This is my first book I’ve read by this author and I found this a “very enjoyable” book to read. This story was like the quirky mysteries I see on tv. The touches of humor, the wonderful new husband Cooper, Katie herself, and all the bizarre things that happen kept me reading till the end. Though I have not read the previous book I was able to follow this story. I volunteer to read and review this comedy romance madcap adventure. ARC

Katie Maxwell is back and up to her usual shenanigans. She was just going to snoop around a bit to find out what her new husband, Cooper, is keeping from her and the next thing she knows she’s being arrested. In Paris. With no ID. She has to do some fast talking to stay out of jail, but she must convince the inspector because there’s no way she’s giving birth in prison.
The beginning of this book has Katie arrested for stalking Cooper Maxwell. Since she has no ID on her they think she’s lying about being married to the famous author and she’s just yet another crazy groupie. When the inspector asks her to start at the beginning, well, she does. She takes us back to the end of the first book and then brings us up to speed on why she’s sneaking around spying on Cooper on a closed film set in Paris. In-between there’s all kinds of crazy goings on as Katie and Cooper attempt to get married. Lots of humor and fun to be had in this light-hearted rom-com! You can read it if you haven’t read book 1, but really, who does that?! My only complaints are that Katie doesn’t stiffen her spine enough and her shenanigans are a bit too much at times. Otherwise, it’s quite the entertaining read.
OMG! I LOVED IT!! Talk about hilarious, I’m not sure which book was funnier. The first book had me rolling on the floor. This one had me giggling long after putting it down (and putting it down wasn’t easy). Katie seems to end up in the weirdest situations that you can’t help but laugh at. And Cooper is MINE!! He is the sweetest, most adorable book boyfriend. And trust me, he’s the perfect book boyfriend. If he can handle Katie and all her hair-brained schemes along with her clumsiness, he could handle anyone lol. And instead of getting angry and blowing up, they have sex… how could you say no to that?

A new author to me. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I did not read the first book in this series, but I am going to get it and read it. This story is about Katie and it is a light hearted read. I smiled and chuckled throughout.. Katie is a newlywed. Her hubby’s job takes them on a trip to Europe where she finds herself returning to her a meteor detective ways when the project is surrounded in secrecy. This lands Katie in hot water and forces her to try to talk her way out of a Parisian jail cell. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from HiddenGems
