My list of things to do:
Get rid of my (utterly irresistible) enemy.
Save my town.
Protect my heart.
So far, I’m failing at all three.
Jeremiah has been sent to ruin my town.
To shut down the same factory that keeps us afloat.
Psst, like I’d ever let him.
Jeremiah’s too stubborn to back off.
Heartless, right?
I thought so too.
His arrogance is forcing me to take matters into my own hands.
This … own hands.
This crazy rich billionaire has no clue who he’s up against.
I’ve got my game face on.
The only problem?
I’m also wearing my heart on my sleeve.
He knows that he’s my weakness.
And I know… that this fight could get real ugly, real quick.
Book 3 in the Forbidden Lovers series brings you Jeremiah and Maggie’s story. Falling for my Enemy is a standalone, full-length romance with burning passion, secrets, and drama. And don’t forget the HEA that makes it all worthwhile.

Like so many small towns, Maggie lives in a town that has one major employer and the rest of the town depends on it’s success. Jeremiah is sent to town to determine wether to keep that factory open. Sparks fly between the two, but she is determined to change his mind by putting a face on each and every person dependent on the factory, and he is equally determined to do his job. Conflict happens, how they solve it and overcome the pain and disappointment. I thought this book was well paced, interesting, had a compelling storyline. Both characters had their pros and cons, which makes them human. A good read!
I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
Another well written story that was very enjoyable in this series. This is book 3 and just as good as the others. The characters were developed well and the story kept flowing so you didn’t want to put the book down afraid you were going to miss something. Enjoy.
4.5 stars – Oh, how they fight it! Jeremiah is in town on an assignment that’s likely to lead to the destruction of all that Maggie holds dear. It’s no secret. Yet, they can’t deny their chemistry no matter how hard they try to keep things above board. Through it all, they knew that they “shared the same ridiculously impure thoughts for each other.” I relished in the development of their love-hate relationship, where hate is really about the fact that his presence is temporary and likely to leave a negative stamp on those in town.
Having grown up in a small town where the entire community is dependent on a business that keeps things going is completely relatable to me. Maggie owns the daycare, her parents own the B&B, her friends and family are dependent on the chicken factory in town. When rumors run rampant that the company is sending someone to check on the plant and give his evaluation. She’s mad and intends to fight this loudly every step of the way. She runs on emotions. Jeremiah is a numbers guy but hates this part of his job. He doesn’t want to put people out of work but facts are facts and he will follow the logical path of what needs to be done. As fate would have it when he gets to town he checks into the B&B. This story gives a great interpretation of today’s happenings so it made relating to both the storyline and the characters so easy. I think this was probably the best one of the series so far.
So good!
It had it all – love, banter, chemistry, anger…and more.
Maggie and Jeremiah were really good characters and well described, as well as the town and the people in it.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
An entertaining, thrilling, and captivating book three in the Forbidden Lovers series! It is well written, well thought out, emotionally deep, and consistent with drama, secrets, twists and turns, and intense passion. The characters you will love and root for; the chemistry between them is off the charts! This book will draw you in, keep you on the edge of your seat, and leave you wanting more. Definitely recommended!

Falling For My Enemy packs loads of heat and personality into a deeply emotional romance. Black gives a bit of food for thought with Jeremiah and Maggie. He’s the man intent on shaking up her town. She’s the woman who refuses to back down. Two strong personalities have the ultimate fight on their hands until love makes compromise even more of an uphill battle. Black exposes the heart as she tempts the senses with a sensual battle of wills.
If you love opposites attract with impertinent but funny dialogue…This!
Falling for my Enemy – Forbidden Lovers , Book Three is another enticing, totally satisfied book by Natasha Black. The author, again pulls together to people who fit the opposites attract vibe. Jeremiah is the Company Man from the big city who’s all about numbers and has come to town to close the factory down, or so Maggie thinks. Maggie owns and runs the local daycare/pre-K center, where almost all of the factory’s parents use for their kids. She’s the local Goliath who does everything for everybody else but herself. How will her town be saved? Can Jeremiah save himself?
Of course Maggie and Jeremiah immediately come to blows and then often. They also immediately feel an intense reaction to each other. The dialogue between the two, which was meant to jab each other, was some of the funniest dialogue I’ve read so far this year. Also the townspeople and Maddie’s friends are a hoot.
To summarize, I’m wholeheartedly recommending this book for your reading enjoyment, pleasure and satisfaction.
Lets just say, Natasha knows how to bring the steam to her stories. Maggie was the in-keeper in a small town. Jeremiah and his brother was buying the factory that they wanted to close up. Maggie thought that they could persuaded Jeremiah to keep the factory open to help the town out but no matter what Maggie thought Jeremiah had a plan and his check list. Crossing off things until he runs into Maggie and she finds out he is not there to help them save the factory but to close it up. Jeremiah did not plan on the force of Maggie. Maggie was there to help her community by doing all she could to save the factory and their livelihood. So the only way to find out if Maggie was able to change Jeremiah mind is you will have to read the book. You know there was a happy ever after so what road did they take to get there. What drama was there to overcome. This book is worth your time reading

Falling For My Enemy is the third installment to The Forbidden Lovers Series, featuring a fierce and fiery redhead; Maggie, and her new gorgeous adversary; Jeremiah.
Once again, Ms. Natasha Black’s writing style captures the reader’s attention and draws them right in with their banter and chemistry as well as a sticky situation they must get out of. Following along from their introduction to the creative happily ever after, is addicting. These characters are realistic and easily envisioned, making you feel like you are right there with them. So much talent is packed in these superbly designed pages, I would definitely encourage you to dive right in.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced readers copy of Falling For My Enemy in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion.
I highly recommend reading this book as well as the Series as a whole.
I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update. Love this! This one is Maggie and Jeremiah’s story. He is in town to to check out the factory and determine its future. He hates this part of the job and doesn’t want to bankrupt a town, and the fiery Maggie lets him know what she thinks about that and him! The chemistry is there, but will they get past being enemies? This one hits close to home for many in a small town, but the twists and turns and their back and forth make this one that is hard to put down.
I really do not like Maggie. She is one of the most selfish characters that I have come across. Maggie doesn’t care about Jeremiah’s job, ethics, feelings and efforts he puts out there just for some decency and understanding from her self-centered and victimized perspective. I found the story to be a bit drawn out and therefore, my total annoyance with Maggie grew exponentially. The happy ending even felt sour to me because I could not get past Maggie’s abhorrent behavior.

Rich In Emotions
This was a story rich in emotions from lust to love, anger, angst, hope, joy. The characters ran through a gamut of emotions over the course of the telling of this story. There was a magnetic connection between the main male character and the main female character; they just could not seem to be able to help themselves as the magnetism between them was so strong. Nevertheless, all the emotions did lead to a happily ever after.

This is the 3rd Book in the “Forbidden Lovers” series and this enemies to lovers romance was well written and the characters were so well created that Jeremiah and Maggie kept me turning the pages until the very end!
Another mesmerizing book you can and will fall in love with. I could not get enough of this book. Sometimes enemies are meant to be more than…the enemy.

WOW! Another great read by Natasha L. Black. This is about a billionaire Jeremiah and Maggie small town girl just trying to save the factory and the town she lives in from otter ruins. The story is well developed in the characters are intriguing put them together and you have enemies to lovers. So hang on get on board for their journey. I absolutely loved this story. The storyline was so interesting that it completely captivated me and was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing book. Enjoy happy reading

This is the third book in the Forbidden Lovers series and is a five star enemies to lovers story. Jeremiah is the enemy in that he’s been sent to review the chicken plant which is the main employer in this small town. The company wants to shut it down and Maggie has made it her mission not to let that happen. You know what happens in small towns, they thrive on gossip and they know everyone’s business. Sometimes even before they do. Maggie is very emotionally involved because most of the workers effected are parents of her day school children. The chemistry between the two enemies, Maggie and Jeremiah is off the charts and she’s determined to win him over with kindness. This book has a different twist than most enemy to lovers stories. Well written with likable characters and plenty of steam. Drama of course and some turmoil. No spoiler here but it does have a HEA. I read an arc via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review.
Realistic and thought provoking!
Kudos to Ms. Black for writing about such a realistic and wholly unpleasant situation. It takes a lot of talent to deal with such a topic. Maggie is a delightful and courageous woman, who goes toe-to-toe with Jeremiah, the company representative empowered to either keep the factory (and town) alive or kill it. A great showcase for Ms. Black’s writing prowess!
