Why is my perfect match the only guy I hate on campus? When I join the college dating app, I’m expecting to be matched with someone who’s my type. Instead, I get the college prankster, Elijah. He might be good looking, he might even be chivalrous, but that doesn’t mean I’m interested.I think it’s a mistake, or maybe one of his pranks. I keep my distance for a while, but I’m only human. Mistake is … for a while, but I’m only human.
Mistake is my middle name, especially when it comes to relationships.
And I find myself left with two dramas. Elijah is going to be my stepbrother and is now totally forbidden. Oh, and the other thing is I’m carrying his baby.
This is a standalone novel with a HEA and NO cheating!

I loved this! It grabbed me from the first page, kept me til the last and enthralled me in between. Well worth your time to read it.
Elijah dislikes Sophia who has taken a dislike to Elijah. Elijah hacks into her computer which she has left open on her desk one day and tries to find something to use against her. He finds that she has joined a college dating site. He uses the information she used on her profile to create a profile that will draw Sophia to him. They eventually meet and a romance begins. Sophia discovers that she is pregnant to Elijah on the day that they find out they are now step-brother and step-sister. A lot of hurt feelings and anger that is misplaced keeps them from each other. This was an awesome book. It was an intensely wonderful story. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
I don’t think title didn’t fit the story at all. The female protagonist isn’t likable, the male protagonist is bland. The story isn’t great, it reads like a subpar soap opera.

This is the first book I have read by this author. It is a enemies to lovers slash step brother style romance. Sophia and Elijah mix as well as oil and water. Sophia signs up for the college campus dating app in hopes of finding Mr. Right. Elijah sees the app and Sophia’s profile in her computer and decides to make his own profile. The dating app makes a match out of them. This is just the beginning of how their lives will become intertwined. Just when you think they may have sorted stuff out the author is ready with another curve ball that will knock them off their high horses. I found the book was entertaining to read.

solid story
I really liked Elijah and Sofia’s story. Although he started their relationship under false pretenses, it becomes abundantly clear that he falls for her fairly quickly and regrets his actions. Too bad he didn’t come clean before she found out and too bad they are now step-siblings (which freaks her out) add to all of that, the baby and the turmoil this couple faces is intense. – 1 star for some editing issues but a solid story.

Intriguing from the start, this story grabs my attention. Sophia and Elijah have an interesting journey. This has plenty of drama. The characters are a bit immature at time making you want to shake some sense into them. If you like stepsibling and enemy to lovers you will like this read.
Could not put this book dawn! It was amazing. When true feelings are there, you just have to fight for them – no matter what. The author was fabulous at conveying heartfelt emotions to the brilliant, lovable characters. This is one book I will read more than a few times I am quite sure. It stayed with me long after I finished it.

The plot was promising but unfortunately that’s all. Characters are petty and childish, there is no really chemistry whatsoever.

This was a good read. I did have a hard time liking Sophia at first but I did warm up to her in the end.
Title: Forbidden
Author: Stephanie Brother
Genre: Contemporary Stepbrother Romance
*RECEIVED FREE COPY FOR HONEST REVIEW*
I really liked this book. They start out enemies and he is a bully but they end up falling for each other.
The book moves along easily and the characters are real. It took me back to my college days and the immaturity of those so called young adults. I really feel Ms. Brother gave a true portrait of “kids” going through the liminal phase to adulthood.
I didn’t like how the story peaks and things get serious and within like two sentences they work things out. It felt like the author wanted to wrap the story up so everything became stunted and quick.
I did get another book by the author to see if maybe they become a favorite read of mine. Like I said, I did enjoy the story overall.
Romance 2/5 stars no real romance.
Sexiness 4/5 stars not smut very tasteful but very sexy.
Characters 5/5 for realism.
Storyline 3/5 really good until the climax.
Total 3/5 stars
This is the first book in a new series from this talented author. Elijah wants to find out why Sophia does not like him and decides to hack her computer to find what makes her tick. When he finds a dating site he decides to create a profile and get Sophia to date him. This is a good story which is entertaining. I look forward to reading more from this author and I recommend for all.
