FOR YOUR EARS ONLY is the third book in the Unlikely Partners series. I strongly recommend reading all of the books in the series and in the order of release as it is a continuing relationship.
Sam is actually stronger than the men in her life are giving her credit for being, despite the proof of the last two adventures. Her sister, on the other hand, is TSTL; she needs a guardian!
I like the way that Mitchell and Sam are taking things slowly, despite an extended vacation around the world. I like that they are deliberate about declaring their feelings. There is chemistry between them, but there is also an acknowledgement of their pasts and their insecurities.
While this is a suspense romance and the bad guy is truly terrifying, the suspense is not drawn out. I like a quick resolution every once in a while and this series fits that need.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

The third book in the Unlikely Partners series, Ms. Sookoo once again delivers us another story filled with suspense and drama that keeps you locked to the story and turning the pages well into the night. Sam and Mitchell ‘s story continues as they have romantic plans for the holidays while a dangerous criminal has been let loose due to a clerical error. Mitchell wants to spend time with Sam, but at the same time he needs to protect her. This is a another well-written story delivered with just the right amount of action, romance, and adventure that will pull you in from the start. This has been such a great series so far, I can’t wait to read the next one!

If there is an explicit danger, details can cost or save lives
This action packed adventure shows off the faults and foibles of an otherwise intelligent agent. He seems not to be very high on the Emotional Intelligence scale though. Telling someone you love that you are uninterested in commitments does no one any favors
Funny and exciting
This is the story of Samantha and Mitchell. She is an author and he is an FBI agent. While getting ready to spend the holidays together, Mitchell learns that a criminal he put behind bars has been released in error. Can he protect Sam and give her the romantic holiday she’s been dreaming of? I enjoyed this romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Samantha Arnold is ready for the holidays. Her first romance novel is almost published, and she will be spending time with her boyfriend at last! Special Agent Mitchell is finally coming home after an exhausting case when he is informed that a clerical error caused the release of a very dangerous criminal. He and Sam will have to dodge bullets in one of the worst experiences possible as they try to keep each other safe. Definitely not the anticipated Christmas that everyone expected! Would they make it to next year’s celebration?
This was an exciting story line filled with suspense as the characters have to draw on all their skills to escape almost certain death. Grab your copy and be prepared to sit on the edge of your seat for this one!
This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Sandra Sookoo; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I love this series! Samantha (Sam) Arnold is exactly what Patton Mitchell needs in his life and she refuses to become a victim no matter how dangerous life becomes for the two of them what with Mitchell being an FBI agent and all that comes along with it. Now, if Mitchell could stop channeling the sayings of his deceased father and allow himself to really admit to himself just what he feels for Sam his life might start to look up. I am sure he will get there but while he creeps along at his snail pace Sam continues to attract trouble the way honey attracts flies and that includes Ashley, her younger sister who really manages to muck things up big time with the introduction of her new boyfriend Mark who does not fall into the good guy category by any means! If you like romantic suspense with a good amount of tongue-in-cheek humor, you need to read this series!! You will not regret it!

I wasn’t sure if I would like this story but I really liked it. The story of an FBI agent (Mitchel) and his new girlfriend (Samantha) that he keeps putting his thoughts of his father telling him of how he should believe before his actual feelings. He is also being pursued by an escaped killer and trying to protect Samantha.
