My list of things to do:
Get rid of my (utterly irresistible) enemy.
Save my town.
Protect my heart.
So far, I’m failing at all three.
Jeremiah has been sent to ruin my town.
To shut down the same factory that keeps us afloat.
Psst, like I’d ever let him.
Jeremiah’s too stubborn to back off.
Heartless, right?
I thought so too.
His arrogance is forcing me to take matters into my own hands.
This … own hands.
This crazy rich billionaire has no clue who he’s up against.
I’ve got my game face on.
The only problem?
I’m also wearing my heart on my sleeve.
He knows that he’s my weakness.
And I know… that this fight could get real ugly, real quick.

This is the third book in the Forbidden Lovers series, it can be read as a standalone story….
A wonderful well-written enemies to lovers romance, the storyline is interesting and filled with plenty of drama and emotion. The characters are incredibly likable and they have plenty of sizzling chemistry.
This is book three in Natasha L. Black’s Forbidden Lovers series. You do not need to read these books in order to understand and follow the story.
Jeremiah is the slick billionaire who has big plans and will do what it takes to get his way. Maggie is always looking out for everyone else and gets her hackles up when she sees Jeremiah as a threat. Of course he threatens more than the factory her town depends on, he threatens her heart as well.
This is a fast moving story and the chemistry between Jeremiah and Maggie is very entertaining. It kept a smile on my face seeing the banter between them And it made things so much more satisfying when they give in. I enjoyed the growth and personal journey almost as much as I enjoyed the plot.

Good read with explosive chemistry (good and bad) and great characters!!
Storyline is relevant to small towns (or at least it was to mine) though I don’t remember any good spiciness!!

This is a story of a small town that has run into trouble
with the main job source closing down.
One person decided to fight for them.
This is how the two main characters came together one
Fighting to keep things going and the other trying to close it down.
Will they be able to put their differents aside .

I really enjoyed this one. I love stories set in small towns, and loved the theme of this one in particular – trying to save a local factory from being closed down in order to save the local community. Maggie and Jeremiah had me gripped in their story and struggles. I loved the whole atmosphere and the way things pan out in the end. Great read.

This interesting storyline kept me turning the pages. This was well written and has wonderful characters who have explosive chemistry. Jeremiah and Maggie are on opposite sides of an issue and feel very strongly about this issue. This enemy to lovers tale does have an HEA ending.

Falling for my Enemy
Anyone that has lived in a small town knows that “one” business. The one that everything else revolves around. Without it the town would wither and die. What would you do to protect it? Would you go toe-to-toe with the enemy? Would you fall for him? This is Maggie’s dilemma. Ms. Black has a written a wonderful “realistic” read with this one…..

Natasha L. Black tells an intriguing story and Falling For My Enemy is no exception. It had my interest from the first page to the last one. I love an enemy to lover tales. Read this one, you will love it too.

Maggie and Jeremiah are at cross-purposes in this latest book by Natasha L. Black. Jeremiah is in town to shut down the chicken plant which is the primary source of employment for the residents of the town and Maggie owns and operates the child care facility that services the employees of the plant. They meet and sparks fly! Not only in regards to their opposing stands on the plant closure issue but also due to the intense physical attraction between them. This was a very well-written book with characters that felt real and I like how Ms. Black frequently highlights an issue in her books that is relevant to our world today, ie. the plant closure, and brings it out to the forefront while also giving us a nice, steamy romance to enjoy that culminates with a resolution and HEA!

Natasha L. Black has written a 5-star book that has the main characters starting out as enemies with an intense attraction to each other. Maggie is the owner of a daycare center that keeps the children of the processing plant workers. Jeremiah works for Hadley corporation and has been sent to get a report on whether or not to shut the processing plant down. Maggie is at the desk of the Inn that her mother owns when Jeremiah walks in. They start flirting with each other until she learns who he is and then she goes a little cold towards him. They start spending time together and their feelings for one another grow stronger. Things go good for them until Jeremiah tells her what his report will say and she breaks things off with him. After he goes back home he can’t stop thinking about Maggie and he calls her but she doesn’t want to talk to him so she hangs up. Jeremiah can’t stand not being able to see Maggie so he goes to see her and tries to explain to her. They go out to dinner and then go back to his room and sleep together until a misunderstanding between them and Maggie tells him off and leaves.
Can Maggie get past her feelings for Jeremiah and move on with her life?
Will Jeremiah get a second chance with Maggie?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

When someone is sent in to evaluate the only factory in town and talk of being closed down maggie wants to try to help save her only business and hopefully the factory, but when she meets Jeremiah will sparks fly or will fireworks shoot off lik ed her temper? I absolutely fell in love with Jeremiah he was trying to do the right thing and not lie but will it cost him Maggie? I his book was such a great read.hooked from beginning until the end.
Maggie lives in a small southern community that relies on a huge plant for the town’s survival. She owns and operates a daycare center. Plus, she works at her parents Bed and Breakfast when needed. Jeremiah is sent into town to oversee and report his findings on the plant. The owner wants to shut it down and ship their business overseas for cheaper labor and materials. Jeremiah meets Maggie and the sparks and mouths fly! They waltz around each other for days before giving in to what they knew was inevitable. Now, he has to close the plant…and that will end what they have going. How can he save the town? Get Maggie back? I received this via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.
Absolutely the best Storyline!
When I started reading FALLING FOR MY ENEMY I was expecting another same ole same ole, well, falling for my enemy kind of book. Well, I was so very wrong.
I mean, sure that’s the premise. But the story is SO MUCH MORE!! The characters are so well written and interact with each other so wonderfully that it makes the story come alive and jump out at the reader from beginning to end!
I’ve read other books written by Natasha L. Black, so I was already a fan. This book only adds to that statement. It was a one-sitting read for me. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down.
This is book three of the Forbidden Lover Series and the hot chemistry between the main characters continue in this read. When Jeremiah, an analyst determining whether the only large company in Maggie’s town would be able to financially survive, and she meet it was like lightening struck them both. The story and solution to the problem is interesting and engaging with many strong characters. Good read!

Excellent romance full of strong emotions until the end
It’s an excellent romance because from the start we know that heroes are very attracted but above all even more separated by capitalism and its cruel reality. From the beginning to the end, I wondered if it would end in a drama or a happy ending.
I loved the character of Maggie, who is strong on his convictions, his emotions, loyal, but also the character of Jérémiah who knows that he should not give in to his attraction for Maggie because he cannot bring good news for the city, but he can’t resist her.
Jérémiah comes to write a report on a chicken plant that brings a whole small town to life, for the multinational company that owns it. He knows that the closure is almost certain and he does not particularly like his job. When he arrives at the BnB, he is greeted by Maggie, the daughter of the owner who is also the director of a daycare which she has created for the children of the factory workers: if the factory closes, all of the city closes and so does she.
So she decides to hate Jeremiah, but she does not succeed, not to mention that the whole city has opted for the option of welcoming him with the southern kindless way.
Jérémiah doesn’t know what to do: support Maggie and the city, give in to their attraction, give an honest report. Whatever he does he knows he will lose.

Good Girl’s Don’t Play With Bad Boys….
by and1515
Maggie was hoping and praying the rumors weren’t true because if they were she was in big trouble.
This wasn’t an assignment he wanted but here Jeremiah was in a small town to inspect the plant but he didn’t want to think about the last part.
The fiery Inn-keeper’s daughter gave him quite and earful about the plant and how significant it was to the community.
Maggie had to admit he was a sexy man on two legs but he was the corporate shark whom she’d been almost rude to was probably going to be front and center for all her dirty little fantasies.
The moment Jeremiah arrived at the plant they’d been waiting to show him around trying to make the best impression as possible. No this wasn’t his normal job but here he was ticking things off a check list he was worried they were good but it might not be enough.
Now his brother was being a total sarcastic jerk whom he shared his reservations about his career and the hot redhead with the curves who was a distraction in the best way.
He’d been invited to town’s pot luck gathering which he knew and understood they were trying there hardest to impress him.
With all the cheesy puns an extremely witty banter flying back an forth between them and the non stop teasing the question is will they or won’t they?
The early bird might have gotten the worm but he got the sweetest fruit after all.
He could see the writing on the way Jeremiah knew people would be hurt an even angry with him, he’d expect it there wasn’t anything he could have done differently without compromising himself.
He still couldn’t get Maggie out of his head however he wasn’t sure she’d ever want him again after all the pain he caused.
