems & enemies are everywhere. Twist and turns, but will love be enough! Bennett was the hero of her very own fairy tale. And Winter was the queen of his. But would it be enough for the Happy Ever After??
