A best friends-to-lovers, stand-alone romance by Award-Winning Author, Rachael Brownell, that proves sometimes love shatters the best-laid plans. The plan was simple. Fake a relationship, date for a few weeks to make their crushes jealous, then stage a breakup. Little did Gabby and Quinn know the cost could be their friendship. They knew the game they were playing was dangerous, yet lived … playing was dangerous, yet lived under the false illusion that their bond was strong enough to withstand anything. But as they found themselves longing to surrender to their growing feelings, each began to question what they truly wanted.
Can what started as an illusion become a beautiful reality? Or will a simple game of make-believe destroy Gabby and Quinn’s precious friendship?
“For All the Wrong Reasons is an engaging romance filled with angst, passion and a fake relationship that delivers very real feels.” – Cambria Hebert, Bestselling Author of the Hashtag Series

Box of tissues?? Anyone??
I am not sure if I need a box of tissues or a rolled up newspaper to beat the author or all the emotional things she has put me through. Although I will be the first person to tell you that emotions make the best books.
Whether it’s the cry, laughing, or yelling you will be doing as you read this book. You will fall hopelessly in love with the characters. There will be time you want to jump in the book and slug the characters for being mean, or maybe just a simple slap for being stupid.
You will find yourself not wanting to put the book down until you have finished it all the way to the end. Because you will want to see how it ends, trust me. But will it end they way we want, they way we hoped, or the way we dreaded.
Just wait and see and you will be blow away by the story.
Until Next Time… Tabi
Oh my word! This book is perfect! I loved every single thing about it. From the very first page, I was immediately sucked into the story and I couldn’t put this book down until I finished the book. The characters are relatable, the storyline is engaging and beautifully written and the romance is top notch. For All The Wrong Reasons is one of my favourite books of the year and I highly recommend checking it out!
I’ve enjoyed reading For All The Wrong Readons, a friends to lovers story.
Gabrielle and Quinn have been friends for years when they decide to fake a loving relationship in order to get the attention of their crush, her ex boyfriend and his housemate.
Will their plan to make them jealous be a success? Or will they lose everything putting their hearts on the line?
Rachael Brownell wrote this story exceptionally well, she made it believable and the reader can’t stop to cheer for the main characters to get their happy ending.
I really wish to read more about the supporting characters…I can’t wait for next novel release.
Oh. My. Goodness!
Rachael does is again. There is so much hurt and heartache in this book. Friendship bonds are put to the test. What will come of this situation? I was questioning it all the way to the end!
For All the Wrong Reasons (A Friends-to-Lovers Romance) is a fun listen. A “contract and schedule” laugh out loud. Some down & ups, great friendships and a good book.
Jena Lee single narration would have been better if it was dual narration. Her inflection is not well rounded.
I found it a bit difficult to differentiate between the characters voiced.
Gabrielle Miller thought her boyfriend Gavin was about to propose to her when he did the unthinkable and broke up with her. Yet no matter how much he humiliated her she knows that she would do anything to get him back.
Quinn Turner has a crush on his roommate Kara but he is getting tired of her constantly bringing different guys home. He thinks the best way for her to see what she’s missing with him is for him to get into his own relationship and make her jealous.
When Quinn hatches a plan with his close friend Gabrielle to make Gavin and Kara jealous will his plan destroy one of his most important friendships? Will Quinn realize maybe he was after the wrong girl the whole time?
This was such a great book and even though I was pretty sure I knew how it was going to turn out I loved the ride!
I felt so bad for Gabrielle when Gavin broke up with her and I loved her reaction to it. I was proud of her for initially standing her ground but then I was worried when she was ready to do whatever she could to get Gavin back even though it looked like he was already moving on.
I could understand why Quinn wanted Kara to see what she was missing but at the same time I couldn’t see why he would really want someone like that. Yet Quinn hatched his plan and thought that Gabrielle was the perfect person to go along with it as she had something to gain.
You knew right from the beginning that Quinn and Gabrielle would end up having awesome chemistry but I liked that both of them were shocked at what they felt with each other. I was happy that both struggled with it and it made each of them really think about everything differently as it wasn’t what either of them had planned.
The “schedule and contract” made me laugh and I knew that it was going to turn out to be bad news in some way.
Everything that began at the party shocked me and I was utterly surprised at how everything went down and how fast it all fell apart. Then even more stuff happened and my jaw was on the floor.
I was surprised at how long everything took to get out in the air and talked about. It made me sad as I had a feeling there was so much more to everything that was seen. I was so grateful to Nathan and Jade for helping put everything back together!
The end was great and I really hope we get something with Jade and Nathan next!!
