This NC17 Romance about a run-away bride can be read in a day and deals with self-esteem. I read an Advance Reader Copy and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
fun read
Rosie never expects what the future has in store for her. A revelation of a cheating groom to be, a honeymoon minus said cheating groom. A chance meeting with Stefano in the city of love will be the start of a entertaining romance. A quick, easy, entertaining tale of insta-love, with good supporting characters.
The seventh book in the Princes of Avce series and I was not putting it down until I finished a well written story that I found myself smiling through. This is Stefano Durnova, the Marchese of Normanni and Jilted bride Rossie Diaz who both meet in Paris where she has gone with her best friend. This is a series I will be reading again. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
Fun, quick read!
Poor Rossie found out her groom was cheating with one of the bridesmaids the night before they were to be married. Well, that wasn’t happening any more! She and her friend Clara (who was kind enough to bring the cheating to her attention), go to Paris on the arranged honeymoon, paid for by the groom. At The Eiffel Tower, she meets Stefano who is in dire need of a wife. If he doesn’t marry, he will lose his inheritance and everything he has worked for in Avce. Stefano and Rossie are supposedly a perfect match according to a computer program that determines perfect couples. Rossie agreed and they are married the following day. Things go well, until…
This was a fun, quick read with quirky characters. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
I was provided with an ARC of this book and I am providing my honest review. I have received no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.
Victoria Pinder is one of my favorite authors. Yes, she writes HEA romances but her books are so much more than fluff. In this story, Stephano is a nobleman of Avce who must marry before his thirtieth birthday. As we learned in Forbidden Monsieur, Chelsea chose to marry a vintner, leaving Stephano without a bride. Rosalind (Rossie) left her wedding prior to the nuptials when she discovers her fiance’s infidelity, and with the aid of her best friend Clara, flies to Paris to enjoy the perks of a prepaid honeymoon. There she meets Stephano who is short a bride. Rossie, short a husband, recklessly agrees to marriage.
The author has created characters with a depth seldom written. They are insecure, impulsive and so utterly human and relatable. The characters in this story, as in real life, are shaped by their childhood as well as upbringing. I love the fact that the author did not shy away from the long-reaching effects of bullying as Rossie struggles with issues of self-esteem. Another great book in this series.
A delightful romantic tale. Very high on the romance level. The characters are all quite diverse. There are a number of characters involved in the telling of this tale. All characters are very well developed and believable within the context of this story. This is an easy read as the story flows seamlessly and totally engages the reader to keep flipping pages right to the end of the novel, in one sitting. (Yes, this reader did this with ease.) This reader really enjoyed this novel. Ms Pinder is an excellent story teller!
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
After Rossie dumps her cheating fiance right before the wedding, she grabs her best friend and they head to France. She doesn’t expect to meet Stefano who must get married right away to keep his fortune. Since she feels she can never be good enough she marries him. He makes her feel cherished. But she was so bullied about her looks from her fiance she doesn’t feel good enough and she may mess up the best thing she’s ever had. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
When Rossie learns at her wedding that her fiance is a cheater, she leaves the church and heads for Paris with her best friend Clara. A chance meeting at the Eiffel Tower morphs into a marriage to a stranger. Lots of self-esteem issues surface and no shortage of drama or self-pity. Stephano is so easy going and likable, he may just be my next book boyfriend. Twists, surprises and finally an HEA. I read this book as an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review.
A delightful story of an impetuous woman and a desperate man. Rossie Diaz also lacks in self-esteem making it hard to accept the love and complements of others. Stefano Durnova doesn’t believe that love really exists. Together, they make a wonderful couple. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. I am leaving my honest review.
