Oh, and defeat the … and defeat the Lord Regent and unify our Kingdom.
But before I can, I must survive my journey through the Dark Forest. Terrible, evil creatures dwell there. Creatures that see me as food… or worse. As terrified as I am, I’m compelled onward to find the answers I desperately need. Besides, I’ve been in worse places than–
Wait, what was that noise?

This is a must read book. A non-stop adventure full of twists and with more questions that need answers. The characters are lovable and full of emotions that onlyWilla could have dreamed off.
So I just need my Mila fix .
great read
Well worth reading!
I keep getting sucked in by this series, and each book gets better and better. Meela and her mates have everything, heat, mystery, suspense and more! So good! So easy to get hooked! My only complaint is that I need more!!!!
Forbidden Love does not open with a happy journey for any of the participants of the realm let alone Meela. Meela who is chasing her destiny. There were things totally unexpected in this book and the world building with its descriptions were not only unique but took on a life of their own. I had no idea where Forbidden Love was going to take me half the time. Now I can’t wait for the next part of the story. This is part of series that is best read in order and I recommend the prequel first.
Forbidden Love
Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Forbidden Love was a quick and easy read that was full of steam and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, I loved every single second of it.
Meela is brave, strong and willing to do what she must, she doesn’t let anyone stand in her way when she needs to get things done and she doesn’t let anyone tell her what she can or can not do. Meela is very aware of the people and the situation around her, with all the different factions at war with each other, she realizes that while she may have been given the task to unite all, it won’t by any means be easy or that everyone she loves will make it but she forges ahead because it’s the only way for anyone to know a feeling of true peace.
I have been waiting for this moment, Meela finally gets a mate she should have had all along. I just knew they were meant to be and I love seeing them together, there is a sweetness to their coupling that isn’t really present with the other guys. As for the others, Rex is working my last nerve. Rex is all alpha male and at times it drives me crazy. Rex tries to improve his behavior and thinking but then screws it up, it’s two steps forward and one step back. Rex is stubborn and doesn’t listen but he does mean the best even when he goes about the wrong way of doing it, but he cares for Meela and is starting to realize his faults. As for the princes, Sarkany he is all in with Meela and has learned his lessons about letting Meela chose her path then there is Taraz who responded to Meela’s new mate in a way that I feel was out of character for him and I’m curious to see how he is going to come to terms with what has happened. Meela and the guys are growing and changing on this quest to unite everyone.
Willa has expanded so much on the characters and the story. Meela is growing stronger and more confident in her role as the unifier while the guys are learning about equality and what they are willing to do for the people they care for, be that the woman they love, or the people they consider themselves responsible for. While more of the world is being revealed include some this world’s mythology which turns out may not have been myth at all, but hidden creatures of the land. I love the introduction of other supernaturals which gives the story an even greater fantasy feeling.
In the previous books, the story had a good flow with ups and downs but in Forbidden Love, it felt like it was nonstop action. One thing after another happened to the characters, everyone was in some sort of danger and I was riveted to the page, I read this book in one day and gawd I didn’t want it to end. The cliffhanger was killer and I can’t wait until more of Meela’s past is revealed. I have a few questions such as how is Meela going to unite everyone, what happened to her parents, and what is Vissmal planning, just to name a few. I think the next book is Forbidden Queen, and it’s supposed to be the final book in the series and I am so excited to see how Willa is gonna wrap-up this fantastic series.
I enjoyed reading this book, it is filled with action and adventure. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
It looks like the final stage has been set! Forbidden Love brought more danger and more peace as Meela is separated from some of her men as they fight battles on different fronts and forge new bonds. As each person in the group continues on the journey placed before them, it seems they may come out of this stronger individuals for the challenge. The final book should be an interesting showdown with any who would dare challenge them…
Another fantastic addition to the series. Plenty of intrigue, suspense, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. We are left on a cliffhanger but I’m really excited to see what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Meela is determined to continue on her journey despite what Rex says. Will Sarkany and Tarez and Jix be able to escape? So does Leo finally realize his mistake? While Meela is out on her journey she gets help from Jix. Well this is where is gets interesting. Jix has always had feelings for Meela but she never returned them. Then she catches feelings for him? So is this the forbidden love? I can say that it does get pretty steamy and hot. So how do her other mates feel? Will they accept another mate? Then we find out more information as in who actually killed the Tripsets parents. There is a war coming and I need to know what will happen. Cause right now it is looking pretty bleak. I cannot wait for the next book.
There is action with every turn of the page in this one. Meela is embroiled in so many plots with her mates that you will be unable to believe twists in this book. Really great read.
3.5 stars – This book felt like a bit of a filler at first, like it was just building on from book 3 and plodding along to the final book 5. It didn’t feel like a whole lot was happening other than Meela finding new powers and ways to communicate with different people.
Meela is now headstrong and determined to carry out what the White Wolf has shown her. Her mates are still struggling to accept each other but then when she takes on another mate (not saying who!), they almost stand united.
The last couple of chapters are what make this book, and after reading the expert for book 5, I am really looking forward to how this story ends.
The excitement continues as Meela goes deeper in the forest that she will finds answers from. Danger, survival and drama brings Meela closer to her mates , but betrayal and surprises brings a big part in the destruction of what she wants to be. A nail biting read from start to finish and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this addicting series that doesn’t disappoint.
