In the third installment of the James Brothers series you finally get to meet the most impulsive James brother of all…Bowie. One night over a decade ago Bowie James’ life changed forever. Flashing lights, cops, ambulances and three body bags left his world turned upside down and the love of his life Hollis Foust on the run.Throughout the years Bowie has wondered and even searched for Hollis … searched for Hollis without any success and just when he’s about to give up hope she walks back into his life. Bowie’s little brother, Ace hired a new tattoo artist for his shop, Inkredible, only to find that Holly Sullivan is actually Hollis Foust all grown up.
Bowie has spent years trying to move past that fateful night and the memories of Hollis that still haunt him but now that she’s back does that mean he gets the second chance he’s never allowed himself to even dream of? However, Hollis’ disappearance left Bowie’s heart and trust shattered but could Hollis be the one to repair the damage?
Hollis’ life has been anything but easy and the last ten years have been no different. The memories of Bowie and his love were the only things that kept her striving to get through it all. All of her daydreams about being reunited with Bowie couldn’t have prepared her for the war of emotions it causes though.

Another great heart stopping action packed book in the James Brothers Series.
Force of Impact is about Bowie. We know Bowie in the first two books as the brother who loves to drive fast, win races and sleep with women but never gets attached.
Bowie’s had his heart broken by his first and true love Hollis when they were just teenagers.
Hollis’s life has always been hard but when a tragedy struck and took her entire family, Hollis decided disappearing was safer for everyone.
Returning 10 years later she’s back and renting a tattoo space at Ace’s tattoo shop, Inkcredible. With Hollis’s return her and Bowie naturally start getting reacquainted but the past that’s haunted them both catches back up with them.
Deciding to fight back, Hollis comes up with a plan, if only Bowie can trust her long enough to follow through with it.
Force of Impact was AMAZING. All the books in the James Brothers series have been non-stop action. I literally have a hard time putting these down once I start.
Stephanie Nichole
Bowie’s story is filled with heartache. Only Hollis can make him whole again. Loved this story, the angst and drama. The ending almost ended me!!! Loved it.
Yet another addictive story from Stephanie Nichole.
The storyline flowed like river water over rocks: smooth and alluring, drawing you in with characters that speak to you on a personal level. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I cannot wait to see what Stephanie has in store for us next.
If you’re looking for a second chance romance that allows me to escape reality for a few hours, turn to any of Stephanie’s books. You won’t regret it.
I enjoyed losing myself in the story of Bowie and Hollis, two halves of a whole who were separated by a tragic event 11 years prior.
It has all the makings of a perfect Sunday afternoon read: character development, emotional twists, and enough drama to help us forget about our daily lives if only for a few hours.
The James Brothers Series is absolutely fantastic!! I couldn’t put down Bowie and Hollis’s story! The range of emotions this book brought out of me was crazy! You must read this book!!
What can I say besides Bowie FREAKIN James.
All the James brothers hold a special place in my heart. I think Bowie comes in number two. Ace will forEVER be my number one lol, but he has had his time to shine. It’s Bowies turn to be happy.
When I first learned what happened to Hollis, I felt horrible. Like, who could do that to a child because of the decisions their parents make in life? I was so mad and didn’t blame her for fleeing, how could she not? Living in fear that you could be next was no way to live. Then to find out what she had to do to survive, that girls one strong cookie.
Bowie, I was mad at him with how he handled the fact that she left and let it fester for 10 years. I didn’t like the fact that he met someone who wasn’t a girlfriend, but was to satisfy his needs. I know he couldn’t hold out for 10 years waiting on Hollis to return and that made me mad, which it shouldn’t but it did. I also understand why he did it, he never expected her to come back.
I was so happy all ended well because they both deserved happiness after all they went through. Second chance love always wins.
Phenomenal ready yet again. I can’t wait to see who is up next!
A great story with angst and suspense because you want to root for these characters to find their way again after many years apart. I love to read both points of views so you can get intimate with both characters and get to know them well and feel all the pain and impact of their feelings and thoughts. Great story and very well written.
Bowie and Hollis’ story is amazing! I love second chance stories and one featuring the James brothers is even better. I am enjoying getting to read all of their stories and each one is better than the last.
Another amazing addition to the James Brothers Series and Bowie’s story. I was completely captivated by Bowie and Hollis’s story. Bowie and Hollis were high school sweethearts, then when tragedy strikes Hollis leaves without a word leaving Bowie heartbroken. Now, ten years later Hollis is back and the old feelings are still there between them. Will they be able to make a relationship work and put the past behind them? Such an incredible story and series!! I highly recommend you read it for yourself, you won’t regret it.
As annoyed as I was by Bowie at times, I had to like him. And the same goes for Hollis. She did what she thought she needed to at 15, and then again now. Was it stupid back then? A little. Was it now? A little less stupid now. She knew that she had to be free of the past before she and Bowie could have any chance at a decent future. And the rest of Bowie’s family banded together to protect Hollis and Bowie however they could, even if they didn’t quite understand all that was in play at the time. And when it all came to a head, I doubted that this author would make it all okay. But she did. In a fabulous way.
My ONLY wish is that a certain super mean girl gets her comeuppance at some point. She needs to be taken down far more pegs than even Kynlee and her brilliant snark managed to do. But maybe that’s for another book…and if not, at least that someone learned the hard way not to be nasty to every woman she meets.
The James brothers are a legacy in the racing world. Each brother draws you in and pulls you into their world as they find the one person who completes them. Bowie has been forever haunted about the girl he loved and lost. Imagine his surprise when he meets her again. The breath halted in his lungs and for the first time in years he was able to finally live again. He merely existed for far too many years as she brings life back into his world. A second chance is something to cherish and he will enjoy every single minute he gets to be with the one who was his first and last love.
Where can I get a James brother????? Bowie and Hollis were high school sweethearts until a tragedy tore them apart. Ten years later, Hollis is back in town. Feelings still linger for Bowie but he has so many questions. Can they put the past behind them to find away to move forward? Or will Hollis’ demons tear them apart for good?
Such a good story! I love this series!! And not just because I’m an 80’s music junkie either. The James brothers have big hearts, drive fast and love hard. All the characters are so good!
A fabulous third instalment of the James brothers series. Definitely a road driven with many twists and turns and unexpected roundabouts lol Seriously though my head was screaming wtf many times!! Diving into book 4!!
Force of Impact by Stephanie Nichole is a great story to read. I am so glad I was able to read this great second chance romance story. I love reading stories like this cause it gives everyone hope to be able to have a second chance with someone.

The third book of the James Brothers series. This is Holly Sullivan/Foust and Bowie James’story about a second chance after things that happened over a decade ago that made Holly leave their hometown.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Bowie has loved Hollis since he was seventeen and she was fifteen. Hollis’ parents and brother die in a fire. Hollis runs away so she won’t be put in the system. After eleven years he still doesn’t understand why she didn’t trust him to help her. On the day of his brother Axell’s wedding he finds out she back in town. Can he forgive and trust her again? Hollis has eleven year of secrets. Can she learn to trust Bowie enough to let him in and let him know those secrets?
This book packs a huge emotional punch. Had me in tears more than once. Hollis’s story is so very sad and Bowie ends up a victim of the fallout.
This is a beautifully written story of young love, finding your one and only only to lose them and the devastation in the aftermath. Any story that can pull so hard on your emotions is a great read in my books. Loved it.
Over ten years ago Bowie life changes and he loses the woman he loves. Now she’s back hoping to have a second chance with Bowie. Ace has hired a new tattoo artist and even though she has a different name she is the woman who has haunted him for years. Will they get the chance to make up or will the past she has been running from be too much for her to handle?

In this book we get the back story of how Bowie and Hollis met, along with what her home life was like growing up. Then her world turns upside down one night when Bowie takes her home and they see three body bags amid the flashing police lights and ambulances.
Hollis leaves town without saying goodbye. And for Bowie, not only does he have to deal with Hollis leaving but just a couple months later his mother is dead. Without Hollis there to calm Bowie down, he gets into all kinds of trouble. Hollis doesn’t have an easy time of it either as she tries to survive and then finally returns to LA. Unfortunately there is someone who isn’t happy to see Hollis return and it leads to trouble for her.
There were a lot of touching moments in the overall story. I loved both of the main characters and the way they completed each other. As we see throughout the series, the James parents did a good job of raising their boys to be gentlemen and they learn later to appreciate the love of their parents and their family live – even if they didn’t have that much on a monetary basis.
His life was turn upside down that one night in flashing lights and sirens. She ran away and he never forget her. Now years later she reappears in the last place he expected. Can they make it this time? Can they overcome the last for a better future? See if they will
